Tournament NDPL VI - Commencement Thread

Sucks to lose in semis again, although there was room for improvement on our end so ggs to the opposing team and gl in finals.
Winning is whatever to me now adays, however not being in a position to give community members and competitors alike a ring does suck. I know almost everyone personally so only wanna say a couple things
DripLegend Ty for agreeing to play, usually most of the ducks laugh off my NDPL attempts so this time around it was nice to have someone play for me. SVND Ubers seems terrible, my bad on that.
Nashrock I'll admit I wasn't thrilled to manage @ first since that meant I'd have to build and after LT, wasn't trying to do any of that. However you helped take the weight off, especially when I didnt bother doing anything for 3 weeks. Id gladly manage with you again in the future
3cho when I first came back to the site snaga drafted me for spl despite not having any real accomplishments and a really underwhelming list of results.(ended up getting smashed) Always said if I was in a position to help/put someone on I'd do so when possible, hope you like the community and continue playing in our tournaments. If you want to repay me, help someone on this site when you're in a position to do so, even if you don't gain anything from it.
Ty to those who came to help, definitely didnt go unnoticed.

As I promised, hi. Here to make the obligatory shoutouts post for another team that will always have a special place in my heart. 
Anti shoutouts to my dear friend Murphy Lawden for being someone who deserved to be terrorized by the legion in lineup PMs but also real shoutouts for giving me another amazing opportunity to be a manager, grow as a person, and meet some more great people along the way.

-- I guess sometimes our dreams do come true twin! Regardless, Toxin, the moment you decided to offer us this franchise was where it all started. The unspoken draft, the sweet codenames, kind letters to Murphy, and arguments on putting our real names next to our codenames in PMs :sweat:. Should have known this was another risk of loss in the semifinals where I'd have to win where it mattered, so my apologies on that. Velcroc, you were always solid and supportive every time I came around to your prowess as a manager, glad to see you join and us and be back at it again for my favourite endeavor yet, and I hope you had fun.

-- Single handedly carried the team, with Molly knowing every qotd reference while being the driver seat for pretty much every SS scout and team throughout the tour and winning just about every important game in SV OU, luuan not so far behind for the 1200s ladder hero only a few months ago, winning SS game to SS game in the most dominant weeks possible and having a team for what feels like just about anything. Also 24k total for the 2 best SS players and circuit finalists was an absolutely absurd underpay even by the standards of the tour but I won't complain.

-- For all your wisdom, we wouldn't have been the same without you. Given how hard you bossed the pool in such short notice I really wish I gave you more chances to play. Thanks for keeping us together when it mattered, and sorry about that conundrum.

On a more serious note; Tempo, I was really glad to finally pick you up, from bossing in random discord tours I keep somehow finding you in to the biggest tours in the biggest finals, you certainly did not disappoint from the day that auction timer went down, thanks a lot for putting up with that menance of a tiebreaker game in particular. slopcat, between 1 game and an entire season of carrying our teambuilding backs for us, you were right about having that dog in him, I sincerely hope everyone recognizes you for the amazing and enthuisastic newcomer you are for the community.

-- This really needs to said, I don't know how, but I want to try. If there is one thing that counts more than winning in a tour itself, it's everything else apparent you were to me the moment we decided to draft you. This was a rough tour, and in a tier that's somehow even rougher, please don't let this discourage you from being someone who I can count on most to make my next tier chapter a truly enjoyable one, don't stop being the inspiring person behind those absolute behemoths of a metagame discussion post everytime I come around to find something new, and don't hold back from being the ally I think we could all have in our life.

-- Agent Zoroark, signing out. Loved hearing that from you every time you won, which is to say a LOT of the time, and even moreso that you're a fantastic player that I had no hesitations retaining you for. Thanks for taking the time to recognize us our own talents in particular in accepting that special offer duly, I know NDPL hasn't been a great tour for you historically, but for everything you've done, I hope to help you in breaking that curse someday.

-- I think a lot of people overlooked how much you wanted to play this tier during the signups but one thing I knew for sure was Toxin always saw what others couldn't. The tier was definitely in bit of a rough shape and the matchups almost certainly terrible, so having someone as good as you be willing to step up to arguably the most challenging slot on ours was a pleasure. Hope all is well and you can continue to stick around in ND, but more importantly, go get, that, SCL, trophy.

-- NDRU Jesus, man with the near fulltime job of X-0ing the regular season, world travelling monster and mass media enthusiast. I can't believe you almost went undrafted and even less when it came to all the heinous bullshit you opted to win with each and every time. On another note, you dropping in for solid advice in other tiers such as UU and Doubles was something I wasn't around to expect, nice additional quirk and would love to see this more in future hands.

-- Double the trouble in the tier called Doubles Overused. Nice one. I'll be honest when I say it was tough for me and Toxin to choose between you guys, but I'm glad we managed to get you both. Great guys, hope the abstract nature of the tier you play doesn't stop you from achieving the heights you deserve, and special shoutouts to Chris Numbers for RFNing in tiebreaker.

-- I think the state of the tier and general headspace of Mono led to some tough concessions in the builder, but for what it was you did everything you could in your power to keep it close, and to me that's all I can ask for at times. Thanks for refusing to give up and offering all that support to Dorron though, was harder not to be down over it more than anything around there.

Oculars
-- Big Big OC. Between staying up overnight for our games and all the agency insight you had, It's clear to me you were in it to win it just as much as any of us were and I think you could've gotten a few had you played. Always appreciate having that around, and my bad for not being able to accommodate a game for you as well as soon as we qualified early for playoffs.
There were also too many helpers that joined us in semis and beyond to name, so on behalf of the Legion, special thanks to everyone who was willing to believe in us. I've seen what you each of you mean to us legionaires in our prep channels. Rough tiebreaker, but lots of deserving winners.

Super epic team with all super epic players, would team up with them all every tour.
