Parker's Point: This whole era, man, was really something. A window in time to the darker alleyway of the cape genre that marvel more often than not shies away from.

IMDb Synopsis: In an afterlife way-station resembling a major city, the lives of the recently deceased are examined in a court-like setting.

#Soft Flex
Film: A Simple Favor
Genre: Comedy, Mystery, Thriller
Description: Shortly after Stephanie, a parenting vlogger, makes new friends with an uptight, upper-class parent at her daughter's school, the latter goes missing and Stephanie takes it upon herself to do the investigating into her whereabouts. It's hard to sum up the tone of the movie, other than to say it's a great and unique blend of humour and tension.

Also, I've been tipped off that another upcoming movie (The Housemaid, starring Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney) invokes a similar vibe, which is a tall task and yet to be confirmed, but I am intrigued!

Apple Note: I don't think the synopsis gives this show any justice... Honestly the most hilarious, yet twisted, show I have seen for quite some time...

Parker's Point: It's crazy that they planted the seed for Civil War in The Defenders shows and then none of them were in the movie. Still peak tho.
