I random cook it for daharan in RUCL W1, Scarf Gengar is a decent speed control that overspeed most mon, i don't think 4a is really good so i bring trick break somemon like muk, tspikes is another interesting move that help pawmot weaken ground type like hippo/gastro.
Potential edit: seed bomb over knock on pawmot
Initial testing went well (6-4, but one of that four was a repeat battle).
Trick on Gengar did, in fact, thoroughly save me vs a Muk-A, and I found Acid Spray to be hilariously good. Before now, I'd considered Pawmot to be a niche revival gimmick, but after using this team, I no longer have any trouble seeing it as a secret powerhouse.
Took that Seed Bomb option over Knock Off on Pawmot, and the results against Quagsire are hilarious. My big concern is that my opponents often have enough poison + removal that T-Spikes on Gengar aren't showing up. Since I've had some issues with my opponents getting to outspeed me after a single buff, would T-Wave or Destiny Bond be good on Gengar over T-Spikes?
The biggest issues I had were Armarouge and Bisharp; I could just not be playing carefully enough around them, but if just one key check (Paw for Bisharp or Goodra for Arma) drops to half, then I just plain lose a mon at best and found myself just screwed. The Bisharp sweep took me being battered, not having Paw left, and only being able to burn it with Talon (plus miscalling a few moves), and the Arma sweeps... I get that Goodra can switch in and Draco Meteor without giving Arma anything, but if Arma attacks on the switch and then retreats, I've basically got nothing.
Is there something I could do about that?
