been playing this meta a bit and i feel like we need to talk abt pawmot, after stat boosts it has 140/140/120 bulk which is insane as is, but then u can use revival blessing. now, most of the time ur only able to use revival blessing once, maybe twice if ur running leppa berry, but if u want to u can have what is essentially a bulkier iron hands using rest talk to get way more revival blessings. ive been running it with a stall team, and have won games with this team that i shouldnt have won under any circumstances purely because pawmot's presence on the team allows me to not care abt my other team members dying as long as the ones left over allow me to get pawmot in so it can spam revival blessings. essentially, its stall except i dont need to focus on actually knowing what im doing, i can just wall shit and if something dies i can probably revive it later with pawmot anyway. idk what u all think abt this, i just wanted to bring up pawmot as smth that i think might need to be looked at.

BNB STUFF:
Preface: I believe in Taunt and Knock Off being two of the best moves in the metagame, and I have never loaded Koraidon* or Toxapex despite ranking them among the best Pokemon in the format.

S
:flutter mane: Offensively counters Koraidon. The amount of bulk Flutter Mane gains makes it decently fat on both ends, while still being the special powerhouse it always is. Being 135 Speed is annoying when you get Taunted by opposing Skarmory, but with the help of Sun support whether from your own Koraidon or an opposing Koraidon, you can get the Taunt off on opposing Skarmory first (also preventing Whirlwind). Taunt + Calm Mind + STABs is the strongest set in my opinion, with Ghost Fairy being unresisted and Taunt denying a lot of the defensive counterplay. While Flutter does lack recovery, it can be used on essentially any team structure while also acting a spinblocker.

A
:koraidon: Unparalled breaker, can be SD sweeper or enable its teammates with sun. Pretty self-explantory. Checked by Pex and also enables opposing Flutter Mane, which is really annoying, so it's not in S.
:toxapex: Really really fat with the HP boost, however, it can struggle into Taunt, Substitute, Poison Heal, Magic Guard, etc. Lack of Scald hurts a little bit but it's still the same old fatass we know and hate.
:pawmot: Also really really fat but with WishPassing instead of Regenerator, as well as nifty tools in Knock Off, Volt Switch, and Revival Blessing. Pretty cool, and also checks itself by preventing opposing Pawmot from using Volt Switch if you run Volt Absorb (which also synergizes with Tera Flying). HOWEVER, IT'S NOT BROKEN. Since I don't want to write another post, I'll address Ban Pawmot here. I am DNB. This thing is not broken. It is extremely limited by 4MSS (Focus Blast (or Close Combat), Thunderbolt (or Double Shock), Volt Switch, Knock Off, Wish, Protect, Revival Blessing, Encore, Body Press, Tera Blast (????)). Let's divide Pawmot into two subcategories: Offensive and Defensive. For Offensive, let's split again, into physical and special. Physical probably runs CC, Double Shock, Knock Off, and Encore, maybe throw in a Volt Switch if you want. Special is Focus Blast, Volt Switch, and then probably Thunderbolt + Revival Blessing, but you can mix it up. Defensive is defined as Wish, and pick out of Volt Switch, Knock Off, Body Press, Protect, and Revival Blessing, which is still a lot of options. My favorite is Volt Switch, Wish, Knock Off, Protect. But regardless, here's the issue. You're not fitting coverage. Offensively, Clodsire hard walls you, Brambleghast is excellent into you, but most importantly - you don't hit hard enough. Whether we're talking about your pitiful 115 Atk stat (pitiful for this fatass meta) or your 140 SpAtk relying on Focus Miss and 90BP move, this meta is filled with mons with 120+ in both defensive stats. You don't really hit hard enough to justify running fully offensive without some sort of longevity (with life orb exacerbating the lack of longevity, and you don't really want a choice item so then you run boots and you're even weaker). So now let's discuss defensive. Defensively, you're just so passive. Revival Blessing is cool and all, but first, I am not a believer in Leppa Berry, with the removal situation as dire as it is, I don't think running non-Boots on defensive is a good idea. Besides, in longer, drawn-out games, the more important game is hazard-removal, and Revival Blessing only grants a slight advantage in that your opponent can't rush to take a one for one trade with no repercussion. Besides, you have to give up a valuable moveslot for revbless. Overall, I think Pawmot is a really excellent defensive glue mon that's healthy for the meta, and thus, DNB (yes, I'm aware, there's no suspect yet, but I'm making my thoughts as a council member clear, especially if we have a vote on Pawmot).
:persian-alola: I know this is ranked a little bit high but I just love using this Pokemon so much. Knock, Foul Play, Taunt, Parting Shot, Roar, Thunder Wave, and more, this is so good as a physical wall and really good at dealing with pretty much any non-Koraidon/Zac physical attacker pre-Tera.
:deoxys: Epic 150 Speed Taunt go brrrrr. Recovery, Spikes, Knock, good damage output, Taunt, etc, Deoxys is really good as a support Pokemon surprisingly... Or.... CHOICE SPECS PSYCHO BOOST GO GO GO
:skarmory: A little passive at times, but 140 Speed Taunt goes a long way (not as long as 150 Speed Taunt though), and Spikes + Recovery + good typing is just always good when you're this fat
:weezing-galar: Neutralizing Gas my goat, undeniable Toxic Spikes, decently fast Haze, Fairy-typing, Defog, undeniable Toxic, what more could you want?

