Posting on the forum and taking part in the various projects we have is super fun, but a lot of the action is in our chatrooms! Our Pokemon Showdown room is the place to be when testing a team on the simulator. Everyone is excited to start theorymonning and playing the Battle Stadium metagame. We are pretty consistently hosting tournaments in all of the various Battle Stadium formats! Our Discord server is much more laid back, and really good for when you've only got access to your smartphone. We have several channels set up so discussion of the various formats don't get mixed up as well.Staff Roles and What They do
PS! Room Roles
Room Owner (#): These are the leaders of the room and have final say in any matter.
Moderator (@): Room Moderators are the next highest authority and have the ability to mute, kick, and ban users from the room.
Driver (%): Driver is the basic Staff role, these users have the ability to mute and warn users.
Voice (+): Voices do not have any Staff powers, however they are trusted members of the room and should be treated as an authority figure.
Discord Roles
Kahuna: Admin role, reserved for current and former BSS Leaders.
Trial Captain: Basic moderator role. Trial Captains can mute/ban users and are in charge of keeping the server safe.
Totem: This role has no staff functionality, but users with this role are generally trusted to be positive presences and contributors to conversation in the server. They should generally be treated as authority figures in absence of other staff members.

The BSS community has been around for a long time and gone through many leadership transitions, we would like to acknowledge the dedication these users showed for BSS and its community. This list is very likely incomplete as most of the information about the early days of BSS leadership is lost to time. Thank you to cant say in particular for giving me the info he had on early leadership. I will update this as I get new info.
