Pending Terraria-Style Death Messages For April Fools

Perhaps it's a bit early to suggest this, but I thought that this might make for a silly gag for next year's April Fools.
Terraria has some really zany and exaggerated death messages, so I was thinking that it would be funny if during April Fools, the usual "(name of Pokemon) fainted!" message was changed to these ridiculous and sometimes brutal death messages that you can see in Terraria. For example, if a Pikachu KOs a Squirtle with Thunderbolt, the normal message would be:

The opposing Squirtle Fainted!

But on April Fools, it might be:

The opposing Squirtle was ganked by Pikachu's Thunderbolt!

The new death messages could also be based on how the target was KO'd. The usual format would be "(Pokemon A) was _____ by (Pokemon B)'s (Move)". But say, if a Pokemon succumbed to a status effect then the message could reflect how they met their end, just like in Terraria. For example:

Poison: "Pikachu couldn't find the antidote."
Burn: "Pikachu couldn't put the fire out."

If a Pokemon was KO'ed by an entry hazard, then the death message would list the hazard as the attacker, and if the Pokemon wasn't KOed by a direct attacker (like if the Pokemon KO'ed itself through recoil damage) then there would be no attacker listed in the message.

Example hazard KO: "Pikachu was sent to MissingNo.'s house by Stealth Rocks."
No attacker: "Pikachu got murked."

This probably isn't worth the time to implement, but I thought it would be nice to suggest nonetheless. Let me know what you think!