B
:brambleghast: This is the best Rapid Spinner of the tier, doubling as a spinblocker and tripling as a Spikes setter. This is what we call true hazard control. However, it is flawed in that pretty much 3 of its moves are already known (Rapid Spin, Spikes, Strength Sap), and the 4th move being a choice between something like Poltergeist/Power Whip/Curse. Poltergeist is usually a good move, but when you're running Spikes, you're typically running it alongside Knock Off to remove Heavy-Duty Boots, which just disables your only source of damage. Power Whip is just a gambling simulator and is resisted by half the tier, and Curse, is well, Curse, getting rid of 50% of your own HP is typically not good. Shadow Ball maybe, but Bramble is just fundamentally flawed, so despite having so many positive traits, it's ranked in B-tier.
:clodsire: Fat Unaware/Water Absorb Ground-type is always welcome. Blocks Volt Switch, blocks Flip Turn with Water Absorb (prevents Wishpassing from Pawmot and Alomomola), while still being extremely fat and being able to both Toxic and set up the flavor of hazard of your choice. It can also absorb Toxic Spikes! Clodsire is just so nice.
:zacian-crowned: Above the coveted 140 Speed tier, Zacian-C is just the same offensive powerhouse it always is, although it can struggle into some of the best walls (SkarmPex) unless it runs Wild Charge (Behemoth Blade Wild Charge Close Combat?), but it can run a lot of flavors of coverage but in the end, it just isn't as strong as it usually is because of the general fatness of the meta.
:clefairy: In this fat-based meta, Clefairy is nice for Magic Guard, allowing it to freely run around without Heavy-Duty Boots and act as the Knock Off absorber on Heavy-Duty Boots-spam teams that lack removal. It also gets a Knock Off of its own, Stealth Rock, and various other tools, and being a Fairy-type is always nice.
:ho-oh: The same special wall we've ever known, except in a meta where it struggles more than usual. It still does Ho-oh things, but less well than usual.
:iron hands: It gets faster and can run Booster Speed, behind something like Screens, it can run SD or Belly Drum and start punching (heh) holes in the opposing team, matching well into the common walls in Alolan Persian, Skarmory, and Toxapex.
:ditto: This might be surprising to some of you, but I really like Ditto in this meta, because it technically has infinite PP if you keep switching, which is nice for the fat vs fat matchups, and you can steal Regenerators and scout for opposing lures really easily while punishing big setup sweepers like Zacian-C. Not many people look at their Ditto matchup, which is why I rank Ditto so high, although now that people have seen this, my Ditto usage will probably drop.
:breloom: Poison Heal is nice alonside increased bulk, Bulk Up can sweep, but extremely vulnerable to ngas and doesn't do that much damage. 4MSS hurts asw b/c like, what, setup move/tect/fighting move/grass move/rock move/idk? typing is not great either, although tera solves and tera breloom can clean games sometimes.
:deoxys-defense: certified fatass, although I rank it lower than the other Deoxys just because of how important I think fast Taunt is. Deoxys-Defense can be easily denied by Taunt, although it can still click Knock Off and Seismic Toss, but in no Taunt situations, Deoxys-Defense is so good. The ability of Taunt to just deny Deoxys-Defense's recovery is just the reason why it's ranked so low, compared to something like Toxapex which can also get Taunted but can still heal through Regenerator.
:calyrex-ice: Surprisingly good Choice Scarf user, can struggle into Skarmory but Glacial Lance is the same broken move we've always known and it can outspeed the coveted 140 speed tier (and even 150) even with Adamant, which lets you snipe mons like Koraidon. Just decent fat breaker with the ability to revenge kill. Also SD is the same strong set it always is, I could see Double Dance working.
:necrozma-dusk-mane: Steels are valuable in this meta, and so are fat ones that can stallbreak with Dragon Dance + Photon Geyser + Sunsteel Strike to just completely ignore Unaware or Fur Coat. You can vary your sets to deal with different walls (idk Tera Fire Tera Blast to dodge burn and hit opposing Steels like Skarmory), or Stone Edge for Ho-oh, etc.
:gouging fire: Strong sun breaker, I may be slightly overrating it but it just hits so damn hard. The amount of set up needed is annoying but being able to 2HKO Blissey as a special attacker is always nice.

Overrated/Underrated:
Overrated: :koraidon::toxapex:
While I did rank Koraidon and Toxapex among the best Pokemon in the tier, I don't think they are nearly as ubiquitous as others might believe, which is why they're not S tier.
Underrated: :persian-alola:Alolan-Persian is just so good at being a blanket physical wall. I mentioned it struggling against Koraidon/Zacian-C, but even then, seriously, what the fuck why is it so bulky (+2 252 Atk Orichalcum Pulse Koraidon Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Fur Coat Persian-Alola: 342-404 (73.8 - 87.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO, +3 252 Atk Tera Fighting Zacian-Crowned Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Fur Coat Persian-Alola: 348-410 (75.1 - 88.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO), and you have so many options to respond with (Thunder Wave, Roar, Foul Play, Play Rough for Koraidon, etc.). This thing is just so fat, especially alongside Pawmot, where you can invest in SpDef for Pawmot and WishPass to Persian, forming an extremely tanky defensive core.
Overrated: :deoxys-defense:I think Deoxys-Defense can just be underwhelming at times, since, like I previously mentioned, Taunt almost completely shuts it down. When you're Taunted you can only click Knock Off or Seismic Toss, and half the time you only have one of those moves (you want Spikes Recover Teleport), and my belief is that Taunt is one of the best moves in the meta so being so Taunt-weak is bad.
Underrated: :deoxys:Deoxys has such a precious speed tier at 150. This is cool for two reasons. 1. you beat out people speed-creeping Zacian-C. 2. FAST TAUNT MY GOAT. You are actually able to Taunt Pokemon like Skarmory. Overall, Deoxys is just so versatile. It can be hazard setter with Spikes, Knock, etc., general utility with Recover, Knock Off, and Taunt, or an offensive powerhouse (special or mixed).
Overrated: :zacian-crowned: As much as I love to glaze Zacian, in this incredibly fat meta, I don't think its damage is enough. Take some of the best physical walls: Unaware Clodsire, Skarmory, Toxapex (and Tera APersian). Unaware Clodsire stops it completely in its tracks, Skarmory just Whirlwinds and you lose your one-time Attack boost, Toxapex just starts Hazing, and Tera APersian easily lives 2 hits and Foul Plays back. You can also look at things like Brambleghast who just Strength Sap + Poltergeist you or something like that. Now, Zacian-C is still good, extremely good. However, in my eyes, it's not worth A-tier just because it's not that hard to force it out and vastly reduce its breaking power.
Underrated: :clefairy:I think Magic Guard is just worth so much with removal options being so poor and Knock + hazards being the ubiquitous strategy it always is, so being able to absorb Knock Off and prevent teammates' boots from getting removed is just so nice. Being a Fairy-type and also having a Knock Off of its own are really nice assets to have.
Overrated: :mienshao: D-tier imo. Sure, you get Regenerator, bulk, and Knock Off + decently strong Fighting-type attacks + pivoting, but tbh, I rarely see a reason to use this over Pawmot. It just feels 99% outclassed, with Regenerator instead of Wish but having to switch out to heal. I think RegenVest is the most common set, and at that point, it's just, why? You're basically tickling your opponents if you're uninvested in this fatass meta, and you just do nothing to common Pokemon such as Skarmory, Toxapex, and Galarian Weezing. If you want a Knock Off bot, you have better options, trust me.
Underrated: :ditto: Just to elaborate more on my points, Ditto is nice into meta threats like SD Koraidon and SD Zacian-C, as well as being able to scout out sets and provide "infinite" PP in more stretched out games. Being able to just shut down so many options just by your sheer presence is so good (i.e. prevent your opponent from ever setting up SD with Zacian-C and having more of a safety net when it comes to reads). Lack of improofing also makes Ditto so much better; a HO team reliant on constant pressure and not allowing an opposing Zacian-C to set up Swords Dance might just fold into the Ditto matchup.

