Well it seems that playoffs are for the most part decided and both the Syndicate and our fellow competitors this week are not among them. Best of luck to the remaining teams. It's officially a wrap for the Syndicate and I'd like to share some closing thoughts. This tournament format turned out to be a huge success in all aspects of fun, hype, and quality and I'm excited to see what future editions of the tour have to offer. I didn't expect to end the tour with a neutral record of 2-2, but an evened out record is the best I could hope for after a heavily filled rng tour for our team.

:latios: :latias: To the Soul Dew Syndicate (and ASKOV ), things didn't turn out the way we had hoped. We really did have such insane misfortunes throughout the tour. Some of the weeks were definitely a lot closer in retrospect if things had gone our way and we weren't so unlucky, but ultimately it's part of the game we play and in the spirit of competition where not everyone can win, some must lose. I hope this has been a learning experience for everyone. Even in the midst of our shortcomings, some of our players managed to end the tour with positive records. Some words for my individual teammates:

mintwinter : You are truly the goat! You are genuinely the best type of teammate a person could ask for. For this being your debut tour, you did amazing! You were one of the only 3 individuals on the team to end up with a positive record. I just want to say thank you for all the effort that you gave that didn't go unnoticed, for your willingness to discuss ideas and build, and being all around helpful in the ways that you could be for your teammates. For anyone reading this, I highly recommend drafting them in future tours if they choose to participate.

BeatsBlack : You were another individual on the team that ended up with a positive record. spoke on occasion and were easy to work with. It was fun seeing your creativity come to life in DPP, I hope you stick around in the community if you have the motivation for the UU tiers.

fatty : The third player on the team with a positive record. I enjoyed my time getting to team with you for the first time ever. I have such an appreciation for your approach to building and how it plays out in a match. Your consistency is inspiring, hope we team up again some day.

Teh : RBY had a very competitive pool for this tour. I'm not an RBY expert and I know this tier can be whacky, but despite how the luck played out for, you had some quality play in your matches. I was actually excited for once to watch some RBY whenever you played. I hope you also stick around in the community if you have the motivation for it.

kimer / DripLegend : Grouping you both together since I feel like y'all had similar experiences this tour. You both barely got to play in your preferred tiers and ended up having to play tiers that perhaps y'all weren't the most familiar with, especially with how limited our numbers became..., and I really am sorry that's how the tour unfolded for you both. I hope you both don't let the outcome of this tour prevent y'all from trying again in a later tournament to really get the shot that y'all deserve, like there is much potential in you guys and I hope you can see that in yourselves.

Real FV13 / Shiba / Lyssa / TJ : Grouping y'all together for similar reasons. Our luck truly was horrendous this tour and I feel like y'all experienced some of the worst of it. I know it can be tough to stay motivated and invested when we're in the trenches getting kicked while we're down, but I hope y'all know I genuinely looked forward to watching your matches, y'all are some talented players. You all did have some good moments in this tour. Shiba, I know you originally said you weren't planning on trying as hard in this tour, but even with a more laid back effort you're still quite the terrifying demon that definitely lives up to the iconic 2025 Shiba title. RealFV, I know you almost crashed out this this tour, but I'm glad you saw it thru to the end and finished strong. It's always a fun experience getting to team with you, and seeing you continue to grow as a player constantly is a really cool thing too. TJ, I believe we've teamed before at some point, a bit of a quiet feller with insane aura, like you just spawn in when it's time and get it done. Your consistency across tiers is quite inspiring. Lyssa, you're a very inspiring player and a great presence to be around. I was hoping that we would one day get to team up, and it's tragic that the experience went the way it did. For the things that were within your control, you have every reason to be proud and I hope that you're able believe in yourself as much as this community does.

seraphz / Plague :
It was a pleasure to have been drafted by y'all. As someone that's been a manager before, I know how challenging the experience can be especially when things start going haywire, and I can only imagine the unique situations that come of having to navigate an entirely new format as well. I hope this has also been a learning experience for y'all. I do wonder what inspired y'all to manage this time around, it is always nice seeing new faces giving it a go at managing, although I do question how seriously y'all took the management process. I wouldn't say this was necessarily a bad experience, in fact I think was positive overall for me at least, but I do think more could have been done by both management and players to really foster a team environment, but I do get that management styles can vary and players sometimes do their own things, and you both were helpful at different points in the tour. Seraphz, I'm not sure how long you've been playing, but your ability to pick up different tiers quickly and pilot well is incredible. I can only imagine what would happen if you chose to focus entirely on one tier. I'm curious to see you continue to grow as a player.
