Tournament UUCL Team and Set Dump

Hello, wanted to do a dump of all the teams I built that got used during this tour! There might be some I missed / some that AJ had more involvement with.

AJ dude LOLLL i just wanted to play this tour and I 100% ego'd you into letting me self buy.

1759765380802.png

I GOT 5 BRO
Thank you for trusting in me, and it cannot be overstated how much effort you put into this tour. I know its unfortunate that we are out now, but I appreciate what you've done. I know we butt heads on our SV thought process a lot, but ultimately I respect your takes and I think most of our teams were improved by our friction.

SV -
i went into this tour with little SV building experience, so a lot of what you see is me ripping into trends and stuff I had seen in scl / uucl.

W1 - Feliburn v hellom - :zoroark-hisui::excadrill::lokix::hydrapple::rotom-wash::tornadus-therian:
W2 - Feliburn v TJ - :ogerpon-cornerstone::tornadus-therian::latios::skarmory::excadrill::slowking:
W3 - Feliburn v Mossy Sandwich - :gastrodon::tornadus-therian::chesnaught::greninja::thundurus-therian::heatran:
W4 - Kate v Tuthur - :tornadus-therian::conkeldurr::slowking::skeledirge::excadrill::ogerpon:
W4 - Feliburn v KSt3ve - :arcanine-hisui::excadrill::tornadus-therian::rotom-wash::gardevoir::hydrapple:
W7 - Feliburn v Kitoothe - :conkeldurr::excadrill::greninja::tornadus-therian::slowking::heatran:
Semifinals - Feliburn v 691 - :zapdos-galar::tornadus-therian::excadrill::latios::slowking::tinkaton:

SS -

this was my slot the entire tour, and I tried to branch out a bit in the builder every week. any weeks / games I don't post are teams I pulled from someone else.

W1 v micciu - :marowak-alola::keldeo::salamence::chansey::scizor::nidoqueen:

It's pretty well known that ghost resists are turbo fake in SS. I wanted to build around some sort of ghost, but the easiest to fit felt like Marowak-Alola. I figured U-turn Scizor and Chansey would be able to semi consistently bring Wak in. Keldeo was one of many options on this team structured to pivot in Marowak against Slowking.

W2 v lyssa - :cobalion::thundurus-therian::gardevoir::salamence::chansey::amoonguss:

I saw a game earlier where double dance thundy won a game off rip. Seemed like having thundy + hwish would allow me to boost up against Chansey / Tang and setup later on against Exca who pivots into Garde.

W2 colin v crushy - :conkeldurr::slowking::zygarde-10::cobalion::thundurus-therian::salamence:

Zero real thoughts tbh. I just built turbo standard with Ice Punch Conk and Megahorn Coba to catch normal structures. We got lucky and won.

W3 v one last kiss - :thundurus-therian::scolipede::salamence::celesteela::conkeldurr::excadrill:

I generally don't HO in these tours but I saw the heavy trend of scoli HO, and figured I'd try to capitalize on it. TBH this six looked like Thundurus would be annoying, so I tried out Slide + Chople Exca. Ended up in a mirror and I got a bit unlucky, though I could've capitalized with Salamence on some turns for sure.

W4 v umbry - :chansey::reuniclus::excadrill::moltres::togekiss::zarude:

I wasn't feeling particularly inspired, other than wanting to load Reuniclus. I looked at older TDK replays and ripped this team. The Reuniclus load paid off and I won off lead.

W5 v mimilucha - :chansey::mandibuzz::slowking::scizor::hippowdon::crobat:

I was pretty tired of the normal offense I had used all tour, and I was attempting to build some stall / semistall variants. TBH I'm a pretty offensive player in general, so it checks out that my attempt at semistall had triple setup mons haha. But Calm Mind Chansey and Calm Mind Slowking would act as more consistent checks to setup, like vs CM Snore Primarina / CM Reuniclus, I found Plot Crobat to be a relatively consistent breaker vs sd Coba / Exca teams, especially since I had many chansey ins. Brave Bird Mandibuzz was to help with Conkeldurr. I got owned by Encore Primarina, but I had a lot of Chansey usage so it was to be expected.

W5 baddy v jay - :nihilego::mamoswine::slowbro-galar::tangrowth::hydreigon::skarmory:

I passed a ~3 year old Totomon team for this slot, figured Glowbro farmed. Only real change we made was speeding up Skarm to creep Crawdaunt cuz he owned us otherwise.

