Legends ZA is too different from the standard battle format to be coded into PS properly. There is a fanmade and somewhat speculative ZA OU ladder that is playable with the new Megas though.

I'm a new pokemon showdown player and for some reason my account is locked. (Username is Kingsly16_07) Some one the internet say it may because I share a connection to locked player but I use a college network which is the only I have avaliable. Is there anyway to get my account unlocked? Is it possibly due to it being a new account?

i am currently unable to like any posts on smogon. The like button simply does not appear for me. Is there any solution for this?
Not sure if this is the place to ask, but I didn't want to just DM staff about it because the answer should probably be public.
Re: the recent announcement about AI art: is this banning the use of AI in an "official" capacity (site projects, art threads, PS! avatars, etc)? Or is it just banning any and all AI (forum avatars, smogoff shitposts, etc)? Lots of circumstantial evidence towards the former, but the phrasing is very vague.
For the record, I also think there should be a rule against AI plagiarism and would much rather have our very talented community contributing art to those things!! It's just not really relevant to like, posting memes.

Since we don't require artist credits for forum profile pictures/banners or memes being posted (key word require, there's still plenty of artists out there that would very much prefer to be credited on any use of their works), there is not going to be a ban on AI-generated versions of those. You can argue that simply posting something from an AI source is unethical and counterproductive to the artist community as a whole, but it's not something we plan on moderating.
There is an existing writing related AI plagiarism rule, we just haven't gotten to updating them for art as well.

Where/how do i find tournaments with open signups
The easiest way is probably to join the Smogon Discord server as we have an announcement channel in there where forum tournaments are announced
Yeah, the mechanics changes in Legends ZA are huge — it’d be really hard to implement properly in standard PS

On PS, when you deal damage to your opponent it only shows a whole number percentage of what you did. How is this rounded?
yo on smogon forums do yall manually insert the images for mons or is there a way to have the sprites there without having to manualy insert them into the text

This might be a dumb question/unrelated, but Natu/Xatu are my favorite pokemon (surprise surprise) and I really want to use them. Is there any obscure metagame or anything where Natu/Xatu are viable? I'm new to Smogon so I didn't know where to post this
Check out the Xatu StrategyDex page! Browse through the generations, any metagame with a strategy will have value enough for Xatu in it that makes it worth using, whether it's dominant or niche. You can do the same for Natu, but there's less space for NFE Pokemon to succeed compared to FE Pokemon usually.

I'm having a problem with inserting images into a message in a Smogon thread like this one.
The issue is that when I insert an image into a message, it also automatically comes off as an attachment file. Sometimes I don't want the attachment, but when I delete the attachment it also deletes the image in the message as well.
How do I insert the image into the message without needing attaching files?
