Popcorn Mafia 4 - Game Over, Village Wins

Then you better not goddamn miss, my reads on the flipped players have been pretty bang on this game and we're past the point where I can be comfortable letting the game take its course. I've wanted celever shot since day 1 and they're still kicking as we shoot town after town. Anyone who still wants des shot better genuinely fucking believe they're scum because we no longer have the luxury of picking off inactives and missing.
 
my options are trust my reads and eat crow if i'm wrong, or trust your reads and eat crow if you're wrong

either way im eating crow if i shoot wrong so why would i also eat the additional crow of "why would you shoot off of someone else's reads that you don't even find a lot of faith in"
 
you have the opportunity of not actually losing anything, all you have to do is say i should shoot your reads which like, everyone should be doing, i have to take the actual shot. you get to stay in the game since nobody's shooting you on your reads list, i get to leave the game handing the gun to someone i think is town because you decided that your reads should be more important to me than my reads because "respect"
 
wow such a convincing argument for me to fall in line. "my piece" is to curse me out that i'm not just accepting your reads blindly and pointing the gun at town members you think are scum because "i had a good read once" and "you should respect me"

AirC - could be scum, but i kinda dont think they are based on their early game being so uncoached visibly. however, their responses to dbd at kindest read "town who is convinced dbd is scum" or more ungenerously "scum buckling under pressure"
Celever - i have yet to read a celever post that reads scummy to me
Dead by Daylight - their interactions w/ airc strongly make me think that they are town
des121 - pretty strongly think they are scum. fucking despise the monday "tomorrow" thing that resulted in a garbage explanation on thursday/friday
Evie - could be scum. im not convinced they are yet, but could be. the reasons folks seem to think they're scum dont stand up in my head but there are only so many slots left
joey - strong scum belief, was afk up to when afks started getting shot then dumped a wallpost while hedging "oh im going on vacay so maybe im still afk" to be able to jump in the afk/active pile that isnt being actually shot
phoopes - still doesnt read as coached, id be shocked if phoopes was scum
ShyPebble - still doesnt read coached to me. outside chance of being scum
Texas Cloverleaf - felt scum but today's behavior feels more panicked town than attempt at powerwolf
Tommy - feels scum here, the progression of trying to guide the thread (explaining game concepts is nai for tommy) early on to taking his foot off the pedal reads to me as a scum who is satisfied with the game progression now that others have picked up the afk kill call

joey > des > tommy >> airc > evie > texas >> shypebble >> celever > dbd > phoopes

this is where i am at currently on my thoughts

Don't know why you think DBD/airc interactions are town when the whole basis of their read is a airc/pebble interaction that doesn't exist
Aside from celever/dbd it's a solid shit progression
 
dunno if "solid shit progression" is a compliment or not but given your energy towards me since ive woken up im taking it as not

the dbd/airc interactions are AI even if the source of their argument is a nothingburger

not really what im saying, im just saying that its interesting that a des shot is being hard pushed now

i get your argument of them just falling into the poe, but there are people who think shes actively scummy, which doesnt make sense considering theres not really anything to go off. this makes her a good shot yes, but it doesnt make her scummy in my eyes

im not trying to say no to a des shot, just pointing out things that should potentially be looked back on if she were to flip town

If this is the reason I'm in the poe with Joey and Des then I find that kind of unfair tbh. Des has been mostly unhelpful/lurk-y. Joey dipped for days. Ik I'm still getting the hang of things but I've been contributing and analyzing other folks, even if I was wrong on Pulsar I was right abt the a fairy/skipper thing. And the AirC verdict is still out

How does des usually play btw? Also what is crow?

I am still comfortable with a Des shot. I think we still have 2-3 bad shots anyway, and Joey at least has enough content now that I feel like it's easier to read them.

If we do 1 shot on someone who isn't contributing I think that's better than leaving them towards the end like Tommy said.

Also, AirC IK you and DBD are now mortal enemies, but who else do you think might be scum with them now cause its just been what feels like 2 days of you trying to fight one person
 
des asks a TON of questions, chats a lot, and will frequently engage in 1-on-1 conversations where you can't for a second assume prior knowledge. of those, maybe only the third has existed much at all in this game. otherwise des has been pretty different
