I hope everyone has a very happy holiday season!

hello LittleCupMeowth i got your request which was to build around this set :

Muk @ Leftovers
Ability: Sticky Hold
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Impish Nature
- Toxic
- Protect
- Knock Off
- Drain Punch

Here is the team I made
:Muk: :Grimmsnarl: :mudsdale: :rotom-mow: :sandslash-alola: :goodra:
https://pokepast.es/edeadbe53492b53d

:Muk: is a solid poison spreader + item remover while also being able to absorb toxic and take knock off.

My first idea was to give him a partner that would benefit from mons like :Rhydon:, :Mudsdale: or :Milotic: being toxic'd, so I chose BU :Grimmsnarl:. It also pairs kinda well with :Muk: typing wise, where you can switch in on the psychic types that threatens it, and also this combination beats defensive :Goodra: (grimm for dm / dtail and muk for koff / toxic) which is a hard mon to switch into in general. Also drain punch :Muk: could lure :Sandslash-alola: to make it easier for :grimmsnarl: to sweep.

I then added another toxic spreader with leftos + protect to have that little toxic synergy with :Muk:, and I think physdef :Goodra: is a really good pokemon overall, being able to deal with some annoying stuffs like :rotom-heat:. :Muk: being there to take fairy hits is very good for both :goodra: and :grimmsnarl:.

:Mudsdale: is a solid option to check opposing :mudsdale: (especially after a koff or toxic from :Muk:) or :Rhydon:, while also being able to check fighting types with the help of physdef :goodra: + the :Muk: Fighting Resist.

:Rotom-Mow: is here to add some volturn, alongside :Grimmsnarl:, and making the opponent lose turns to abuse the toxic (or entry hazards) damages. it's also good to have a ground immunity here, and it pressures opposing water and ground types very well. Also, :Muk: being able to remove the opposing ground types with toxic makes volt switch more spammable.

Finally, :sandslash-alola: is just a very fitting mon overall, with a lot of role compression, spikes helps abusing :Muk:'s koff + the fact that you force switch outs. Also because you don't have pjab on :muk:, i chose to put iron head :sandslash-alola: for fairy types.

:Goodra: : Classic 220+ speed (I believe it's for + speed golurk?), i put 222 here to get a little speedcreep.
:Muk: : 48 speed to outspeed hariyama and dudunsparce
:mudsdale: : 12 EVs in speed to be faster than other mudsdales and spdef is to take a hit from helectrode from full
:sandslash-alola: : speed is to outspeed salazzle at +2 and atk : 16 Atk Sandslash-Alola Iron Head vs. 252 HP / 160+ Def Florges: 180-212 (50 - 58.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

the team is a bit slow, maybe you could add a fast dark like zoroark over grimm.
Sandslash's set is kinda strange too, feel free to add an ice type move if you prefer.
The team is very ladder oriented with roar + dtail + double tect, you could change goodra's set to a more offensive if you know what to expect.
i just saw that i forgot to change the tera steel on mudsdale... you can go for water or ghost or something

I wanted to get more replays but i think i'll take a break from Pokemon so I rushed it a bit sorry, here are a few where i tried to play muk as much as possible :

Against a sample where muk as a really good MU : https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9pu-2500184841-4kwels84yh24yvwc0anrbfdjw649jojpw?p2

Against an HO where Muk got 3 kills (technically lol) and an assist : https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9pu-2500181409-n75jvxmosb5j8e4mq3ixq9ejlcxy04opw

Last one, I kinda liked this one even if the opponent's team is very ladderish because it shows how annoying double toxic + Muk can be, and the speed for hariyama came in handy : https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9pu-2500188579-g6vy2sutektle9se2nbkl9wt9sddnj2pw?p2

Happy Holidays, and if you have any questions feel free to dm me on Discord (andreas5597) !

Merry christmas Bloshh and have jolly good time!

Your request was for a team full of jolly natured pokemon so I went ahead and had a little fun with it!

https://pokepast.es/c7edc1ded8f43584

Some of the choices are a bit suboptimal but this is a certified corv team that went 10-2 on ladder. Doesn't mean all too much since ladder is a goof-fest, but is testament to the team working!

Now a bit of explanation;

Graf: Faster than the entire meta and spreads poison and chip damage, setting pawm up for lategame. Does surprisingly good damage against florg, brux, alotales while being relatively safe.

