You assumed for some reason I meant 6 am? My bad for not checking the times matched up but assuming I meant I wanted to fight that early is also unreasonable. We still have time to fight in your stated availability today.

I will admit I was mistaken in not double checking your time zone aligned with what time you stated, but assuming "6 on Saturday" meant 6 am and then filling up the rest of your schedule is just being unreasonable. Especially since you earlier said 11am-11pm availability when I reached out about the mixup at 10:30 my time/7:30 your time.

I recognize I should have reached out. Since I didn’t see outreach from opponent (they only sent a discord req which I didn’t see in time, didn’t not try smogon), I assumed we were in the same boat: busy during the week and planning for the weekend (I had two assignments due on Thursday midnight). I made myself available to accommodate their requested times once I saw the request. I would have reached out on Friday had I not noticed their message so that we could make it work.

Although I understand their overall argument is valid, there are two points where I don’t feel their post is reasonable. Their claim has an implied assumption that I was sitting on this thread, only reaching out when I saw them post. I don’t believe this is a reasonable. Additionally, saying that they waited “well over 48 hours” feels like a bit of a stretch for wed late aft -> Friday evening, especially given it was just a discord req without trying smogon.