Week 1: Act W vs GhostlyPlanets

Week 2: W vs Awesome me 1233

W
To break down this team, I wanted to use Alolan Persian + Flutter Mane hazard stack (with both being able to run broken move Taunt), with Alolan Persian sponging physical hits and Flutter Mane being a CM win-con while also being specially bulky. Tera Fire on Alolan Persian was cool for stuff like Zac-C and a Fire resist in a pinch against Sun. I could've ran something like Tera Fairy or Tera Ghost, but I didn't like how the former made me weak to Behemoth Blade and how the latter lacked resistances. For Flutter Mane, Tera Water was just generally nice, such as resisting Flare Blitz from Koraidon, Sacred Fire from Ho-oh, and various other Fire-type moves. Flutter Mane can absolutely demolish opposing Sun teams, which is really nice. However, since I was running both Alolan Persian and Flutter Mane without recovery, I needed a Wish passer, which was originally Alomomola, but I found that a lot of the time, Alomomola was just too fast to successfully pass Wish, so I switched to minspeed Pawmot, which, for the sacrifice of less HP than Mola (and therefore less Wish HP) and the lack of a Regenerator user, gave me a 2nd Knock Off user and way more bulk. I ran SpDef because Alolan Persian was already fat enough on the physical side, and I ran Tera Flying to dodge Ground-type moves in a pinch, as well as gain immunity to Spikes to act as a pseudo-Knock absorber, as this team lacked removal. I then wanted a reliable Spikes setter, so I just slapped in Clodsire and called it a day, with Tera Dark to gain immunity to Psychic-type moves. I built this team during Araquanid meta; however, now, maybe you can switch to Unaware, but being immune to things like Water Spout Kyogre and random Flip Turn mons (i.e. Alomomola) as well as not ignoring SpAtk drops from Overheat and similar moves is nice. Then, there's Blissey, who is pretty much just here to set up Stealth Rock, click Heal Bell, and call it a day. Toxic from things like Toxapex can be annoying, especially on non-Water Absorb Clodsire versions of the team, so Blissey is here to stop Toxic from ruining your day. Other than that, it just does Blissey things, except it's not the absolute end of all special attackers anymore (i.e. Modest Choice Specs Gouging Fire easily 2HKOes in Sun). Lastly, I slapped on Deoxys, who is nice for 150 Speed Taunt (notably beating out Skarmory), as well as a 3rd Knock Off user, and while uninvested, Psycho Boost still does big damage.
This game was honestly played pretty poorly by me. In this mu, Flutter Mane is incredibly strong, so I lead off with it into Koraidon and set up CM, then using the Booster Speed Koraidon gave me to become faster and Taunt the 0attack Skarmory. After that, I CM again, kill the Bellsprout, and correctly read Tera Fire on Koraidon. However, I should've Tera Water'd, as Flutter Mane pretty much just ran through the entire remaining team (other than First Impression Vibrava), and I could've preserved it after taking out Koraidon to Wishpass to it later. Now, Gouging Fire became a huge problem, since I didn't exactly have a switch-in. I stall one turn of Sun, then let it kill my Blissey. I go Clodsire into Gouging after Sun runs out, and, expecting a switch into Skarmory, double into Deoxys to Taunt it. However, my opponent switches into Vibrava, and I don't really know why I went Pawmot, I probably expected U-turn, but my opponent clicked First Impression reading Alolan Persian. However, Pawmot easily tanks that, and I correctly read the Pawmot switching in by doubling to Deoxys. Now I read the Skarmory switch-in by Taunting, then Knocking the incoming Vibrava, which then just U-turns out on my Alolan Persian. At this point, we do some shuffling around and I'm just waiting for the Revival Blessing to hit until I misclick on Turn 23 and let my Deoxys die to First Impression. Oops! At this point, I have to find a way to get my Persian healthy again, and I do that by passing Wish while its attack was lowered by Parting Shot. More switching ensues, I make a weird Persian switch into Pawmot and get bailed out by Focus miss, and we do some more pivoting until Koraidon gets revived, after which it takes Spikes chip and a Knock Off from Pawmot. Here, I just focus on getting another Spike up, as the third Spike would effectively kill Koraidon. I manage to do that, then end up sacrificing Clodsire, then Terastallizing my Pawmot and ending up in an endgame position where I think my opponent makes a mistake by clicking Draco Meteor instead of Fire Blast, and I'm not sure what would've happened if Fire Blast had been clicked.

W
This team is pretty simple, just all out screens Hyper Offence before Spore got banned. Morgrem screens setter is self-explanatory, Flutter Mane is the same set from the previous team, Espeon is walled by Steels but is compensated for by Fighting+Ground+Fighting on the other side of the team, and CM + Pnoise is cool. Stored Power could be used but I prefer immediate power and denying recovery is very valuable. Espeon fucks with traditional anti-setup like Taunt/WW/Roar, but is still stopped by Haze which was uncommon at the time. Iron Hands was very straight forward Belly Drum set, Ursaluna-BM was a funny set I theorycrafted for a SD + Taunt pseudo-status absorber stallbreaker, it doesn't work very well in practice but it's pretty funny, especially as a lure for those expecting special attacks incoming. Breloom is standard set with Sedge to OHKO Ho-oh while unboosted.

The game was pretty simple, Espeon nearly ran away with the game and Flutter Mane just had to clean up. Again, Flutter is just so strong into Sun.

Week 3: W vs Jumpheart
W
I loaded the exact same team as last week and it worked out. After taking an early KO on Calyrex-Ice with Alolan Persian, I sacrificed Blissey to get Stealth Rock up, used Clodsire to wall Araquanid, got up 3 Spikes, and it was pretty much over already.

W
Again, I loaded the exact same team as last week. I set up screens, did some funny stuff with Ursaluna, and ggwp.

Week 4: W vs shreyashhy
W
This was a pretty wack team, with hstack without a spinblocker. Fortunately for me, I just so happen to load into no removal (removal in this economy?). I started off with Galarian Weezing, since it is undeniable that undeniable (please laugh) Toxic Spikes are good. Haze is really good, Strange Steam hits things like Koraidon, and Defog is the only removal for the team (really meant the most for Metagross/Ditto). Alolan Persian has been really good for me, so I just ran my usual set. Then, I put in Deoxys. You might be thinking: "Are you insane? No Psychic-type moves?" The answer to both of those questions is yes. Spikes are really good, Knock Off and Taunt are broken, and Recover is needed for longevity. Besides, just the threat of Psycho Boost is enough to force a lot of Pokemon out, although now that I've posted this, the surprise factor goes away. Clefairy is the certified Knock Off absorber of the team, Magic Guard is epic, yada yada yada, Knock Off broken, Stealth Rock good, and the STAB and recovery and you have a set that came straight out of the sweatshops. Then, you have Metagross who is funny in that I made a horrible set with the only Steel STAB being Heavy Slam into an Ubers based meta with like Zac-C running around where the BP is 40, so next time, definitely switch out a move for Meteor Mash. It's here to pretend that the team can actually do damage (spoiler alert: it did nothing). Ditto is just a cool mon on these types of teams, you get scouting, stealing Regenerators for longevity, and preventing something like SD Zac-C from running over you.
My mindset going into the game seeing no removal was just to spam hazards and Knock Off, stacking Toxic Spikes really early, Knocking Alomomola, and then having no switch-in into Tera Fire Zacian-C. Wait that's not a good thing... anyways, I'm forced into commiting Tera on Ditto to try to revenge kill Zac, with both of us doing around 50. I was probably supposed to click Play Rough but I just didn't really want to gamble the miss. I get some chip on Alomomola, do some switching, and HWISH WITH DITTO TO PREVENT WISH PASS BOOOM. I go to Clefairy to set up Stealth Rock so that Zac is effectively dead unless Alomomola gets Healing Wish off into it. I then start Knocking and setting up Spikes, take out Koraidon with a Moonblast, wall the fuck out of Deo with Alolan Persian, and top it all off with Taunting the Alomomola so it can't pass Healing Wish to Zac (which applies before hazards and therefore would let it live).