Uxie: consistent rocker that tanks most SpA threats while cripplkng them with twave.

Pawmot: Big unga bunga damage! Also tanks a vswitch in a pinch.

Braviary: surprisingly decent defogger, while suboptimal it gives you a 2nd ground immunity which the team needs with your 2 main mon being ground weak. Also handles pesky grass types that you see occasionally.

Amoonguss: toxic spreader with extra helmet chip. Hazes in a pinch and is just annoying in general.

Malamar: outspeeds things, dissuades intimidate, and sweeps unprepped teams. Do not rely on him to solo teams, but moreso make it press your opponent into making misplays that the rest of the team cleans up.

All in all I think the gameplan is very straightforward! I hope you enjoy playing a couple games with this team!

tysm!! I really like the team. Scarf Graf is a mon I wanted to test and im a big believer of defog braviary so I will surely be having fun with this one in ladder

Hello Corvy , Merry Christmas ! You requested a team with Uxie or Mesprit paired with any form of Rotom. Here’s the team :

https://pokepast.es/0ed84045ae2685c9
1765965777588.png

Not that obvious at first glance, but this is an Hyper Offense team. I was boring and built with Uxie and Rotom-Heat, the most "viable" mons, but don't worry there is originality with the sets they use.

First we have the Focus Sash Bombirdier, the lead. It is there to set rocks, slow down dangerous stuff with Rock Tomb, Knock Off some items, Memento to give setup opportunities.

Offensive Rotom-Heat with Tera Fairy is a cool set. You can beat Goodra and knocked Rhydon which are its biggest checks. Rotom-Heat acts as a para absorber which is cool for this kind of team. Leftovers instead of Boots because you'll not switch out much.

Next we have Uxie. Tera steel with Psychic Noise is a cool alternative set instead of Tera Fairy Psyshock. On teams with a lot of physical attackers it is nice to have another mon that can hit on the special side, and Psyshock doesn't do that. Tera Steel is a cool alternative tera that help you not dying to Rhydon after you used Hecid early in the game, resisting Extremespeed, Toxic etc. Uxie is a really cool mon for HO, bringing some bulk.

SD Bruxish and SD Hecid are there to punish those fat teams using frail speed control like Choice Scarf Florges, Choice Scarf Bombirdier, Pawmot etc, as they are easy to put in range of dying to priority moves. They also bring some useful resistances.

Last we have SD Qwilfish-Hisui. Its Aqua Jet is weak af, so you'll rarely sweep with it. However it is nice at weakening physical walls, creating set up opportunities with Intimidate. It is your Ghost, Dark and Psychic check and does this job well.

Here are some replays with the team :

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9pu-2501313771
vs Trick Room. The team has enough priorities and bulk to not auto die. Tera Steel Uxie saves the day against Rhydon.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9pu-2501319752?p2
vs screens. The team is a bit sus, but here you can see how good Bruxish is. Setting up after Memento and breaking screens with Psychic Fang is huge.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9pu-2501322251-kmhymkwpjknrpkayl6tw1jokraj064wpw
vs a more conventional balance team (Thanks Lambovino for helping me test). SD Hecid and Bruxish are very good against this kind of team. Tera Water Bruxish beats Scarf Bombirdier.

That's it have fun, Happy Holidays

hihi Nat

:ditto::palossand::sandslash-alola::arcanine::lanturn::amoonguss:
(click sprites for Pokepaste)
So, you requested a bulky team built around Ditto, with it being the main means of stopping setup mons. Sorry if it's a little boring, tried to use some lower-ranked mons to spice things up, but didn't wanna get too crazy and make the team worse for no reason. The team is also in no specific order since I switched stuff around a lot. But lets dive into it!

:ditto: The mon you asked for, and means to stop opposing setup mons.
:palossand: Ditto wanted a blob friend. Reliable recovery helps with longevity and provides some useful immunities every team should have.
:sandslash-alola: Sets up Spikes, removes hazards, and knocks off items. Just a fun little utility friend. Went with the unusual Tera Flying to help with the team's Ground weakness and also benefits from the Spikes immunity since its running Lefties>HDB.
:arcanine: With the team being on the bulkier end and slow af, I needed some form of speed control outside of Ditto. Arcanine also offers a wincon.
:lanturn: Was originally Milotic, but that seemed too boring. Don't get me wrong tho, Lanturn does legit things, like walls Bruxish after Tera and is much harder to stop from pivoting.
:amoonguss: Every team needs a Poison mon these days, preferably one with Toxic. Went with Amoongus to not add onto the stacking Ground weakness.

