Tournament UUbers PL II - Commencement

The time of auction has been set to December 14, 2025 at 3pm -5
Bit late but Ocean did some shoutouts already for SM and forgot one of the other most active people in the tier, fellow council member LannyVA. They have put a lot of time into the tier and have been instrumental to testing out lower usage pokemon as well as finding new mons to start using, so I thought it would be a shame if they didn't get a mention here.

Gonna draft my VR for the top SM Ubers UU players.
Now, the tier in itself is really new and doesn't have many mainers. But the metagame knowledge would be valuable in building and helping you secure a stronger team to atleast give you the MU advantage. Now a lot of this is going to come from my knowledge of the replays from SM games(that's right, went through all replays of SM Ubers UU so you wouldn't have to. I am a real nice guy right?)
S rank: SBAP, Mileage,Mozonite
Starting strong, we have SBAP, known Ubers UU veteran, very knowledgable, and a good clicker in his own right. SBAP has built a reputation as a formidable player and is rightly the TL for SM Ubers UU.
next is Mileage, a lesser known name here and extremely underrated. In a way I'd rate him above even SBAP. He is THE best builder in SM Ubers UU at the moment. He is also a solid clicker. The only caveat being he might be a bit inconsistent. But, when he gets it right, you are going to have a very hard time taking him down. On his best day, he can beat the best player in the tier(he beat one of Fc or Ewin in SV Ubers UU, unsure which one iirc - refer SUUberbowl), but on his worst day can lose against a dude trolling with a Cloyster in Ubers UU.
Mozonite is not in the tour, but would be a crime to not list the best player of these 3. However, struck out as he is not playing.
A Rank:FishyRoads, Frito, Vision
FishyRoads while not council, has been in SM Ubers UU since its inception and has such seen the metagame evolve throughout. He has also had a lot of games and has earned his spot here.
So seeing Frito here on top might seem wierd, but while they probably just started playing like 4-5 days back, they prove why they are the TL for Ubers UU as a whole. Frito has some extremely quality SM Ubers UU games. Only reason I even had the cahones to put them this low(yes an A+ is low for Frito), is only because they have played for only the last 5 days. Had it been 10 days, would have been S rank here.
Vision isn't playing this tour and it is a shame because he is one of the most insane builders in the tier. Nonetheless, it means knowledgeable SM picks are gonna be going a bit lacking.
B rank: IlikeEatingCrayon, LannyVA,OceanicGamer, Termnal, Ifritt
It would be a crime to make an SM list and not include IlikeEatingCrayons. Our resident Crayon eater is surprisingly really great at SM meta knowledge. Also they are just a wholesome person. (While not SM relevant, they are also SS UUbers TL, and also won UMFL playing UUbers for Slashing Leaves having the best UUbers record for their team iirc).
Damn it, every where I go, I find this guy OceanicGamer, its almost like he is the Ubers UU guy. He's decent, but I predict that he will not get drafted for this UUbPL. Mark my words.
LannyVA is a very underrated pick, very knowledgable on the metagame and also a decent player. while not your Mileage or SBAP, the guy can cook teams.
Termnal is relatively new to SM UUbers, but has decent metagame knowledge. What they lack in metagame knowledge as compared to the rest here, they make up for in their clicking.
Ifritt is another name that has been here since inception. Really valuable source of information and teambuilding. Would highly recommend them as a builder or even building support.
B- rank: Bazingatron,Manatee, Tubeknight, Kanha Greninja
Bazingatron, oh Bazingatron. Went positive in UMFL, knows the metagame(also knows SS and SV). They are furthermore a fantastic metagame presence. Seriously guys draft him.
Manatee is not playing and is the lowest rated of the SM UUbers council, but there is a reason he is still council. I would rate them a lot higher if only they played much, but seeing that they have been involved in irl stuff, they will be rusty at the game rn.
I would rate the Tubenut Neimad as the final decent metagame knowledge pick. Very underrated and has very inconsistent game play. They have a very unique mind which makes them quite decent, but at the same time, he's canadian, ugggggg (jk, really worth a draft).
Kanha Greninja is a newer player to the SM UUbers metagame and while I would not consider them top tier, they are certainly decent and from the games they have played would back them as a mildly knowledgable candidate. Worth a minimal bid if you are looking for someone with metagame knowledge.
But here is the SM Ubers UU rating fellas.

Last minute shoutout at the request of a friend. Lyra is one of the best SS Ubers UU players in my opinion. They're able to play well using standard stuff, they're able to play well using stuff that's way out there, and everything in between. They are a great player who can honestly handle the SS slot essentially on his own. P.S. some side shoutouts to Kanha Greninja and TubeKnight, both are active and good players who know the current meta well. If you notice there's an obvious person missing from this shoutout, no there isn't, they requested to not.

This was one of the most insane pokémon related experiences i've been a part of, and i honestly wouldn't have it any other way, so many cool people, so many cool games, so many heart attacks (i understand how a fairy felt now), a truly insane road to finals (though we unfortunately did not win), this was more a tournament, it was a story, which we were very much the main characters of.
IncredibleKing all I really have to say is this guy stuck around for 8 MONTHS just to co manage with me as he promissed all the way back, thank you so much man you were a very reliable partner and friend
Mozonite my old partner in crime, you are the agent of chaos that was our unnoficial third manager, I hope you had tons of fun cooking up teams (especially in the latter half of the tour). Thank you so much for your presence moth man!
Medeia MEDEAAAAAAAAAA our queen and no doubt MVP of the tournament, you were part of my plans from the start as i knew you'd do great but you still somehow managed to surpass my expectations, missing the back to back wins is unfortunate as you 100% deserved it but i guess 7 wins in a row remains a great ending. Still, thank you so much for and I hope you enjoyed carrying our SV