L
I'm not even going to try to justify this team, this shit was hot ass. You've got Thwackey and THREE FUCKING GRASSY SEED USERS. Zekrom is here for undeniable Stealth Rock + Bolt Strike being really good into this meta. Then you got certified goodmon Espeon, certified fraudsweeper Deo, and certified fraudmon Drifblim. Yeah I don't know what I was cooking. Drifblim speed for Unburden outspeeding 150. Then you have Choice Scarf Calyrex Ice who I don't even know why is here, I really should've just gotten something for various Steel- and Dark-types but I was just like "ehhh those don't exist".
I just got absolutely shit on by Tera Steel Galarian Weezing. That thing absolutely cooked, sizzled, toasted, charred, burnt, roasted, and boiled me in every single way. It was faster than Espeon, so it could haze it, I fucked up my plays with Deoxys, which was pretty much my only out (I probably should've Terastallized when I clicked Focus Blast), Drifblim and Ursaluna just both completely walled each other, Zekrom didn't do anything, and Calyrex was just there for the vibes. In fairness, Tera Steel Gweezing is one of the worst matchups for this team (especially because this team is so ass), but yeah. This was a very convincing loss.

W
I'm not gonna lie, that loss had be a little tilted. So I went back to basics. And loaded Flutter Mane + Alolan Persian hstack. For the 3rd time in 3 rounds. And guess what I load into - the Sun sample . The early game was nothing special, I was in a really good position with Flutter Mane and had a 50/50 on Taunt/Sball vs Taunt/WW. If I clicked Taunt into WW, I might've just won on the spot, but I misread so rip. After some more pivoting and slow progress, I sacrifice Clodsire to the Bellsprout Overlords and get a chance to win with Flutter Mane - except I miss the Tera button and I take 93 instead of 46 from the Gouging Fire. At this point, Moonblast does not kill Gouging Fire, so I waas really surprised when my opponent switched out. But after some more shuffling, I managed to use Deoxys to grab crucial KOs and get 2 really important taunts onto Pawmot, and Tera Ghost Blissey sealed the deal.

Week 5: L vs commanderawesome
I'm not gonna lie, I had a huge headache while playing these games (was feeling a little sick), so you'll see some shitty plays and questionable loads from me. That being said, it's no excuse though, and doesn't change the fact that I lost to a more deserving player.
W

This is just a different take on the normal Flutter hstack I always spam, except with Clefairy and Ditto as cool alternatives. You lose out on cool Deo fast Taunt, but you get a consistent Knock Off absorber and Ditto. Ditto is in a weird place because Heavy-Duty Boots is really wanted, but you pretty much are forced into running Choice Scarf. I could try Boots in the future though.
Once I saw Taunt-less Skarmory in this matchup, I pretty much knew it was just a matter of time before I was able to set up Flutter Mane and win.

L more like shitter zweilous webs

Yet another shitty team that I can't justify. I was trying out webs on ladder and realized how ass this team was, but I kept it in my builder for experimental reasons, and wouldn't you know it - my dumbass accidentally loads this team. This team was never meant to see the light of day, and now I'm sending it to the deepest pits of hell. This is just Webs + Generic 5 Attackers simulator, with one of them being FOCUS ENERGY ZWEILOUS. Seriously, what the fuck was I doing?????
Surprise, surprise. It was easy to beat this shitty team! Crawdaunt almost went off, I forgot that my opponent switched clod out of Craw earlier meaning it was unaware and not water absorb, so I clicked Knock Off like a braindead idiot thinking that they were just Water Absorb hoping I pressed Crabhammer, the obvious move. Then, Zweilous hit like a wet noodle on Blissey, setup sweepers got farmed by Sableye, and Flutter Mane had potential to win if the Toxic Spike hadn't been set up early game, but it was, so rip.

L

I really tried to load this team again, huh? I should've just realized that commanderawesome was likely loading the same team again, which was quite a rough matchup given the plethora of Knock Off users in tandem with hazards with a Breloom to completely fullstop Clodsire. I then continued to play poorly, sacrificing Deoxys for next to no reason when I still needed it for Breloom, let everything get Knocked, and my only hope in the endgame was to pray Breloom wasn't max Speed and Flutter was faster, but it was not to be. Perhaps if I Shadow Balled Mandibuzz predicting Tera Steel, I could've won, but I was not in the headspace to make reads like that, so gg.

Week 8b: W vs wisteriapurple
W
This was just a hard cteam vs wisp, webs sinistcha pmuch just 6-0d on preview and i just added dug to really make sure sinistcha could sweep (sinistcha basically lived a hit from everything, outsped everything with webs support, spinblocked tusk, and ohkoed basically everything it needed 2 at +2 with tera - also ohkoed sylveon post-rocks and did enough to LO pawmot. I played a mock game where I just only brought 3 Pokemon (first 3 on the paste) and still won sooo.... yeah btw this does not count as loading Koraidon ok? I just put it on b/c the shiny is cool and i get to put the shiny sprite on my post.
My gameplan was flawless other than stupiding and forgetting I had Throat Chop on Dugtrio to just stop Hyper Voice on Sylveon (which is literally what I was trying to do when I put that on, as well as forgetting to set up Stealth Rock. But it's ok, Sinistcha is still the goat, and with some plays to make sure I didn't die on accident and praying for the 87.5% roll on Sylveon, it was ggwp.