Notes:
  • I ran Tera Dark on a lotta stuff cuz I couldn't manage to fit a Dark-type on the team, but they can be changed to other types if you prefer something else.
  • Terrain is a horrible matchup for this team since Ditto isn't boosted by Unburden.
  • I tested the team on ladder a decent amount and it did pretty well, sorry I forgot to save replays. ;-;

Other options:
:mudsdale:>:palossand: Still soft checks a bunch of stuff, and gets Roar for another way to stop setup mons.
:milotic:>:lanturn: Checks similar things, and gets Haze/Dragon Tail for another way to stop setup mons.
:venusaur:>:amoonguss: Gets Leech Seed so that can be fun.

Hope you like the team! Happy holidays!

hi ishtar you asked for a team around lilligant! something i thought of doing too wao we're so similar haha......

i made two teams (technically 3 but not really). one that was ho, and another that was sun!
(click on the sprites for importables!)
:lilligant: :avalugg-hisui: :decidueye-hisui: :salazzle: :zoroark: :arcanine:
:lilligant: :avalugg-hisui: :decidueye-hisui: :salazzle: :zoroark: :arcanine:
:dugtrio: :lilligant: :grafaiai: :milotic: :arcanine: :espeon:

for the ho team, there's two versions because it was hard to decide which lilligant set to use, and it has a lot of variety, so i wanted to include both versions. regardless though, when building around lilligant, i had a hard time figuring out how to hit all of its "checks" in: post-tera rhydon, arcanine, salazzle, skuntank, hecidueye, and amoonguss. between tera and certain coverage, it can kind of pick and choose what it wants to hit, but it cant hit all of them! so i built the team around its teammates beating whatever it chooses to not beat. salazzle and zoroark can force in shared lilligant checks to wear them down, as well as just break things in general. zoroark also being able to disguise as lazzle helps a lot since you can bait in stuff like rhydon so lilligant doesn't have to deal with potential tera poison rhydon. sash on lazzle isn't too uncommon, but i felt sash zoroark helped with opposing ho mu's, terrain, and is just a general surprise item that catches people off guard. tera ghost lazzle also helps for claiming cheeky kills vs prio users in pawmot and arcanine. hecidueye is hoping to lure in amoonguss and brave bird it but otherwise its a little underwhelming in this team. arcanine kinda does arcanine things. it can used as a super end-game cleaner once lilligant has done her business, or it can be used in reverse of that: break for lilligant.

the sun team i made last second i didnt test it at all but figured lilligant has a lot of variety and using it over venusaur could be cool. dugtrio and grafaiai help with setting it up and keeping momentum in your favor (could opt for uturn > gunk on graf). milotic and espeon provide defenses against opposing fires and ground types respectively, while espeon helps keep hazards off of you as arcanine appreciates safe entry. band arcanine seemed fun to use and im sure it hits like a truck under sun. didn't test this one as much but im sure it's fine right...haha.. (its ass)

snow stripper nicknames because when we first met you introduced me to april mixtape 3 and now im a snow stripper stan years later and have the snow strippers alt on ps!.

i wanted to post this on the 25th but ill be out of town with no computer so......................merry christmas, and thanks for the good times

Merry Christmas THE_CHUNGLER you asked for a fun snorlax set and what could possible be more fun then giving out gifts
giphy.gif

:snorlax: :amoonguss: :qwilfish-hisui: :jolteon: :bruxish: :cramorant:
(click on the sprites for the paste)
So the main goal of fling lax is to catch greedy ground types like palo and muds tryna switch in on lax and get rock up but it's also decent at stopping milo who sees a free pivot or set up arc and coil dudun who try to set up on your passivity
:snorlax: the main special wall outside of giving gifts he can para spam with body slam or nuke snowslash with heat crash
:amoonguss: snorlax's bestfriend they're really great at covering eachothers weaknesses eject for volt turners letting you get in brux safely or one of your set up sweepers standard with fp for double dance rhy
:qwilfish-hisui: hwil is the team's option for poisons and physical attackers amoongy can't beat with liquidation > aqua jet (yes I know this means the team has no prio) to goob the rhydon that will think he can come in freely and (also just to break other stuff this thing hits hard after a sd)
:jolteon: festive tera ice jolt to punish grounds tryna wall it and to not auto lose to goodra (if you tera fairy you will get sludged trust me) also helps at killing amoongus who is kinda annoying for the squad also switch to give you a volt turn
:bruxish: primary fast fish does everything you'd want from a fast pivot also helps with the kinda water spam with qwil
:cramorant: I speed crept this to 211 because for some reason every sample set it 210 anyways crammer is the team's removal and havalugg switch it's also supposed to be a redbull switch but you are just gonna get killed by band stone edge so uhhh ya