W6 v xiri - :toxtricity::slowking::togekiss::zarude::cobalion::diggersby:

I am generally a big proponent of Toxtricity, and Xiri had super low Excadrill usage, so I tried to capitalize on that with Toxtricity + Togekiss. SpDef Toge was ev'd to eat 2 Power Gems from Nihilego and Psyshock back. The rest of the team was pretty standard and maybe relied on a little bit of outplay vs Zydog. I loaded into CressCune, possibly the single best Toxtricity matchup and won handily.

W6 baddy v attribute - :reuniclus::raikou::crobat::togekiss::seismitoad::salamence:

TBH this team was actually built first but Psyshock never came out on Toge so I figured I'd reuse it in my slot. SpD Toad was cope for fitting ground + water resist + rocks. Reuniclus looked strong into scout with colbur Focus, Raikou + Crobat gave me a reasonable speed tier while Raikou could force progress on Exca for Toge and force in Amoon / Tang for it.

W7 v 691 - :nihilego::cobalion::thundurus-therian::amoonguss::gyarados::hydreigon:

I had zero nihilego usage over like 3 years of playing this tier and figured i would use it (I dont know why I never brought it before LOL? because its like insane and im ass for not doing so). SubSD Coba had a strong matchup into 691 structures, and Gyara + SubSD Coba should've covered most common matchups. I did not prep well for Mamoswine though and got some unfortunate rolls, and ended up getting overloaded by Mamoswine + Zydog. Not a structurally great team though, I don't think i could've afforded Thund + Gyara here.

Semis v Dunoks - :reuniclus::togekiss::thundurus-therian::excadrill::raikou::amoonguss:

I think I ripped some old ass team for this but IDR who it was from. Bold Toge had god matchup this guy is nutso

Finals v KSt3ve - :cobalion::togekiss::excadrill::rotom-wash::amoonguss::hydreigon:

Ran back Bold Toge this time with Flamethrower, SD 3a Cobalion looked very good into the scout, so just combined the two and ran relatively standard. I got a Fire Blast against Coba t1 which effectively won me the game, not much to do after other than get normal turns + guess sets from my opponent.

This part is much more of my SS thoughts on the tier at this point but I fully see the "cover in prep" issue of SS nowadays. Shit like Reuniclus, CressCune, Gyarados, Toxtricity, Crawdaunt can just win off preview at relatively consistent amounts. Plenty of these games were decided purely on matchup, which tbh is fine since everything theoretically has a common structure that beats it. I do enjoy SS as a whole, but I personally do not find Thundurus-T and Conkeldurr particularly balanced. I think plenty of the turns with Thundurus in game are just decided off getting the turn right, coverage such as Psychic / FBlast / GKnot is not hard to fit and Knock just decimates 99% of teams. I don't think my teams were particularly prepped well for it, but I tried to cover it by virtue of speed tier + reliance on opponent's Thundy moveset trends. Would I take action on Thund though? Probably not, eh. I feel similarly about Conk, I don't think Conk is particularly balanced, and there's not a ton of competition nowadays for that Fighter slot (IMO keldeo is mediocre and pretty fishy, and Cobalion is very solid but it can be difficult to stack steels by virtue of Zygarde / Conkeldurr / Thundurus / Nidoqueen). I do think with people who still load Colbur Psychics + super offensive structures, it can be less impactful, but it still makes progress every game.

I've said this a few times but I believe top 5 in this tier now is :scizor: :togekiss: :nihilego: :slowking: :salamence:.

Anyways, hope to see you all in the next team tour. Thank you to Lyra NDK olivia for helping me with SV UU / SS UU prep, you all should 100% be drafted in future team tours.

Thanks for everything Azelves

super enjoyable tournament, big fan of the format thanks to the hosts for hosting :)

missing poffs was highkey pretty painful this tour bc I felt like we had a good vibe going and I was putting on a clinic in a few diff areas, mostly did sm, ss, and sv things due to Pak existing in ORAS, and he was truly on one this tournament from the jump. Couldn’t be happier w my ASSman

SV
IMG_3573.png

av torn scarf tar sand hellom used week 7 for a dub

IMG_3744.jpeg

tera blast cha thing I gave hellom, ended up being a loss but I felt good abt the team think it was pretty swag

IMG_3745.jpeg

probably the best set i’ve got ppl to use in a while, gave this to hellom week 5? idk, but was a dub

