Announcement Other Metagame of the Month - Voting

[Other Metagames]

November - Voting Stage​

Rules:
- Vote for a metagame by liking or loving the post (in this thread) that has its name on it. No other reaction will be counted.
- You may vote for as many metagames as you want.
- In order for your vote to count, you must have at least FIVE forum posts.
- If your account is less than one week old, your vote will NOT be counted.
- Votes may not be counted if your account's forum posts have a clear ulterior motive for being made, such as being eligible to vote.
- Do not promote an OM over another or voting for any specific OM on Smogon, Pokemon Showdown, and public Discords. This includes via private messages.
- Do not bash nominated OMs.
- The metagame with the most votes will receive a ladder on the main server of Pokemon Showdown for the month.

Breaking any of the rules above may lead to moderation actions being taken from OM Staff.

Voting will close on November 30th.

*in the event that a meta is unable to be coded and/or implemented onto the PS! main server, the metagame with the second most votes will get a ladder instead.

Bonus Type

Pokémon gain a bonus type from their Tera type.​

Camomons

Pokémon change their type to match the types of the first two moves in their moveslots.​

Cross Evolution

"Cross-evolve" to create Pokémon with unique stats, typing, and access to additional abilities and moves.​

Frantic Fusions

One Pokémon gains the traits of a Pokémon in its nickname, specifically its abilities and its base stats quartered (rounded down), added onto it.​

Formemons

Formemons is a metagame where alternate Formes of existing Pokemon can be used directly and without any restrictions!​

Fortemons

Putting a move in the item slot adds its effects to all moves.​

Inverse

The effectiveness of each attack is inverted.​

Pokemoves

You can put a Pokemon in a moveslot (Pokemove) that will have 8PP, 100Acc, the same type as the Pokemon's primary type, as much power as the highest stat between Atk and SpA with the corresponding category, and finally, as an effect it gives the primary ability until you switch out.​

Pure Hackmons

Anything that can be hacked in-game and is usable in LAN battles is allowed. No bans.​

Tier Shift

Pokémon below OU get +10 to each stat barring HP and an additional +5 to each stat for each tier below OU they are.​

Leaders Choice of the Month is Bio Mech Mons!



*If Bio Mech Mons is unable to be programmed in time as a complex OM concept Camomons will substitute it if it isn't ready and BMM will be Leader Choice of the following month.

It is looking like as the caveat in the previous post mentioned that Bio Mech Mons is probably not gonna be finished and relatively bug free in time due to the sheer complexity of programming it. Not to mention that currently dhelmise is the only active programmer in the OM section and has commitments beyond just programming on top of all they do for the wider Smogon / Showdown community, please be thankful for them doing this at all.

As a result, Camomons will be the LCotm of November and BMM will continue to be stated to be featured in the following LCotm until it is either ready for it or not.
