- Ogerpon-H is also capable of providing redirection allowing its allies to set up or position safely. Ogerpon-H is particularly good at redirecting Spore from Amoonguss due to type immunity.
- Ogerpon-H synergises well with Chien-Pao, since it can easily threaten Landorus and Tornadus, which Ogerpon-H is offensively threatened by due to their strong STABs. Ogerpon-H threatens Steel-types Chien-Pao struggles against such as Gholdengo and Kingambit. Chien Pao usually runs a Dark move. Additionally, mention that Ogerpon wants to maximize the damage that it does with Ivy Cudgel and that Pao in conjunction with the Ogerpon allows it to get OHKOs on neutral targets (Iron Hands is likely the most notable example, but there's several other cases -- chunking stuff with Heathflame tera + Pao also provides greater freedom to spam Ivy Cudgel since it KOs stuff like Ting Lu on the switch in.)