IMG_3746.jpeg

originally gave this to DugZa for slam poffs, it lost, but hellom gave it a W in its redemption game in whatever week he used this

IMG_2865.png

tspikes av bonk pdtar sand i gave lax at some point in the tour, was a dub

IMG_3574.png

made these for jojen in week 7 but ended up being a deadgame :( team was broken wanted etern to use one of the variants in scl but he didn’t bite smh

IMG_2838.png

gave this to lax for a dub in middle of tour, idk which week, offensive torn was underutilized thru the gen tho fo sho

IMG_2715.png

built these in pursuit of a specs torn team that was more on the offensive end, hellom used the bottom one and lost, sad face, still all 3 I believe to have been “quite cool” at the very bare minimum.

IMG_2625.png

jojen used this week 2? idk, but it lost, also believe this is p good and this keld set in general was v nice at the time, still prolly ok but not as easy to go with over other options w actual defensive expectations (kinda) existing for keldeo now (weavile)

SS

IMG_2852.png

built this for jojen for a dub, im a fan of this one for sure it felt right, nothing groundbreaking tho

IMG_3122.png

built these for xrn when he fought umbry, feel p good abt them in hindsight ig? he went with the top one which i liked more, was basically just tryna overwhelm umbry’s typical frameworks w phys attackers + fsight, in theory high floor

IMG_3747.jpeg

truthfully i don’t recall who the opp was but i believe xrn used this week 7, i dont recall if it was a dub or not tho, i believe the idea was just to simply have consistent wincons (gbro sciz) and therefore win via skill

the fact that all of these have zyg is a coincidence i promise i built more things that were also good but they didn’t get used so blame my teammates

SM

IMG_3582.png

IMG_3583.png

truthfully i don’t recall which of these 2 lax used in week 7, i also don’t remember if he won or lost but these are both good, idea was simply some high floor sub prim team

IMG_3228.png

didn’t get used but p nice team

IMG_3221.png

this team is dripping in swag, although i cannot lie i don’t even remember if it got used or not, was originally built for an early week in the tour for xrn, but he went a diff route which i’ll put below somewhere, lax mightve used it and would’ve won if he did, idr tho

IMG_3749.jpeg

this didn’t get used but p sure it’s good, made after Adam cooked the fuck out of us with that godly mew set, this is definitely a viv sm team tho lol

IMG_2720.png

made this for xrn in an early-ish week, it ended up losing to the above godly mew set like turn frickin one. was probably winnable but really only with like, idk, info and not many mistakes. with that said in most other mus this team is p good imo

IMG_2650.png

i made this directly prior to the tour after tryna get sm samples together and had lax use it week 1 for a dub, steel type coba but sets make it work, lati is also god

IMG_3750.jpeg

structure is not particularly creative but this is one of the better prim structures imo in general, team is named after what Pearl replied to the team with in the team cord, lax used week 2 for a dub, i think it was week 2 at least

i made this whole post on my phone in random increments of spare time so there’s for sure stuff missing but i was relatively proud of some things from this tour and happy w the team Pak and I drafted, special shoutouts to Cynde for all the bouncing back and forth in SV, and kumiko and Pearl for speaking words in SM

also first time teaming w hellom he was one of my fav teammates to help support in a rly long time :blobthumbsup:

might edit in pastes later but that’s a lot of work rn and most of it is sv stuff that isn’t relevant anymore

ok so going into this tour i wanted to try to adv as much as possible given that i didnt get to in uupl - i also wanted to at least make an attempt to use mons in the tier that i had previously regarded as not worthwhile, ranging anywhere from mediocre to dogshit. unfortunately i didnt get to do that much in the way of pushing boundaries like i wanted to, as i reaching burnout towards the end of the season. to that end in 3? i think? of my games this tour i ended up using teams that i didnt build because i either didnt have the time to really lock down on building or was just not super confident. not fun. there were some cool things to gain this season though and i did at least TRY different things in the builder which i guess counts for something...also i probably used other people's ev spreads for some of these here and there but whatever i dont remember

been a p big hater of sandslash but the usage of pdef slash over the past couple of months has made it more interesting to me. the main draw of it imo is that it can check some of the important physical attackers, the most important of them being cb solrock. some teams arent afraid to forgo rock resists at the moment which means that cb solrock having too much free reign (read: flinching) leads to defensive cores falling apart long term. so i built a team with sd sandslash based off that, and while i dump a lot of speed into it, i think it can still be bulky enough to do the job given the fast paced nature of the mons surrounding it. i never really classify teams as "physical" or "special" offense but i guess you can define this as the former because it is basically just a bunch of strong guys slapped in one team. nothing else about the team is particularly interesting or anything unfortunately

not gonna lie this is very close to being the same team so i'm not gonna bother even trying to write anything substantial on it. at least the sandslash is bulky this time!

