SammyCe123 (AAA/BH/GG/STAB) vs RoFnA (MnM)
AAA though RoFnA won and Sammy didn't bringing webs is criminal and Betticus kind of misplayed. GG both players kind of won off preview with something unaccounted for, Sammy's plays seemed cleaner though. For STAB Sammy brought a pretty boring looking team and RoFnA obv just took something in this case from Tech, had a commanding matchup but got every turn wrong with the "Hands that autowon", so leaning Sammy here based on plays. MnM I think is probably RoFnA's strongest tier and though he misplayed the ending to lose to RNG I think he has a minor edge.
BH - Interesting because both players lost last round and neither of their teams were particularly inspiring, but Sammy's team at least looks like hes going out of his comfort zone while RoFnA just took a mid TTTech team and played it sus too. Definitely going with Sammy but idk if he wants to play it particularly much here.
pannu (BH/GG/MnM/STAB) vs Osake (AAA)
AAA I think both teams were interesting though both had a Pao that lost, pannu's team looks more interesting but I believe the details are horrifying to look at so Osake probably has the edge. For GG pannu's team was interestingly dubious maybe while Osake just brought Rain, I think this is like pannu's main tier nowadays so should be favoured there. MnM pannu didn't get to play but Osake kind of demolished so something went wrong there. STAB I don't like either team because pannu just brought the most boring TingPex stuff while Osake loaded Sun, Sun is worse though. A lot of these are probably pretty close I just liked pannu's teams a bit more.
BH - pannu kind of just won because lepton didn't bring a good team, Osake won but I don't recall who made that team and I like pannu's team more. I think this is one of pannu's more favourable tiers but pannu still hates the tier so probably won't be played.
Icemaster (GG/MnM) vs QT (AAA/BH/STAB)
Though AAA is like QT's weakish tier it's also not Ice's strong tier and he brought webs. GG I think is probably close but Ice seemed to have gotten a bad mu? but played decently overall and the team seemed fine. QT's MnM game last week was probably the cleanest I've seen from them in a while but QT also was ghosting their opponents which is negative points. In STAB we watched Ice bring back the "ban zama" sentiment after winning with it when the opposing team had like nothing for it, but QT played pretty well and has a more interesting looking team.
BH - Probably by far QT's most consistent tier, idk what monstrosity Ice loaded last week but QT should be able to have this and obv this is likely QT's first pick so will see play as long as QT loses a game.
damflame 3 (GG) vs Treeko928 (AAA/BH/MnM/STAB)
Both of these guys got clean sweeps last round which is pretty impressive but gives more limited stuff to work off of. Treeko's AAA game was fascinating featuring double Volt and he played some turn quite well. GG really not sure how damflame is, I think treeko played alright in his game and the team looks sound enough but going off the "if damflame has french support then french gg support is pretty powerful". MnM I have no clue maybe I could flip a coin but I'll base off of Treeko having better support maybe? STAB I think Treeko is favoured by playing the tier more and I've heard comments about damflame's team being seen a long time ago, though his plays in the game were pretty suspicious to make the game "close"
BH - This would be a pretty hype match if it got played because I think both players have some novel ideas to build around which is pretty rare sight nowadays. Playing skill is also like very comparable but I'm going to give advantage Treeko for not using the teams in roomtours making him more difficult to scout.
