Project Monotype Fight Night!

Fight Night happened! Had some lighthearted games. I didn't have a general plan going into it but there has been a team I've been wanting to use for funsies - rain flying. At first I wanted special DNite to be the rain abuser, with Thunder, Hurricane, and Hydro Pump in its disposal but I eventually pushed that role unto Zapdos after realizing there wasn't enough of a physical threat on the team.

G1 electric vs ghost you may look at the team preview, hell, at type match up, and think this game is unwinnable... but vaporeonds blessed me with this team along with their luck. Between freeze, para, and miss, I pulled out the win, skillfully taking game 1 for myself. Although without Eleki screens it wouldn't have been possible at all.

G2 flying vs fighting Since I'm rocking a Pelipper and no Moltres, fighting's chances of winning should improve by a tiny bit... but by virtue of running more offensive sets to exploit the rain, I just had to throw attacks out to make the fighting composition crumble. Some Hurricanes and banded attacks later and I closed out the series, winning 500 pokedollars from ltranc as well.

We ran a 3rd one for fun and he rolled me over haha. I could have utilized Arma better but I'm happier losing. Looking back you could say our games came down to matchup but hax was the early decider. Put up ltranc for another match please.

Everyone give ArkenCiel a round of applause! The past vs the present fought it out in an exemplary best of three. Amazing matches if I do say so myself. Excellent sportsmanship as well. Job well done.

Remember: Leafeonlol, Fentropy, Arkenciel, and ltranc, are unable to be voted on as they now are undergoing a 30 day period. ANY VOTE CASTED THAT IS NOT SERIOUS OR HAS ANY OF THE AFORMENTIONED 4 WILL NOT BE TALLIED.