W
Since Espeon was gone, I decided it was time for me to finally load Skarm for the first time. I paired it with Stealth Rock Vibrava which acts as the second Knock Off absorber, as this team actually lacks removal, making Heavy-Duty Boots extremely important. Notably, Vibrava can absorb Knock Off from Fire- and Electric-types like Salazzle, Pawmot, and idk Pikachu? Yeah, Vibrava does some cool things with Rocks + Dtail, although with Espeon out maybe I should just stick to Outrage to hit Koraidon. Flutter + APersian + Pawmot is a core I spam a lot, no need to explain, and Gweeze really helps out the MU against things like Magic Guard/Poison Heal, asw as defensively checking Koraidon and adding a second switchin to Toxic. Oh, and side note: I finally decided to start nicknaming Pokemon this far into the tour, let's go Arctic Monkeys.
I just started with Skarm setting up Spikes, getting a lucky dodge with Pawmot, and just pivoting around until I get Flutter in, which brings in Zac from wisp which I promptly switch out of (and thus making future Zac switchins not get Intrepid Sword). Play Rough is revealed, which I'm surprised by because previously wisp's Zac was almost always Behemoth + Tblast + Wild Charge, so now I think Wild Charge is dropped until wisp SDs and Wild Charges, getting rid of my main hazard setter. I go to Alolan Persian, who tanks Play Rough extremely well and nearly drops Zac with Foul Play, but I'm forced into committing tera to stop Zac from sweeping. I then carelessly throw away Persian for Knocking Alomomola's boots when I could've healed it up later with Pawmot's Wish, but it was okay because I could go straight into flutter. Wisp pivots into Koraidon, which is scarfed, so I hard switch vibrava as a semi-sac, reading Tera Fire Flare Blitz. I am correct, and get the switch into Gweezing for free which avoids the 2HKO. In fear of recoil, Wisp switches out and I get up Tspikes. I hard switch Pawmot on Wish, getting ready to Protect to deny Wishpassing to Koraidon, but Wisp hards into Tusk instead. I then scout out Tusk, hard switch Flutter predicting Rapid Spin, and pivoting around until Koraidon is almost the only way to handle Flutter. I then use Gweezing to handle Koraidon, get up the second Tspike, and set up Flutter Mane, which is then able to force in Alomomola. I hard switch into Pawmot, as I don't want to allow Sylveon in for the Quick Attack vs Hyper Voice mind game, so I just take the slow but safe road and WishPass into Flutter and win.

Week 9a: L vs anaconja
I started losing steam at this point and underprepped, my teams are sort of bad now. Also double TheFatRat nicknames for this week b/c why not.
L
I thought Alcremie was a cool idea as a wincon that couldn't be taunted. Weak to poison/steel->added clodsire, spikes, so also added clef/persian for koff and rocks from clef, and im just a fan of persian. I decided that this was sort of passive so I just went full stall mode, and since I wanted to run boots ditto, I slapped Twave on persian over taunt and added farigiraf as a secondary twaver that could also give persian wish. as for why i picked it over pawmot... ngl i dont really know prolly something something not weak to fairy/ground. i had a better reason that I forgot lmao
This matchup was terrible - not one, not two, but THREE FUCKING STEEL-TYPES. Clod can EQ, Persian can Knock, and Ditto can be Ditto, but other than that, I lack a way to deal damage to them. Extremely rough matchup, especially when Bisharp is IDEF SD SUB like wtf do I do. The game is just a lot of positioning with hazards/Ditto, some tomfoolery with Bisharp's wack set vs Clod + Ditto. After some more positioning, I decide that I have to go for the win with Alcremie, but with it being paralyzed, things were looking dim and ultimately after the crit there was no way to play anymore. I put up a fight for another 50 turns but it's just over.

This team was... certainly something. the team name is deceiving - it isn't just crackhead flutter, it's crackhead team. This team suck ass. well not as much as the zweilous webs or the gterrain team, but it's still pretty bad. It's playable for sure though. It revolves around using Skarm/Persian/Pawmot/Gweeze to chip enough so that Zekrom can sweep. I used to use tblast fairy but excadrill was a tough mu so i swapped to tblast fire. Flutter does some weird shit can trap something psong taunt memento whatever, other stuff is pretty generic build on my part.
the game was pretty short because I cannot win longevity vs stall so i had to early memento with flutter and pray zekrom could win, it probably wouldnt but bolt strike miss sealed the deal.

Welp, that's how my BnB tournament run ends. Thanks to Snaq for hosting, s/o happysh, pecha nerd, bobsican, zxgzxg for testing (sorry if I forgot anyone). Would ping if I had won, but it is what it is. I had my highs and lows throughout, made good plays and bad plays, loaded good teams and bad teams, and I do regret that I wasn't the most locked in and think I had the potential to win it all, but regardless, I had fun in this tournament which matters the most, and now I'm on the council which is cool.

Happy Mother's Day to anyone still in valid timezones, this was a nice 500th post. Have fun with BnB! I hope, despite some outdated teams (espeon) and potentially inaccurate information (i'm not perfect), you were able to learn something about this tier and get more of a feel for it. and gl to anaconja for rest of tour, i hope you win this!

just won the kickoff tour so ill be dumping my teams

big personality goth gf (win r1g1)

being pretty new to bnb i didnt know super well where to start but i spotted some brokens immediately - fat stag, fat revbless, and pressure setup. so i kinda just slapped them all on a team since i was facing John "uses stall teams" and it did about as well as youd expect.

Webbers!

goth version (win r1g2)

i had built something like this before the tour got announced (i think there was ursaluna over goth maybe) but threw goth on to be funny since stag is broke. it definitely did its job well removing the pex so i could later sweep with pikachu.

gambit version (loss r3g1)

yeah this is p bad, had nothing for fast skarm

stall (win r2g1, r2g3, r4g2, r7g2; loss r3g2)

another team i built before the tour, its pretty good except the absolutely glaring psychic weakness. also i wasnt dark clod when i played hisui region so i got owned by stored power

Fuegooooooooooooooo (loss r2g2)

idt this team is very good, has way too many weaknesses to like ghost and fairy and whatnot. i lost to fire blast miss against maushold of all things though

John Salt (win r4g1, r6g2)

classic spike stack. sd spikes skarm takes lives. no hazard removal hurts a little though and probably has a tough time vs like dondozo stall. maybe you can replace espeon with something that does both idk

CHEETO'S GLORIOUS RETURN (win r6g1)

ppl who know me know i loove paraspam. so when i saw cramorant as a decent defogger i knew what i had to do. snivy can deal fast glares along with sableye for pikachu/calyi/snivy itself to profit from. i also discovered perrserker as a pretty good mane check that also has sr and uturn.

Fuegooooooooooooooo 2 (win r7g1)

this is a way better version post-espeon, with fmane a secondary speed control and hooh as a wallbreaker over chiyu because it also has defensive utility. i figured bulbasaur is better than bellsprout bc while it drops 10 spa it also gets way higher special bulk and slightly higher spe which allows it to beat something like mane better. also theres perrserker

at this point i realized i had a pretty good shot of winning the tour so i actually locked in and started making dedicated cteams to ppl.