golduck is a pretty interesting mon, and by interesting i kind of mean that as in "will you be able to hit your hydro pumps". because if you do, it's absolutely amazing with a cm, and if not, you've lost most if not all of your momentum and your golduck won't be able to get much more mileage if it's even alive. imo lum is the best way to go about it, as it helps with odds management vs kangas and such. i dont think you really need to do anything with the moveset outside of hp grass + psychic unless you are absolutely sure you are going to see altaria or some stupid shit. beyond that this is kind of a cookie cutter offense, i believe this is the first time i've used glalie in a tour but the mu against some stuff like amph is pretty obnoxious for this sort of team and boom is good for resetting tempo. sd hp ghost tentacruel is because fuck misdreavus. i honestly hesitate to even say you need spin on this team so you could probably do hydro pump over that. sub salac gligar and electrode are the speed control options so to speak, as a boosted gligar can be super lethal with a little set up.

did some stupid shit with some of the sets here, will elaborate more on the gatr and solrock later but light screen glalie is to improve the elec mu since i really dont care for facing amph all that much (also helps with lapras etc). not super different from the team above but the goal is mostly just the same in that you break with the lead lum mon, get up spikes with glalie, and then just trade down with the other guys.

not much in the way of ~innovation~ or whatever lol but there are a few sets i brought / theorized this tour that i did want to talk about. maybe theyve been used before but i dont believe ive seen them in tours so id like to think for the gatr and solrock this is the first time theyve been used in anything important

feraligatr.png

Feraligatr @ Lum Berry
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 Atk / 56 SpD / 200 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Brick Break
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Ghost]

this is somewhat of a fishy choice of coverage on gatr, but my thought process was mostly that after a boost, gatr does good damage to lapras + kanga + bull with brick break, and hp ghost hits slowking + missy + solrock. unfortunately the issue with this is that if they eventually realize that youre walled by scyther etc it is not a fun time, but i believe vs most leads this can have a high ceiling. the spdef always lives lanturn tbolt i think

solrock.png

Solrock @ Salac Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Endure

on offense this is probably my favorite solrock to use, obviously it isn't as strong as cb nor does it have a lot of defensive utility either but endure salac allows you to flip the mu on stuff like cb scyther or other faster mons that owuld rk you like tenta. with scyther, forcing them out through endure and then shifting the momentum in your favor that way can be very important for momentum. it got sacced in one game and then crit in another so it didn't really get to shine :( it's cool!

gligar.png

Gligar @ Leftovers
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 124 HP / 244 Atk / 140 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Aerial Ace
- Hidden Power [Ghost]

kills most missys at +2 while also still hitting solrock for se damage. that is mostly it it probably has good calcs vs xatu too i guess

meganium.png

Meganium @ Leftovers
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 HP / 236 Def / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 2 Atk / 30 SpA
- Leech Seed
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Synthesis
- Counter

kind of functions similarly to leech seed vileplume, except its better at checking sandslash. and counter allows you to get some nice ohkos (scyther) if things go well. obviously this is not a great pokemon but it is a fun one

thats mostly it, unfortunately kind of a drab season in terms of building original stuff and i ended up 4-3 in adv AGAIN but at least we won the tour :D thanks to Petros starbitstorm for drafting me, umbry for carrying me (all of us) and being very clutch as a building support and testing partner. thanks to Killintime Shiba Xrn Attribute Lyssa for discussing adv stuff with me as well, Punny for all the help in bw, and to the rest of the team for clutching up, it was a very fun experience (the stress and nonsense made it more fun), and its nice to win a tour off the thinnest margins possible. thanks Indigo Plateau for that too LOL, very happy to break the curse here and hope it can continue on into uupl!

I didn't do too hot this tour and I originally wasn't going to post anything. However, seeing other people post stuff motivated me to write a small blurb about the most slept on threaten in the oras uu metagame, reuniclus and even broken hydra. Reuniclus is so broken. The most common set is cm+recover and 2 attacks but a really cool set I like this future sight.