anyways I decided that I should share the festivities with the pu ladder and everyone was very jolly

festive wooooo.png

hope you enjoy the team and I hope you have a happy holiday

Merry Christmas zoowi, the request was for a triple fire core of :Tauros-Paldea-Blaze:, :Arcanine: and :Emboar:
This was a very challenging team to build with quite the trial and error but ultimately ended up pretty fun and I think the team turned out alright!

:Arcanine: :Tauros-Paldea-Blaze: :Emboar: :Milotic: :Rotom-Mow: :Palossand:
https://pokepast.es/e0a780cc690fcb30

:Arcanine: Decided to keep our Arcanine relatively simple. The team definitely needed some recovery and status inflicting to be more successful as a balance build, so I elected on a Will-O variant over not finding success with a Curse set. :Rhydon: is a relatively problematic mon for this team, especially once Tera'd and I wanted to lift some of the defensive burden off of the other defensive Pokemon on this team. Intimidate + ESpeed is still a very good combo in this meta and there's the back door Tera Normal cleanup option against offensive teams.

:Tauros-Paldea-Blaze: Went back and forth on what to do with Tauros and I settled on a simple Tera Grass Trailblaze BU set after scarf'ing the Emboar. I originally had a Banded set that attempted to break through mons like :Milotic: or :Florges:, but ultimately felt like the ability to change moves + Leftovers was worth less damage output, especially with a Choiced Emboar. This can probably be EV'ed more aggressively to outspeed :bruxish: and get back a bit of bulk, but I liked hitting the 100 speed tier especially once this thing got to +1.

:Emboar: I was pretty set on using a Scarf Emboar with the fire core. An alternative idea was to use Tera Dark/Psychic with AV and Sucker, but I decided on Reckless Scarf just to maintain speed control. I think Emboar works fine on this team and Scarf Emboar definitely picks up its fair share of kills against :Snorlax: :Goodra: teams, but even against :Milotic: or Tera :dudunsparce:, an early and unexpected Knock Off can ensure that the Fire/Fighting types on this team break through.

And now for the supporting cast:

:Milotic: Felt like this was the most obvious Milotic I have ever slapped onto a team lol, and I did give it a fair crack with some other options (see below), but Milotic was too good to pass up. Covers the main weaknesses of the Fire's really well, offers some reliability and recovery as well as switch initative. I think being proactive with this team is quite important and even at low HP's, Milotic can get in either Emboar or Tauros and put in some massive work. Originally I had Haze on this team but :tatsugiri: became a big problem and ultimately I found DTail reset momentum on things like :espeon:, :dudunsparce: or :hariyama: while providing a bit of damage with hazards up, which was more benefical to the team than just reseting their stats. Went Boots since we couldn't fit removal and Marvel Scale as this is one of the only mons on this team I was comfortable absorbing a Status with.

:rotom-mow: Maybe this one is LOOR rubbing off but I went with a more offensive Rotom-M with Tera Fairy Blast. A nice way to remove :Goodra: early in the game, and the type converage + Levitate synergizes well with the fires. Tera Fairy isn't neccessairly clicked too often, so Pain Split + Tera Steel would be a great alternative if you feel the value isn't there with Blast. From testing I felt most teams without :Amoonguss: or :Snorlax: are pretty unprepared for a +2 Storm, and even hitting either of those with it on a switch allows for a fairly safe Volt into one of Tauros or Emboar.

:Palossand: Last but not least, we have the Rocker and the annoying mon. Rocky Helmet is a personal preference for me on Pallo, I find it punishes a lot of Physical Attackers like :Pawmot: or :Tauros-Paldea-Blaze: and provides good chip on Bulkier Knock Off users to help set up Arcanine ESpeed cleanup or the Fire/Fightings. Nothing too crazy about this one, you could probably play around with :Mudsdale: or :Rhydon:, but I like the spinblock option for :sandslash-alola: :milotic: teams and offers a good pivot on :tatsugiri: spin into our Milotic DTail.

