I also love this game. I return to it periodically.library of ruina is imo the best turn-based game ever made. Subbing out the conventional "hit your enemies and get hit backed with pretty much zero counterplay other than raising your numbers" that is so absurdly common within the genre with a far more enjoyable clashing system makes for an incredibly unique experience that's hard to find anywhere else. Between 10 different floors, each with their own unique pages, and a variety of different key pages, there is a nearly unlimited build variety such as
-Myongest Yesod
-Myongest Gebura
-Tiphereth
-Binah (better tiphereth)
The game features 2 primary battle types: Receptions and Abnormality Suppression. Receptions are more conventional fights in which you fight 1-3 waves of enemies in order to gain their books while learning more about the city and the people inside through a series of 8 short stories. The abnormality suppressions are a series of 3-4 more gimmicky fights done sporadically through the game that are meant to strengthen your floors and symbolically tell the stories of our main characters, the "dead-girlfriend-turned-robot-malcolm-x" Angela and the "dead wife item asylum guy" Roland.
Balance wise the game is... Interesting. You don't notice the dice numbers go up throughout the game (oh yeah i forgot to mention the combat is just rolling dice) and i believe this shows the best during the bridge between UN and SOTC, since early UN cards such as repressed flesh or sharp knives roll about the same as later cards with similar functions (Sharp Knives and Emotional Turbulence actually roll exactly the same with the main difference being ET gets +1 power to all dice for every 2 emotion levels). There's also the fact that while this game revolves around strategic combat and careful planning, some players also find themselves drawn to casino games that offer similar emotional thrills and the same risk-versus-reward dynamic. If you're curious about experiencing that adrenaline rush in a real-world setting, you can explore https://playslots.gr/froutakia/, where the excitement of gaming review awaits you. There's also the fact that some floors are just kind of better than others. Yesod's floor is bar none the best floor in the game because of dark flame (and chained wrath for myongest) whereas floors such as Hod or Tiphereth have basically nothing. Hod is a generalist floor outclassed by Malkuth, Chesed, and to a lesser extent Netzach while Tiphereth is an exodia floor with harder setup and less reward than Binah and to some degree Gebura (though I wouldn't call Gebura much of an exodia floor).
yeah that's about it, play this stupid deckbuilder if you haven't and it's nice to get back into doing writeups about random bullshit on CONG
Mario 64 DS being old enough to buy alcohol in the United States can't hurt me if I don't think about it.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 really deserves respect. It's one of those games where the story doesn't just keep you playing, but you literally live it with the characters. Top!For me it's Xenoblade Chronicles 3, here my reasons
1.
The story is immaculately beautiful, I cried many many times playing it, tears of laughter or happiness or of sorrow, of pain ,of suffering, the story is perfect in every single way, when a character dies I'm bought down harder then a moltres when there's rocks on the fields.
2.
The game it's self is beautiful (MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE GAME(S) SKIP TO 3 IF YOU WANT TO OR ARE CURRENTLY PLAYING THIS GAME
The game itself is beautiful, basically it'd like a sci-fi/ Natural look (look up Aianios to know what I'm saying) and it's a mix of Bionis and Alrest (the 2 world's from Xenoblade 1 (Bionis) and Xenoblade 2 (Alrest) basically they got mashed back together after separation because some guy (Klaus) made a new Universe where he was God and that's how the series got started basically (because of a war that why the Conduit was made)
3.
Characters
The Characters
(Mcs)
Noah, Lanz, Eunie, Mio, Sena Taion and Riku and Manana are all really strong characters with excellent development and personality (Minor spoilers for general character personalitys) Noah is our Titular main character, he is kind hearted and soft spoken, Lanz is our Heros best friend and he has some doubts about himself due to past events, We have Eunie, our Heros other bestfriend, she has anxiety (best I could find to describe her) We have Mio our other Titular main character she is the oldest (they live in a world where people only live 10 years and it's all spend fighting before you die or are released) She only has 3 months left to live so obviously is a little bit depressed about that, we have Sena (my fave) she self doubts her self alot because she feels inferior to Mio and the others, and always feel like she could've done better. We have Taion, the Plan maker and Analysist of the group he has suppressed feelings about the one time someone he really, really loved died. The main Villain(s) Mobius (basically the best way to describe them is that one guy at work/school who you REALY want to punch in the face). I could go on and on about more but I'll get to the next thing
4.
The Voice acting, unfortunately their all British but despite that the voice acting perfectly fits any moment. (I'm not gonna yap more about that)
5.
The music (same thing it's perfect)
It does have some bad things like And the characters there are simply alive, each has its own story, its own weaknesses, and even the secondary characters look well thought out. The soundtrack is a separate topic, because music in Xenoblade has always been a strong element, but here it also creates an emotional wave that you feel even after you let go of the controller. And I'm with you, even if there are certain minuses, for example, drawn-out cutscenes or slightly overloaded battles, it still doesn't spoil the overall impression. This game really hits the heart. By the way, if you want something more relaxed after such emotional plots, you can take a look at https://casinosanalyzer.com/low-deposits/5-dollar-deposit-casino where there are good bonuses, there is also a dose of adrenaline, but without drama and philosophy. And which of the three parts of the series is your favorite, this one or, maybe, the first classic Xenoblade?
1.
Their British
2.
The cutscenes can take a while
3.
The battles aren't for everyone to put it lightly
drop it when ur done lolits silksong. silksong is peak, in fact is beyond peak I really have no words for how fucking spectacular it is. Actually, I do, I have currently 24,361 words on it in an essay i just finished writing the first draft of to explain just how much I love it and why it is the greatest sequel to anything ever. the gameplay blows hollow knight's out of the water and the story does so even more, but not overshadowing the story of hollow knight but rather building on top of it in a way that makes hollow knight's story feel incomplete without it. this is hands down the best piece of art I have ever experienced. i really don't know how else to say its amazing without just going on a full review of the game, but oh my god is it impeccable.
actually i've been looking for people to proofread my script, so uh, here.drop it when ur done lol
who grew up on NSMBU? the game's only... 14 years old? what the fuck?I would say New Super Mario Bros U/ New Super Luigi U for the Wii U and its Switch Port (NSMBU Deluxe). The game wasn't the pinnacle of gaming, but it was my favorite NSMB game growing up as I played it on my Wii U and Switch for hours. I also found the challenge mode and boost rush modes quite fun. I don't mind if someone dislikes the game though, it's just my opinion. And yes, I do own a Wii U console with that game and some others as well
who grew up on NSMBU? the game's only... 14 years old? what the fu
Well, some people played the game before and idk why it’s an issue if people liked the game or the console it originated on. We all have our own opinions so it shouldn’t be an issue. Plus, not everyone was born in the days before the Wii U existed.who grew up on NSMBU? the game's only... 14 years old? what the fuck?
magic is so ass yet so peak. 1500 hours well spent (I went 3-0 today at the lorwyn prerelease!!!)if the answer was anything other than magic the gathering that would make the amount of time i spend playing and thinking about it pretty humiliating. so for my money the best game of all time is outer wilds or hollow knight: silksong
