"I'm going to fight for her. The same way you once fought for me."
Character Name: Gunvolt
Franchise/Origin: Azure Striker Gunvolt
Type: Electric
Ability: Flashfield
Stats: 99 / 67 / 77 / 107 / 85 / 90 (Total: 525)
Weight: 50 kg
Flavor Reasoning: Gunvolt is the protagonist of the Azure Striker Gunvolt series. He is an Adept with the Azure Striker Septima, meaning he has the power to control electricity. Hitting an opponent with his gun tags them, which makes them take damage when his Flashfield power is active. This felt fitting to add as a custom ability. Other powers he has include regeneration (Recover) and using electricity to float for short amounts of time (Magnet Rise). He also possesses Special Skills, which are powerful attacks in AZG. Luxcalibur felt best represented by Mighty Cleave, while Voltaic Chains became a Z-Move.
Competitive Reasoning: Within CC, I can see two main ways Gunvolt could be used. Firstly he could function as a simple offensive pivot, getting surprise KOs using tools like Overheat or Voltaic Chains. There's plenty of wallbreakers in CC already, so I limited his offensive capability. He could also utilize Flashfield using Double Hit to apply 2 marks in one turn. Combine this strategy with Protect, Recover, Leftovers, and more to wear targets down over time. The downside to both is that Gunvolt has no answer to any Ground types, and Flashfield is much less useful if the target has any reliable recovery.

- Effects: Hitting a target with an attack gives the target a mark. Up to 3 marks can be on a target at a time. The marks are reset if the target switches out or Gunvolt switches out or faints. Whenever Gunvolt uses a status move, marked targets lose 1/16 of their HP if they have 1 mark, 1/10 of their HP if they have 2, and 1/6 of their HP if they have 3. Multi-hit moves apply a mark for each hit.

- Z-Crystal Name: Septimium Z

- Power: 170
- Enhanced from: Rising Voltage
- Effects: Prevents the target from escaping.
