Hello and welcome to the sign-ups for Multifaction Recruitment Mafia 3 - Fire and Ice (MRM3). The first two definitely weren't perfect but you know what they say - third time's the charm! You wouldn't want to miss a charmed game, would you?

If you are new and did not play in Multifaction Recruitment Mafia 2 (MRM2), that is totally fine. I wrote a beginner's guide that it would be good for you to peruse at some point between now and when the game starts: Beginner's Guide.

If you played in MRM2 or followed it closely, you can probably get away with just reading the 'patch notes' (i.e. what changed between last game and this game): Patch Notes.

If you are a crazy person or someone who has a lot of free time, the full rules and guidelines for the game can be found here: Full Rules. READING THIS IS NOT NECESSARY TO SIGN UP.

Finally, the publicly-available ability information sheet mentioned in the rules can be found here: Publicly-Available Ability Information. See the same caveats as above - if you don't feel like digging into this, do not feel any need to do so.

Other details:
- Game size is 48, no more. If you are willing to be a sub in the case I get too many sign-ups (lol) you can note that to me privately. I expect getting that many players will be a struggle, so if you are on the fence about how much time investment you can put into this please sign up and then privately send me a message on Discord noting that you want a lower-effort role.
- Game will start either next Saturday, November 29th, or when the NOC ends (whichever comes later).
- If you have any role requests please also make those privately. I cannot guarantee I will be able to accommodate all (or even any) requests, but will take them under advisement when assigning roles.

Hey everyone!

First, a big thank you to everyone who has signed up thus far. Really appreciate the interest, and as a reminder please join the Discord server here: Discord Server.

Second, unfortunately it doesn't seem like we quite have the number of players needed to run this game at this time. I'm going to be delaying the game until early next year, as I've polled a number of people who can't play due to existing time commitments / burnout and believe that that is the best chance of getting sufficient interest.

For now, here's what you need to know:
- If you signed up, I'll drop you a ping when the new sign-ups go up. I won't automatically assume you're in the game in the next round of sign-ups or anything like that, I get that schedules can change.
- I will keep this thread open in the meantime - if you want to sign up here in the next month or two please do so, you'll basically be signing up to receive a ping from me when the 'real' game goes up.
- We haven't settled on a firm date for when this will get run back, but it will be January or February.
- In the meantime, the mod team is trying to get a small OC or mafia-like OC game set up to fill the space through the holidays. TO BE CLEAR THE MODS HAVE NOT 100% COMMITTED TO THIS YET, ultimately it is up to Celever as well as the rest of the mod team. Just trying to give a bit of information so that people know what to expect.