REAL STEEL (win r9g1)

so scouting dragonphoenix i discovered their 6 hdb team which had intimidating guys like taunt cm mane, mixed deoxys, and knock persian. so i devised triple steel to definitely handle mane/deoxys - drill removes hazard spretty well, tink sets rocks while stealing boots on knocks, and you know bisharp. also alcremie is there to setup on mane (i was really concerned about mane). also idef bisharp is sooo funny bc you setup on imposter
☆DragonPhoenix333: yo wtf
☆DragonPhoenix333: sd idef ihead sub
☆DragonPhoenix333: what is hi set
FSmash_Steve: gamer

new stall just dropped (win r9g2, r10g1)

this one was built more for ho teams which have stuff like koraidon, sinistcha, and deoxys. rain + weezing ensures koraidon never gets off the ground, while deod walls deon and blissey walls sinistcha. i also used eq to reliably hit zekrom and avalanche to somewhat reliably hit koraidon. it got pretty scary with zekrom in round 9 regardless and i shouldve tried something like ground dondozo instead, but did just fine in round 10.

new ho just dropped (win r10g2)

scouting alex found that they used the sun sample like a billion times so i just hard countered it with hat for no atks skarm and kyogre to reset weather while mane/koraidon/groundceus could sweep. deoxys is also there to set spikes or something

Chess Type Beat (Chopped, Crunched, Pressure Cooked) (win finals g1)

looking at commanders teams they mostly used either stall with clod+blissey+mandibuzz or some weird offense with trickscarf ribombee but also blissey again. so i theorymonned psong mane to lure in those passive guys and eliminate them for bisharp to sweep in the late game. i blundered it though by guessing blissey was sball when it was actually stoss but PIPI was able to get a surprise kill on pex to seal the game.

Spike Stack If It Was Good (win finals g2)

gliscor is a really weird mon in that it sucks into literally everything except if you load into passive unmons like clod/pex if you tera where it does pretty great. corviknight is if you had traded ground weakness on bisharp for prank vulnerability so i think its a good bit worse unfortunately. maybe if you know the opp isnt bringing sab

CHEETO'S GLORIOUS RETURN 2 (win finals g3)

figuring commander would try to bring something to beat pressure stall i switched it up back to paraspam. servine has good upsides over snivy in higher base hp to be able to sub on stoss spammers and much higher spa so its a lot more threatening. you do have to be more careful bc im p sure it has less bulk and the much lower spe also makes it more risky to send it in without opps being paralyzed beforehand. hoopau is a pretty silly coverage machine that takes knocks and steals items. i also put taunt on calyi to stop haze pex and replaced perrserker with diao to check kyogre harder. of course none of my 3am prep really turned out as expected since they brought frosmoth/mightyena instead, but at least hoopau intimidated the latter enough not to set up.

Revbless 2 (Electric Boogaloo) (win finals g4)

coming off of previous stall teams i wanted to make something that could trade easily with the opponent and then get revived by pawmot. this was actually edited from a previous team that had stuff like rampardos but i found in calcs that its a bit too inconsistent breaking walls to be very useful. primeape and ursaluna are great trade machines with their overwhelming attacks but susceptability to chip. weezingg/skarm/pex round out the defensive core, with weezing disabling breloom/gliscor and skarm stallbreaking through stuff like clod/dondozo/other pex (you should probably run brave bird though this thing is piss weak), and pex to get stuff like mane while midgrounding stuff like choice koraidon/kyogre. the game itself was super anticlimatic though as the opponent had nothing for primeape

overall it was a fun tour and interesting metagame, its very wacky how many things you can viably run. shoutouts Snaquaza for hosting and TOHO BOSSA NOVA for calming my nerves during matches

I made a pokedex for this a while ago, forgot to upload it
Not to be an ass, but is there possibly another link of this spreadsheet which can be copied and editable, as it has a bunch of Megas and Nat Dex mons that aren't in Gen 9. As well as some alternate forms like Hisuian mons stats not being correctly in line with their base stats. Please?

After playing a bit i feel like this is one of those metas where Flutter Mane is allowed but really shouldn't. It feels way harder to exploit because of it's huge bulk gains and it can beat most if not all of it's checks with the right variant. I also think there may be something to say about Revival Blessing but that one might honestly just be me getting skill issued a few times by restalk Pawmot.

I can agree with Flutter Mane being broken, it has a lot of sets with different checks and you can never really know what it's doing. For example, you think it's CM and click Taunt with Skarmory but then it nukes you with Specs Mystical Fire

As for Pawmot, IMO Revival Blessing is ass and makes Pawmot very easy to exploit. I played against that RestTalk Rev Blessing Pawmot today and it was really just a dead slot in exchange for reviving something twice. I feel like the best use for Rev Blessing on Stall teams is as a crutch to compensate for mistakes, like losing an important mon, but if you actually play well you don't need any crutches. Rev Blessing might be better on offensive teams (for example saccing Koraidon to break something and then reviving it) but it's still a dead slot and only serves to help other mons. If you can deal with whatever offensive threat once, you can probably do it again ngl.

As for Koraidon, it's slower than the 140 speed mons and IMO is only good as a sun setter, where it is just clicking U-turn to support the sun sweepers.

Flutter Mane already failed a suspect test so unless something drastic changes in the meta, I don’t think it’s getting banned.

As much as I love stall, I believe it is far too viable and is choking the meta. Deoxys can Pressure stall, Toxapex walls almost everything and can go offensive with Poison Jab/Venoshock, Clefairy lessens the burden of hazards and easily Knocks Off everything, Skarmory, sets hazards and becomes extremely bulky, Ho-Oh is just Ho-Oh, Mienshao is the best AV Pokemon, Clodsire can become physically Unaware, Pawmot becomes a ridiculous Wishpasser, Ditto becomes way bulkier, etc.

I find this really funny

Leverages its new found bulk and power to basically be physical Zapdos. You could prolly change the evs around to make it more bulky, seeing how most speed tiers seem to be 130 or higher.

Rage fist and revival blessing has gotta go. Using up to 2 mons to remove a key threat from the opponent's team just for the opponent to just have pawmot bring them back for basically free is ridiculous. With leppa berry the opponent gets to bring back two pokemon. This OM boosts pawmot's bulk that OHKO'ing the mon is out of the question for most mons.

Primeape's bulk brings a similar issue that not much mons can deal with it cleanly without falling to rage fist. A problem further compounded by primeape being able to tera out of bad match ups. Heaven forbid the opponent runs both pawmot and primeape and just let primeape build rage fist stacks till it dies then bring it back later in the game where counters are dead or heavily chipped.

Like games are just baiting the opponent to tera and respond accordingly

While I do think there are certain Pokemon that people need to be prepared for in the builder, there are two Pokemon that I think are just uncompetitive as the tier currently stands.

:frosmoth: 140/130/120/125/90/130 This Pokemon under Tera is a menace. Thanks to Ice Scales and the increased bulk it can safely set up on a number of physical and special attackers and then sweep your team. With Tera (usually Water or Ground) to protect it both offensively and defensively, you are immediately in trouble if your best counter to it does not prepare for it to Tera.

