Hi there, I'm known in some places as a fairy. I like recording team tournament auctions and snake drafts. I try to do them as much as I can, for when I know auctions are going to happen. I've been doing this for about a year and a half at this point. They're all silent footage of the auction happening naturally, though in a handful there's a commentary link in the description on occasions when I've recorded my captaincy in an auction, or just when I've had the time during an auction free to commentate as a spectator.

Additionally, I've done a few broadcasts of auctions, such as for the Draft Champions League and a few RarelyUsed auctions, the latter of which you can find on their channel. I enjoy doing these too, when I can! If you (as a format/community) want to commentate an auction and want to broadcast it, reach out to me, I'm usually amenable to try and make them work, time permitting.

In a perfect world, I record every auction for every format and community, including tournaments that aren't hosted on the forums! I rarely find out about these, though, so do reach out to me regardless if you'd like your auction recorded (as a leader, host, captain, or player!). I am a human and therefore fallible, and also one or two people have told me once or twice that I may be doing a thing or two too much around the site. I even have missed forum-hosted tours before. I'd always appreciate people reaching out to me about their auctions when times are set so I can ensure recording if possible.

cheers

What happened to the Youtube channel?
- On Oct 28 2025, Youtube suspended my account for spam, deceptive practices, & scams. I appealed formally via their system, which was rejected within 24 hours of appeal. I then communicated with someone on the Youtube twitter accounts team, who informed me that the ban would remain in place. I was not given any additional information on why my account was suspended beyond that link. Youtube does not leave videos from suspended accounts accessible, so any uploaded videos are currently unavailable. I do not agree with the decision Youtube has made, but I have no avenue to further explore a possible review.

Why are you using the Internet Archive?
- I researched many options for replacement. I opted to not attempt ban evasion with Youtube, but there were very few that met all the criteria I needed. For one, uploading and storage had to be freely available (I have not had a job since 2023 and cannot pay subscription fees indefinitely), the videos had to be accessible (eliminating P2P or torrent-type sites that don't actually make the videos watchable), and I had to feel confident on the platform's long-term reliability (eliminating a number of flash-in-the-pan or startup companies). My options left from my point of view were DailyMotion and the Internet Archive, and the former has a 2-hour length cap on videos, many auctions often surpassing that. I spoke briefly with someone at the Archive, and my understanding is that I am not being discouraged from moving this project there.

Will we get back old auction recordings?
- They should already exist on the website! A few videos did not get uploaded on purpose, such as manager drafting commentaries that I had never intended during recording to be available in such public a fashion. They had originally intended to be uploaded as unlisted videos shared with only co-captains, teams, or other people, but never the public, so those videos are no longer available given IA's lack of ability to have a similar structure. Other than that, however, every video that existed before should be existing currently on the new system.

This is a post for some links to IA navigational tools that I intend to implement once I get to that point, as well as some guide videos.

Please do not post in this thread, I wish for this thread to be easily usable as a tool for navigation itself, since IA's navigation is not as intuitive to Youtube nor is the average user familiar with it.

I did not upload any video last weekend.

However, as of today, every prior auction I have recorded now exists on the Internet Archive. This is not every auction that has ever been, I've missed auctions since starting this project. But if I've ever recorded an auction and shared it, it should be available again. If it's not, reach out. All posts I've made in commencement threads linking to auctions should be edited to link to the modern IA link, with huge credit to goldmason for editing things in places I didn't have access to.

I will spend some time cleaning up tag errors and better synchronize them, but for the massive majority of cases, you should be good to use the standard search and tag systems on the linked page above to find your favorite format, generation, community, whatever, and see any auctions connected to them.

Thank you all for the support. Thrilled to finally have everything available again and to not be constantly looking over at a pending upload 24/7.
