WELCOME TO THE FIRST EDITION OF BSS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!​

This is the signup thread for aspiring managers. From the signups, 6 managers will be chosen in this year's BSSCL. Make sure you know the responsibilities of a manager before you sign up:
- Managers are required to participate in the auction to draft their players during the week of November 16th (time will be determined later with all managers).
- Each team can have a manager +1 co-manager, one of which can be bought as player for 15k
- Managers must select the lineup for the week, and send it to me before the week starts. Please be punctual about this.
- Managers are responsible for their team's behavior. Make sure members of your team are abiding by the rules and remain active.
- Managers are expected to facilitate substitutions when necessary.

The manager selection process is quite subjective but things such as prior and/or current involvement within the BSS community and previous and/or current managerial experience will be weighted.
Format:

- 6 teams to play in an 6v6 regular season, followed by a 6v6 playoffs stage featuring the top 4 teams

The format for BSS Champions League I here is the following:

- SV Battle Stadium Singles Regulation J (1)
- SV Battle Stadium Singles Regulation J (2)
- SV Battle Stadium Singles Regulation I
- SV Battle Stadium Singles Regulation H
- SV Battle Stadium Singles Regulation E
- Gen 9 BSS Factory

100k budget for a min of 10 players, no max player cap
- Bidding prices start at 3k

The managers will be picked by the host and the BSS forum staff.

Why should you be selected to manage?: Staraptor is one of the best bss sv players having good records every bsspl he plays and trying to get some manager experiences in. Myself managed last bsspl and managed 3 officials and countless other tournaments at this point. We are motivated to run it back after losing in semi finals last bsspl.

Why should you be selected to manage?: Did pretty good perf during BSS Masters, finals in last BSSPL as player (played non-current gen but still), and semis in BSS Factory open, also participated and managed teamtours such as Dwcop and PMPL)
Slikkles has managing experience aswell as he managed RUCL, UMPL, FCL and Rands FL (featuring BSS Factory). He's a great BSS Factory player too, almost played it in RBTT

and no worries Aldrich i'll make sure there will be no tiebreaks (i'll try)

Why should you be selected to manage?: We both are currently managing CCC6 and the iconic Australian Wi-Fi Password also managed OMFL once and reached semifinals, we have good team chemistry already managing one tour together and while we aren't... you know.... experience in BSS, we'll of course make every effort to learn as much as we can about the tier.
We both know how to scout every player with potential, including the diamonds in the rough, and we'll take the lessons we've learned from managing CCC and adapt to the new environment

Why should you be selected to manage?: Dex and I have worked together for over a year now as moderators of the SS subforum as well as managers of the Baltimore Slowpokes in Masters League this year, where the team marched to the first seed with an undefeated regular season. Both of us also have significant managerial experience, having managed in tournaments such as SSPL (two editions for both of us with a win for my team last year), RoAPL and various CAP tournaments.

Slowpoke Fan and I do not have much experience with BSS. However, we do have experience in fostering a learning environment for up and coming players seeking to make their mark on Smogon. I would vow to provide incessant support for burgeoning talent, giving oft-overlooked players their chance to make a better name for themselves in BSS.

Why you should be selected to manage?: I have played in the last 3 BSSPL's winning the most recent one. I have managed masters league to finals, oras underground to finals, managed ORASPL, won SMPL in the past, currently managing OUFL and playing in OUPL. I also have managed a bunch of discord pls and ofc play BSS . Miyoko has managed a bunch of tours like SMPL, won SSPL, managed Solomods PL, NDWC, OGPL, UMBD and is an active member of the community.
We both bring extensive managerial experience and are looking forward to a chance to manage this tour.

Why you should be selected to manage?: I'm the semifinalist on 2024's bss circuit, qualyfing both 2024 and 2023. I supported this year's bsspl team champion, participated on past bsswc on latam's team since 2023 (manager on 2024) and surprised with my tournament performances.
I have large experiencie building on all the formats played on this tournament, i've been capable of provide high Quality teams and support from all the formas above.
Seroo is an active member on the bss community, managed past bsspl, bsswc and participated on other side tours. We combined have a massive managing and hosting experiencie on premier leagues, world cups, prized team tournaments inside smogon and outside Smogon.
I belive we should be choosed as managers since our experiencie is enough on the format side, on the managing vision and on the winning throne. We have been part of the bss community and contributed on his growth, and we will he happy to participate, tryhard and win this first edition of BSS Champions League.
