Happy thanksgiving! im stuck at home with a fever so i figured id make a post to be somewhat productive. heres some of my favorite recent builds

My take on "slop" inspired by dazis early slop builds during this past advpl. Jim used it in videos as well so its prob somewhat known atp. This team is really trade heavy. ive done silk scarf on tar here and refresh over sub on mence as well. movesets are pretty malleable. spammed it throughout adv gc and finished at top 4.

Directly inspired by a 6 lew made tho i changed pm every set to fit my preferences. was able to get this up past 1750 pretty easily and its alot of fun.

Pretty straightforward. just attack into tar t1 then boom t2 if it dds since jolly tar is rare this line is pretty easy to pull off. from there the combo of lax and suicune goes crazy once u clear sand with zard. these style of "specoff" are really the only kinda i trust at this point. Gengar is the way becuse it not only can boom into a tar or bliss trap but it also helps a bit vs opposing lax so meta isnt overwhelmed (youll have to boom lax or run wisp or hypno ig)

Built this to play Genexys for Mushi league since hes a flygon spammer i really wanted to try DD Beam Tar. this is what i came up with. waters can be a little annoying to deal with but u have ways to play around them.

Sorry for not going super in depth i feel these kinda speak for themselves in how they opperate tho and im too sick to think out a through explanation lol. Either way i hope you like the teams ive had alot of fun using these!

had some time this morning after wrapping gifts and thought id share some of my favorite teams ive been using lately.

If youve been playing adv for a while you may recognize my inspiration for this team. the idea started with the blastoise flygon core i saw in Blue's Slaking team. i wanted to make it a little more my pace and try out some sets i dont use often. Thief skarm really brings this team together acting as a pseudo knock off vs opposing skarm and forre or something like gengar which is huge for this team. blastoise is pretty bad honestly i think the one niche it has is mostly overshadowed by cloyster as a offensive spinner (cloy ofc also has spikes so just better utility overall) but its pretty great at threatening gengar as it switches in and has alot better general bulk than cloy. This team did pretty well for me in testing.

The Brainrot core is pretty awesome and has quite a bit of flexibility. I really think it needs one of Gar or Aero to truly work its best. 4 sand immune and 3 toxic immune (starmie basically is) Pokémon makes this team very resilient to passive damage. HP fight skarm is pretty great here as it stops BKC tar from clicking focus punch which is huge when using Regi and Endpert as your rock resists. Hp Steel also works on this. (s/o juke because fight skarm is heat) Gar can ofc be boom here but i found taunt was more my taste when testing.

This is directly Inspired by and old team made by a user who will not be named. The original had Gyarados and Steelix but to me felt very difficult to pilot and CB Mence and a Metagross really help give this team some firepower. using mence over gyara gives it some notable flaws namely it doesnt switch into opposing metagross well. I think along these lines are really the only way to make Top work. Double intimidate core is amazing vs tar. alongside wish support and bulky mag it really lets Top pivot around. Curselax is ofc a great fit on these slower bulky mag teams. Not a perfect team by any means but was really fun to use.

Its not a post by me without a Houdoom team lol. made this trying to build Spikless Zapdos. Salac cune lead is very fun i liked a team mielke made for pak last spl that used it as a mix off lead. This team stuggles vs Zap so trading with it right away helps alot. Bulk on the Zap here helps alot vs Salamence which is otherwise really annoying. Loom lets you get away with leftieless metagross here. pretty different from my previous doom teams but ive really enjoyed using it.
