Tournament Rules:

  • This tournament is part of the National Dex Ubers circuit. (Type A)
  • General tournament rules and regulations.
  • Best of three, double elimination.
  • This tournament will use the standard National Dex Ubers banlist, which can be found on Smogon's strategy dex or on the Pokemon Showdown Teambuilder.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on the SmogTours server preferably (PS! is acceptable if both parties agree to play on the main server).
  • SV cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
  • National Dex-specific mechanics.
  • Replays are required

On Tuesday I missed our team due to an unexpected meeting, but Silver graciously offered to reschedule. The difference in our time zones and busy personal lives makes finding a time difficult, but we scheduled for Sunday morning. After messaging Silver asking if we could play slightly earlier I fell asleep again and am going to give him the win and let both of us go sleep. Congrats to Silver for winning the 2025 Summer Seasonal!
 
It's definitely not the way I want to win this tour, especially for the loser bracket side. Unfortunately, after a brief discussion with bumbo, it seems it's hard for me to sway his decision any more. I hope he could change his mind, but it seems he must put some real-life issues with a higher priority in the foreseeable future, which is totally reasonable. bumboclaat One day, you will definitely win the ND Ubers trophy you deserve, and I hope we can play more exciting games in the future.
Somehow now I've become the first player to win multiple ND Ubers individual trophies. I hope next time I can win with a more convincing way.