:pawmot: 140/115/140/140/120/105 Not only does this Pokemon have one of the highest BSTs in the tier, but 140 HP wishes paired with excellent defenses, a strong STAB Body Press, and the threat of Revival Blessing makes this very hard to counter with how well it supports teams. I personally think Pawmot as a whole, and not the move Revival Blessing (which Rabsca would obviously not be able to use to the same effect) is the issue.

Something else probably worth keeping an eye on is Shed Tail. Both Sceptile and Orthworm appreciate the increase to bulk (and Orthworm also loves the increased Speed) allowing them both to pass off 140 HP substitutes to their allies. While probably not nearly as problematic as the other two mentioned here, they could easily pair with the above elements, as well as other aforementioned problems on stall teams, to make the format not as fun as it could be.

(Insert thing I lost to once) HAS TO GO ps this is for competitive i really don't care about you wanting to use something for fun you can save the "ahhh ig we cant use what we want to now" or the "why would i use a mon that doesn't gain from the om that ruins the point of the metagame" there is no bonus points for cool bad mons in this discussion

now that i got your attention I've noticed a wave of people complaining about bnb unjustifiably so im just gonna inform people on some very fundamental things. this is to help with the main ones i see the most
START WITH A BREAKING CORE
I keep seeing people send replays in the discord/smogon/om chat of them saying stall is op and the strongest mon on their team is a no attack invested clefairy. when u start with building trying to make these super fat teams you are going to end up lacking any sort of real breaking power and makes u auto lose to any sort of offense that can break stall since u cant out offense it at all and makes u lose stall mirrors because your so weak they have two knock absorbers so your whole team basically tickles the entire game then u say omg stall is unbreakable. trying to build with the what beats what mentality in mind the entire time makes you rely more on specific matchups and passive instead of starting with a solid core and then applying the what beats what's weak into my team later. a breaking core does not have to be offensive mons ofc but it needs to be mons that can force progress for example knock off + taunt mons while surely not getting a lot of kills just off those two moves alone will guarantee progress by giving chip and removing items like potential boots for hazards or passive recovery in leftovers. The most basic widespread between any metagame breaking core would be strong mon + future sight. Yk what switches into this... nothing(no Koraidon is not the only mon that can do it and no Koraidon isn't broken check next point)

+
1757013531280.png

CHECK RESOURCES
The amount of times i keep seeing people say this mon is broken while actively ignoring to see what checks it as all is ridiculous( not saying everyone if the shoe fits sorta deal). is Koraidon a very good mon in bnb? Of course i think you would be foolish to say no but also while saying that it literally has more checks than it does in ubers and it is fine there. Whenever your struggling with a mon even more so with mons like koraidon who are still the same exact mon in oms be sure to go into teambuilder, click this, and read it. I have noticed that some people in oms refuse to use a mon that doesnt directly benefit from an om even when they are entirely legal and good. You can always ask other rooms for more help( just dont say your doing it for oms n stuff and ask around it being a what room your in question so your not bothering them). Another option is youtubers like pinkacross who usually focus on ou but the advice generally applies to everywhere. The final and likely best option for quick response is just to ask for help instead of immediately complaining. ive been having wayy extra free time lately and there's usually some very good player active like pecha. Don't be scared to ask for help

DO NOT BUILD WITH TRYING TO FORCE HARD COUNTERS(most times)
Last thing i see a lot of people do very often which i already mentioned in a previous point is trying to make a team by putting a bunch of hard counters to mons to they think are threats. while hard counters can be used to patch teams trying to build a team around hard counters is entirely a match up fish and will lead you to being very weak into anything you are not hard countering. The best option is to have checks on your team that can generally cover everything. For example using Koraidon again is there any mon that hard counters it? With the exception of daschbun there is not but koraidon is far from unbeatable. Instead of daschbun you can have a bulky rocky helmet mon like toxapex that punishes koraidon for hitting it and will either trade or shrug off damage with its regen with maybe a potential tera fairy for scale shot/outrage. Another one would be weezing-galar a mon that can disable orichalcum pulse from activating and resist both koraidons stabs, but a lack of fully consistent recovery and/or tera fire on Koraidon can lead to koraidon being able to break thorugh weezing. You dont need to hard counter a mon you just need to check a mon enough to win before they do. Of course you cannot cover literally everything and there will always be a bad matchup for you occasionally but with a solid team there should be no match up that's unwinnable(stall as the slight expectation just bc the nature of it is inherently a match up fish)

A lot of text (pawmot and frosmoth)
been playing this format a bit with ladder start and for the most part i agree with Pawmot maybe being too much, I can't say too much for Moth as while it's stats + ability are exceptional i have opted to build with it as a defog pivot on my team, as i remember it being a decent application for the mon in PU and could work here; the boost to Attack means it can hit with a decently strong Leech Life for moveslot compression and healing, and if used alongside Slowking or Snow Warning, it's bulk can reach interplanetary levels even before any QD uses thanks to ice scales and the phys def + HP boosts from the format.

my main concern rn is with Pawmot. Simply put to me rn it appears too "convenient" to use in general and a god of role compression, with many solid applications and being quite easy to slap on offense, it's Wish passing merits in stall (and maybe outside of it?) have already been mentioned before in this thread but i believe it truly shines in various types of less bulkier offense archetypes (dunno about HO tho) where it ends up serving as a free 1-up mushroom to a crucial setter or abuser while still serving to nab momentum with Volt Switch and either high power STABs or wish passing. Leppa Berry RBlessing in "abusers offense" seems like the optimal application for it, but with the potential to supplement, or even forgo that, and compress roles such as a wish passer, fast pivot, or possibly even roles such as a mixed attacker (?!) with Tbolt + Press, I'm not sure if there are that many other pokémon in this format with such crazy versatility and i feel what we see rn could be just scratching the surface on this lil' critter, the only drawback i can think for it is that it may be a terrible tera user, but i could very well be wrong.

I've been using stall to great success, hitting rank 1 for a bit before falling off (on the account "the 2nd clawming"): eternal hell prison stall
Let me go over the team real quick:

:pawmot: @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Volt Absorb
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Revival Blessing
- Rest
- Discharge
- Sleep Talk

The star of the team. Defensive pawmot reaches insane level of bulk in BnB, standing at a whopping 140/140/120. This lets you use the forbidden strategy: RestTalk + Revival Blessing. Revival Blessing is supposed to be limited at 1 use per game (or 2 with leppa berry), but Sleep Talk is able to call it. In the real world, this is very difficult to abuse because Pawmot is not very tanky, but in BnB land, it's very easy to do. Volt Absorb over Natural Cure might seem like a strange choice, but it's actually inconvenient to wake up whenever you switch out for the intended purpose of Sleep Talking into Revival Blessing. It also lets you prevent other Pawmot from clicking Volt Switch to gain momentum. Lastly, discharge is your offensive move of choice as it lets you paralyze taunt users to be faster than them, and deals actual damage unlike nuzzle.

