Item knocked off but still useable?

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place but my opponent used knock off on two of my mons (swampert and forretress) but both continued to heal. Is this a bug? Is this intentional?

Just had the same thing happen in one of my games, I used knock off on multiple mons, and the effect seemed to end as soon as they switched out. The Smogon Dex says knock off lasts for the rest of the battle, so hope this gets clarified soon.

Hi. This bug is a side effect of this PR https://github.com/smogon/pokemon-showdown/pull/11488
It's a very simple fix. I'll take care of it tomorrow if no one does it earlier. Sorry for the inconvenience!