:Reuniclus:
Reuniclus @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Future Sight
- Recover
- Psychic
- Focus Blast/Thunder/Signal Beam

The evs don't matter so I just put max hp and max special but this thing is super customizable and can run a lot of different spreads so just make it whatever you feel the most comfortable with. I also like having a psychic attack with future sight cause sometimes you need to be immediately threatening so people don't hard switch in psychic weak mons cause they know you can't hit them. Namely things like mienshao who's gonna knock off your lorb and switch with u-turn. Even heracross can be scary so I like having psychic together with future sight. Focus blast is primarily the reason why I like reuniclus over than slowking as an future sighter. Super hot oras take but I think reuniclus is miles better than slowking for future sight support. One of the biggest problems I have is that slowking is that it can't punish empoleon or the dark types like hydra once a future sight is up. Reuniclus doesn't have this problem because focus blast threatens metal penguin and the darks so they will have to think twice before switching in. Future sight reuniclus is also a great partner to Life orb hydra.

:Hydreigon:
Hydreigon (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Superpower
- Flamethrower
- Roost

This set is super old but so good and it's a travesty that no one uses it anymore. I think the older set uses flash cannon as the second special move with draco but flamethrower is what I think is a lot better. Being able to hit klefki and doublade is too important for me so I just stick with a fire move for coverage. I used both of these vs pak cause I thought they were have a pretty decent mu vs him and they actually did but I sabotaged myself right before the game. I had a funeral earlier this day before the game started and a few other issues arose for me. I really regret making the last second decision to change the team because I think the original sets were probably better so I was really kicking myself for this.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6uu-867375?p2

In my game vs pak I REALLY wanted to bring future sight reuniclus set but I made the unfortunate last second switch to change it to cm and focus blast. If I kept future sight I would have been able put it up which I think would have helped in the long run cause I wouldn't have to play the 50/50 between whether or not he goes absol/mienshao after u-turning with uxie. I just put sight up and then click coverage move. It also helps hydra because with a future sight up, I can click draco vs mienshao at full and get a kill. Game ends up going down to a speed tie and I lose it but I can't even be mad about that. Complaining over losing cause of a tie is lame and there is probably something I could have done to put myself into a winning scenario. Nobody's fault but my own so I'm taking responsibility for this loss. I was very happy how the game went though and was super excited to dust off this hydra set nobody really uses anymore. Even though I lost this game was the tipping point for me. I didn't enjoy oras much during this tour, but this one game makes me wanna take another crack at this tier. I think hydra is probably the best mon in oras uu and despite me doing very bad this tour, I have a renewed motivation to play and build oras uu again.

I was really bad this tour but I appreciate the ambipoms putting up with me. Hope I didn't annoy you guys too much (Even tho I totally did)
I've teamed with Rasche evakiyama! Tree69420 DugZa multiple times before and it's always so fun to run it with you guys. It was nice to meet Petros starbitstorm umbry Bouff Melbelle for the first time, you guys were all nice. Everyone else on the team was cool too, these were just the people I interacted with the most so I thought I'd mention them specifically. One last person who deserves a ton of credit is Indigo Plateau for being the sm hero and the reason why this tournament win run even existed to begin with.

Was going to post this somewhere else initially, but since I'm just posting blurbs about the matches/teams, I didn't think it was worthwhile. I checked both the DPP and UU forum threads, and neither have been posted in for quite some time with anything akin to a dump, including the lack of DPP in this thread. Hoping maybe that can change? Some of these teams are extremely sus (bad), but they still managed to either win or bring it down to the wire. That said, sometimes you just lock in and forget to bring Rocks to DPP. Games are linked in the week and pastes on the images.

Week 3 - :pmd/houndoom::pmd/qwilfish::pmd/rhyperior::pmd/venusaur::pmd/ambipom::pmd/mismagius:
Per the team's name (which I did not share), I ripped this from burstbean and made a few changes that I preferred, one of which was Taunt + Sash Doom iirc. Might've changed a few other things, but I don't have the OG any more to confirm anything. Not my team so I didn't link the paste, but the rest will have them. Outside of the weird Uxie v Rhyperior interaction I wasn't expecting, the team played well but was hampered heavily by Mismag getting crit (no fault of the team, mind you). Living this hit means I have 1 extra use of spinblock against Lee which would've likely been enough to keep up hazards for the rest of the game.