:cresselia: @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Lunar Dance
- Trick
- Zen Headbutt
- Moonlight

My secret tech. Cresselia doesn't get any stat boost in BnB (except attack, which lets you pick up a few surprise KOs with Zen Headbutt in a pinch), but it fills a role no other pokemon can. Combined with Pawmot, Cress lets you infinitely restore every other pokemon on your team to full health and PP, which theoretically lets you keep on playing FOREVER (as long as Pawmot doesn't die, or Lunar Dance PP doesn't run out). To do so, you simply click Lunar Dance, heal up whoever you need to, then revive cress with Pawmot. As a funny hilarious bonus, you can use lunar dance on Pawmot, which restores Revival Blessing's single PP, letting you use it immediately to revive Cresselia without needing to call it with Sleep Talk, and this cycle can be repeated infinitely as long as you can find a way to switch back into Cresselia. Trick can come in handy to force progress versus other defensive teams, but mostly Choice Scarf is just there to get the fast Lunar Dance out every time.

:deoxys-defense: @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SpD
Impish Nature
- Cosmic Power
- Knock Off
- Night Shade
- Recover

This guy is just bonkers tanky. It's funny to think that in Godly Gift, you can use this with 150 base hp (passed from Giratina), but the meager 100 it gets here is more than enough to wall pretty much everything that doesn't hit it super effectively. Anything you don't outright wall can be walled after 1 or 2 cosmic powers go up. This is also the team's best progress forcer: You can remove items with Knock Off, force damage with Night Shade as normal types are not all that common, and stall an ungodly amount of pp from everything you can't beat normally with Pressure. Usually this would be limited by it's own recover pp running out, but thanks to Pawmot + Cresselia that is no longer an issue :))

:toxapex: @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 HP / 20 Def / 236 SpD
Impish Nature
- Haze
- Poison Jab
- Infestation
- Recover

What stall is complete without a Regenerator pokemon? Pex is much of the same as deo-d, but in a different flavor. This lets you haze any pesky boosters, and trap defensive pokemons with infestation to force damage/pp waste. I went with Poison Jab instead of Toxic or tspikes to be able to poison taunters. There's honestly not that much to say about this one. Dark Tera is there to stop from losing to psynoise/stored power, but honestly it might not be needed as Deoxys-Defense will wall any stored powerer to shit. I've had him fully stall out a Farigiraf who was at +6 special attack, special defense, speed and +2 attack (that's 420 base power) just by boosting defenses alongside it then spamming recover to waste all stored power pp (it was doing a measly 48...). Anyways, moving on...

:skarmory: @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Sturdy
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Brave Bird
- Spikes
- Whirlwind
- Roost

A little bit of hazards speed up the process greatly. Sadly I couldn't fit stealth rocks on the team, so I went with mono spikes. Skarm is insanely bulky just like everyone else, and having whirlwind in my toolbox is a more than welcome addition. Just like Pex, I don't really have anything to say about this guy. He works just like Skarm does in regular play, only he's 10000x times bulkier thanks to having it's hp and spdef doubled. Tera Water is very helpful against Rain and Sun teams.

:weezing-galar: @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Neutralizing Gas
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Pain Split
- Defog
- Will-O-Wisp
- Strange Steam

The "best" hazard control in the game. Gholdengo is probably not all that common, but it's good to take precautions. Besides weez-g, much like Skarmory, gets its HP and Special Defense doubled in this tier, making it soooo much harder to deal with. It's also a full counter to Corrosion Salazzle, because toxic will fail against it thanks to Neutralizing Gas. That ability in general is pretty useful, making it a good lead against weather teams for example. I prefer strange steam over sludge bomb just because it hits pawmot super effectively.

Playing this team, I did lose a few times to very offensive teams and one time to Rage Fist Primeape + Resttalk Pawmot (which I think I could have won if I just played it more patiently), but it's overall very solid imo and playing it for so long has led me to believe that maybe Pawmot or at the very least Revival Blessing should get banned. It's not a very healthy presence for the tier in my opinion, and while there are ways around it, it just enables a lot of smelly cheese.

Last but not least, here are a few replays:
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9badnboosted-2435026262 (this one is super interesting but VERY long)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9badnboosted-2434721969-jheeldp7lm0q9pdy098qqepygfyhhw1pw?p2 In this one I didn't play particularly well and let the opposing mons set up a lot. Still, I was unpunished.
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9badnboosted-2434647736?p2 This one was very close, forgive my popoff at the end haha

Deo is the absolute best non webs lead in the current meta imo. With the same bulk as mew, it can afford to run items other than sash, and outpaces every other lead except deos (who is just a straight cteam tbh). A major problem however is that mental herb ariados/kricketune/ribombee will just ignore you and get webs up anyway. Thankfully, ladder hasnt really caught on to mental herbing their webs leads.

cm fmane straight up NEEDS to run taunt, its just so good into the phaze spam right now. Booster on a team with koraidon is a bit strange, but its needed to spinblock poltergeist bramble better. Another thing that you can do is bring flutter in when there is 1 sun turn left, click cm, and then have your booster be swapped over to spa, which helps with breaking.

btw I genuinely hate facing clefairy with this set. You SHOULD win without a doubt, but they always get like 3 moonblast spa drops in a row and then beat you.

I used to run frosmoth instead of this, but I found that ribombee just worked way better. Ribombee muscles through most unaware mons and other bulky mons, but struggles against the phasers like skarm and ho-oh. Its only really useful once skarm has been chipped low enough.

knock off/taunt/encore/dtail/pjab/gunk are all viable and can be substituted in based on matchups.

My personal favorite mon in bnb. The increased bulk is pretty insane, and allows salazzle to easily setup on fmane (it takes like 20 from shadow ball), non tb ground zacian, gweezing, and tera dark lets it setup on sable trying to encore you, or something trying to psychic you. Tera grass is good for dozo and mons trying to eq you. Toxic punishes anything that you lose to, and sub lets you stall them out until they are low enough that fire lash finishes them off.

Standard zacian, pretty self explanatory. Used to be bisharp, but I quickly found that bisharp does like no damage whatsoever.

Some random thoughts on the current meta:

Revbless needs to go imo. I hesitate to call it broken but its pretty infuriating to have a lastmon pawmot revive a koraidon and a flutter mane and proceed to win because you lost your check while killing them the first time.

shed tail is honestly fine with all of the phazing and fast taunts.

dragonair is hella overrated, mon does not deserve to be on like 1/5 of all teams.

stall is currently very strong in bnb, meaning running multiple taunters is pretty mandatory on things like HO

also some potentialmons that I think are worth testing out: :Scream Tail::Gardevoir::Crawdaunt::Ursaluna::Wigglytuff::Orthworm::Diancie::Magearna::Farigiraf::snivy::dugtrio::kyurem-black::chi-yu:
