#1 vs #2 in the power rankings in week 1 means that we are going to have a great match. Both players are excellent at UU, and their playing skill needs no introduction. Picked Punny here due to having elite support when it comes to UU, as it is important to have another set of eyes to check on teams.
SV UU: etern vs Mimilucha
etern had a very good UUPL, going 6-3, which is the primary reason why I gave them the nod here over Mimilucha. However, Mimilucha is coming off a 3-1 showing in WCOP, so this match would not be easy for etern.
SV UU: zS vs Eternal Spirit
I feel like zS has a more general knowledge of lower tiers in general which would come in handy in this match against Eternal Spirit.
SV UU: Fogbound Lake vs JustFranco
While Fogbound Lake has had experience in playing UU before in Slam, Franco is regarded as one of the best UU players, which is why I expect them to win in week 1.
SV UU: Sacri' vs crying
Sacri had a very good UU open run, reaching the quarterfinals, which shows their ability for SV UU. I would expect Crying to run something along the lines of Nasty Plot Slowking or Body Press Heatran.

Punny vs pdt
- I give Punny a slight edge here. Every bone in my body is screaming pdt because I know how comprehensive his prep is, especially in big games. However, Punny is just objectively the better performer in these tournaments. 7-1 in last SCL with one win being over pdt is pretty substantial evidence of Punny's dominance. I want to highlight the fact that pdt won UU Open and is always a lock to be consistent in this pool, but I think Punny's creativity is very hard to prep against, and their in game intelligence is slightly above pdt's.

etern vs Mimilucha
- I give etern a pretty significant edge here. I was initially high on Mimilucha because of more tier involvement. But, it seems that etern has actually been more involved with SV UU than Mimi despite not being a "mainer". etern lost early in UU Open, but it was a loss to Star after beating strong opponents like eternal spirit and Lycans. He also went 6-3 in UUPL to Mimilucha's undrafted/no sign up. Mimi also struggled off the bench last year and only managed one win. I think etern is ultimately a better player, with more SCL experience, and has displayed more consistency in the tier. Not to mention vivalospride as his prep help.

zS vs Eternal Spirit
- Neither of these players have played much UU in recent times. I'm giving this to zS purely on the grounds that he has been more active and successful than gama recently, by an overwhelming margin. I'll give gama credit that he's gone 6-4 in the UU pool in SCL before, so obviously his ceiling is favorable. However, the zS Colin prep core far exceeds gama's if he ignores all advice and builds his own metagame around 75% controversial takes. Sabella is a great player in his own right and I hope gama values his metagame knowledge.

Fogbound Lake vs JustFranco
- You can't not bold Franco here. He has more UU games recently, UU games in this tournament, a UU ribbon, and is one of the most dominant players in UU individual tours. He also has an incredibly high price tag to live up to. Fog, however, is still a very good player and will have mind gaming helping him out in prep. Mind had a good UU Open run, only losing to pdt. Franco wasn't impressive in UUPL or UU Open, so potentially in somewhat of a slump, but I would imagine he wins this given his overall higher consistency and experience in the tier.

proposing to play at 5am of your own time and then say "I had to stay up until 5 am wtfff" is a strange way to schedule lol

Also i'm looking at the rules and I think it states that the team has to "provide a sub within 30 mins" and it seems like they did with the tag of Sabella ? From a spectator's POV the activity win seems strange lol, the rules are quite unclear for me if they mean that the substitute player has to chall within 30 mins (and I think it wasn't the case in the previous tours that I did, we just had to provide the name of the available substitute player within 30 mins, and then they have to contact each other)

this is important because everybody uses these rules, so I'd really like to know what is the exact meaning behind "provide" for future references

It was always the case that you have to post the substitute and the player has to be online.

Anything besides this would be silly as managers could substitute someone currently offline as a mechanism to make someone wait longer. The entire point of the rule is to be considerate of people’s time, so that would be contradictory.