Week 4 - :pmd/scyther::pmd/dugtrio::pmd/hitmonlee::pmd/azumarill::pmd/venusaur::pmd/uxie:
Scyther had some really nice lead MU into what jack commonly loaded, which was like 50%+ Uxie, so I was going to try my best to abuse that as much as I could. Duggy and Lee are there to support Scyther in breaking down Steels or Rocks, with the latter also providing spin support. Azu was a diff water initially, but I wanted something fattier that could still pack a punch. A strong priority Jet was also quite appealing. Scarf Venu is something, I suppose a fast Sleep Powder could be tricky. I believe I had the Uxie simply because it had p stellar MUs into jack's teams, since his Uxie's were usually worn down fast as leads + aforementioned support for breaking (Regi)steels. As alluded to earlier, I forgot to put hazards on this team but that can be easily fixed with a change of the Uxie set.

Week 5 / Semi-Finals Drud vs LpZ- :pmd/sharpedo::pmd/alakazam::pmd/mismagius::pmd/torterra::pmd/drapion::pmd/registeel:
Lead Shark, at least from my impression, seems to have some really nice MUs into basically all the common offensive leads. Uxie, Mismagius, and Houndoom all fear it's STABs + Jet combination. Even something like Scyther doesn't leave the MU unscathed; assuming an immediate U-Turn, Scyther still puts itself below 2 SR switch-ins due to Rough Skin. Zam and Mismag are relatively simple, both fast and have ways to deal with annoying defensive cores (moreso Mismag w/ Trick + Plot). The Registeel attack EVs are for pushing a calc vs Mismag closer to being a 2HKO. Occa Berry slotted on because Fire-resist Sharpedo lol but the team is able to pressure them offensively anyway. Torterra is pretty borked when you're not against Leafeon or Weezing, but if you do run into those then the rest of the team should be able to deal with them handily. Chilan Berry was to set up against / not have a sweep stopped by Explosion users like Qwilfish or Registeel. Future tech. Drapion's STAB Crunch + EQ is pretty nice coverage for 2 moveslots, with Taunt being nice for stuffing status from the likes of Weezing (Wisp), Venu (Sleep Powder), and the assortment of Twavers in the tier. I passed this to Drud for his LpZ game, where we hesitantly changed Chilan to Lorb and Shuca to Scope Lens.

Week 6 - :pmd/houndoom::pmd/sceptile::pmd/rampardos::pmd/toxicroak::pmd/feraligatr::pmd/registeel:
I just wanted to use Rampardos tbh, there will always be merit in my heart for the absurd power Ramp has backing it. My cowardice in playing it "safe" by running Fire Punch for Tort/accurate Grass coverage over Head Smash resulted in the tie game slipping through the claws of my goat. Special Toxicroak sets seem more appealing to me than physical ones as you can beat down Ghosts and Psychics via Dark Pulse, which is much better than relying on Sucker or bouncing off with an Ice Punch or something similar. Fairly tough 4mss tho, you'd really like that strong fighting coverage. Wanted to try a cute SD Scept but Weezing lol.

Week 7 - :pmd/absol::pmd/torterra::pmd/arcanine::pmd/kabutops::pmd/uxie::pmd/primeape:
Prob my favorite team of the bunch, I love the amount of strong priority/other forms of speed control options available. Lead Absol is something I took inspiration from bean again, forgoing Pursuit in favor of SD for a pretty nice midground click against some leads scared off by Absol. I think this replay perfectly captures that as well, as SDing Turn 2 basically is a neutral exchange for me at worst, and amazing at best. If he Spikes Turn 2, which is already risky to go for because of Superpower, then I am +2 with Sash preserved. If he attacks to break sash, he does not get a Spike and I still remain at +2. If he switches out due to the Superpower threat, which is an extremely probable click here, then I get the benefit of both having no Spikes and keep Sash preserved without any loss on my end. I opt'd for Flash Fire > Intimidate on Arc bcuz having the outright fire immunity is great for preserving a tiny bit more longevity to fire off (now boosted!) Flare Blitzs. On this team, this also lets you switch into Scarf Fires trying to RK a boosted Tort. Helps take some pressure off Kabutops as well. The team is pretty fast paced outside of the fat pivot Uxie, which is mostly just to set rocks and provide safe entry for others. You can prob do a lot with Ape's last slot like Scarf Encore to provide setup for either of Tort or Kabu, or even Absol if you still fsr have it around.

pls post more dpp.
