during the first week of my school year pokemon showdown was unblocked and I came in to school this past monday and its been blocked I need ideas on how to convince them its educational

pay attention in class please

you should really just focus in class. grades are verrrry important kids you really gotta do good in school just trust me on this one
that being said, if you make an effort to only do it during say lunchtime or whatnot, you could maybe spin things as mathematical to some degree (calcing, etc) as well as comparing it to games such as chess which will probably go over well with administration. you may want to convienently forget to mention it has chatroom capability though as that will probably nix all your chances of ever getting it unblocked
there is an easier solution though. it is called "lock in and study and get solid grades and do showdown when you get home"

get a vpn or use a proxy server, don’t listen to them gang don’t listen in class it’s not even that fr

pokémon showdown should be cracked down on hard. save these poor victims from themselves before the habit takes too deep a root!

You're going to have to convince showdown to reinstate the scholastics room first.
If you get into computer science you could say you need it for stas reasons
Ps usage stats track a lot of variables and could be used as a way to test whatever
perhaps you can start a university that studies competitive Pokemon battling...
