Hello! A few months ago we promoted luisin to succeed chemcoop and at the time I mentioned that there were more changes in the works, now we've reached another one of those changes. I've been in this community since Gen 6 and with that I've seen a lot of the early stages of this community building from the ground up, and I'm glad to see how far it's come since then. There's still so much more room for Battle Stadium to grow though, and while it's always been an uphill battle as an official metagame that doesn't receive tournament support like VGC Doubles, I'm glad this community has continued to endure.
Unfortunately, while my appreciation for BSS has not faded, I find myself lacking the time and the interest to continue giving my position the attention it deserves so I will be stepping down. I don't want to see this community suffer for it though, so I've wanted to make sure I'm leaving this position behind to people who have the passion for BSS and energy to carry on the torch without just dumping everything onto new leadership all at once.
With that said, we'll be moving forward with promoting DerpySuX as luisin's new partner in crime! This may be a surprise to some, unsurprising to others, but both luisin and I have been waiting for this to finally be made official. Derpy has been a big help in BSS for a long time now and has helped in pretty much all areas at this point, so there can be no question of the experience and passion they have for this community. They've come a long way since entering this community, but I look forward to seeing how Derpy and luisin lead this community as we shift into new releases and inevitably a new generation of Pokemon!