Some other vairants of the team (less tested) with funner mons I tried to incooperate like :Cacturne: or :Arboliva: and CB Tauros + Curse Arcanine
:Arcanine: :Tauros-Paldea-Blaze: :Emboar: :Cacturne: :Cramorant: :palossand:
https://pokepast.es/97c8e6cddf0e3419
:Arcanine: :Tauros-Paldea-Blaze: :Emboar: :Arboliva: :Cramorant: :Palossand:
https://pokepast.es/be216532964a81ff

Threats to this team include:
:Grimmsnarl: Sub BU can be slightly problematic if you get the Will-O turns wrong, but normally Arcanine can power through without taking too much. Thankfully a lot of them run Tera Steel which helps this team's MU.
:Tatsugiri: One of the main reasons I went DTail on Milo, have to be proactive in not letting it get a free Spin + NP.
:Rhydon: Tera RP sets can be problematic if you CC into a Tera turn, but the combination of Milo/Palo + WillO Arcanine with a Levitate user offers decent counterplay.
:Amoonguss: Go figure the mushroom is strong into a team with 3 fires, but if it is Tera Water it sponges CCs from Tauros and Emboar so the only real counterplay is keeping Rotom healthy. Found a lot of teams that Tera'd Amoonguss ended up losing to either Rotom or BU Tauros. but can still be problematic.
:Milotic: Not impossible to handle, an early Knock + keeping Rocks up paired with Will-O, Scald and Scorching Sands should eventually land you a burn and get this thing widdled down. Ice Beam sets are problematic for Rotom switchins, but slow play around it with your own Milo is normally fine.
:Espeon: Hard to get up rocks on these teams, but doesn't set up as easy as you'd think against this team and Emboar revenges pretty nicely. Tough to switchin to however (LO sets) and partially why Arcanine has a bit of extra SpDef.

This team obviously has it's constraints but with the Bulkier Normal types + Darks being popular right now, there could be some merit and a good team to be made out of a Fire/Fighting stack. Happy Holidays and hope you enjoy the team!

:hoopa: :porygon2: :hariyama: :mesprit: :coalossal: :whimsicott: <- click for the Paste

The original request was Offensive Trick Room Hoopa with Room Service. Hoopa hits extremely hard but needs reliable support to get Trick Room up consistently and convert those turns into real progress, so the first step for me was surrounding it with the tools it needs to punish defensive cores and keep momentum flowing.

Porygon2 was the natural partner given its success in OU on recent TR builds. It’s the most reliable Trick Room setter in the tier, offers fantastic mixed bulk with Eviolite, and with Download + BoltBeam it doubles as a powerful breaker when Room is up. With two setters, the next step was finding a physical abuser to complement Hoopa’s special pressure. Hariyama fills this perfectly: Guts-boosted Close Combat deletes anything that isn’t a Ghost, Fake Out smooths out Trick Room transitions, and Bullet Punch gives us a rare form of priority for when Room ends.

Mesprit originally served as the team’s secondary setter, and it still plays a major role as a bulky Room option with Psychic Noise, Ice Beam, and Healing Wish to reset Hoopa or Hariyama for a second sweep attempt. To tie the team’s hazard game together, Coalossal came in as the defensive glue. Its combination of Stealth Rock, Rapid Spin, Flame Body, and a naturally perfect Trick Room Speed tier gives it excellent utility while keeping the team stable into pivot-heavy structures.

The final touch was adding an aggressive Trick Room setter that could both pressure common walls and guarantee momentum for Hoopa or Hariyama. Life Orb Whimsicott ended up being a surprisingly strong fit. Prankster Trick Room gives the team a priority way to set Room against offense, while max Special Attack lets it pressure Milotic and Goodra. Trick Room in general struggles to fit faster pokemon that can flip momentum when Trick Room is not present, and Whimsicott's speed tier made it ideal for this slot. With both Mesprit and Whimsicott in play, the team rarely struggles to get Room up when needed and can pivot between balanced and aggressive modes depending on the matchup.

The nicknames are all character references from Frosty the Snowman. Enjoy the sleigh ride and have a Merry Christmas.
