mipc vs entrocefalo
mipc has been relatively unknown on Smogon as a whole until very recently, while on the other hand, entrocefalo has a trophy, AG circuit banner, and 2017 join date. In terms of experience, the two could not be more different. In this tour, mipc brought one series to G5, one to G4, and both 1v1s to G4; entrocefalo brought both series to g4 and won the only 1v1 in 3. Since I needed to find content to fill the paragraphs with, I decided to just rewatch all their games just to make sure I have the most accurate thoughts on each of the tiers. In ZU, they're both 2-0. I think that mipc faced better opponents, maneuvering a resttalk curse glastrier against Kingler and taking advantage of xu9's lack of longevity in fairy resists. On the other hand, entrocefalo faced a morgrem and a golem in separate battles, two mons that will not be on the VR anytime soon. Both of entroce's ZU games were very one-sided. I don't think ZU is necessarily going to one or the other. mipc's scout looks easy to build into despite using underrated threats like Glastrier and Whimsicott (they're becoming aptly rated soon I promise), and I think that maybca can cook/find something good into it for entrocefalo. Not sure where mipc is getting ZU teams. ZU is probably coming down to the matchup on the day of the game, and I give the prep edge to entrocefalo, but if I wasn't factoring in that I would probably give the edge here to mipc. In NFE, mipc is 0-2 despite doing whatever that was to xu9's dusclops. I will have to factor in the other loss being to Kingler using Quilladin, which is probably not a beginner friendly combo to face. entrocefalo is 1-1, with a win against fishy (in a game where I would've held on longer with fishy's quaxwell tink and a dream because surely there's a way to chip down ivy), and a loss getting reverse swept by shivam_z's sd monf. Both of mipc's opponents brough hazard stack, and despite bringing double removal against Kingler, mipc still lost. NFE is a tier heavily suffocated by hazards, and so far mipc has lost to (very strong) hazard stack teams twice. I think I trust entrocefalo more in NFE. In AG, I have one replay off of each, and since mipc lost in AG, I think I should favor the AG Circuit Champion here. In UUbers, entrocefalo dropped one to fishy's tera flyingblast elececus and won the other, while mipc made balance/semistall look good (im behind in this tier but alo looks cracked) and reverse swept kingler with eleceus. Neither looks too dominant here, I'll circle back. I don't know what to look for in 1v1 but entroce won in 3 and looked more dominant to my untrained eye.
if i give mipc zu uubers and 1v1 with entrocefalo taking nfe ag, mipc wins. However, I feel like the odds of entrocefalo taking one of the tiers I gave to mipc is higher than the chance of mipc winning all 3 of those.
fragments vs Diana Burnwood (NEITHER of yall played ZU so far????? how dare)
the last one took an hour im not doing this again. smth smth kingras manager fragments, nfe person horii. in Fragments' 1v1 v baddy, Fragments looked incredible. On the other hand, Horii beat Indi01. They both looked good in 1v1, but I think Fragments looked better. I can't tell if horii won based on insane calculations or the opponent miscalculating, but then again i wasnt paying enough attention to realize. I wouldn't be surprised if Horii takes 1v1 though. Fragments had good showings in NFE, winning 6-6 v baddy and hazstacking Celeste, who brought no removal. Horii is also good at NFE as you would assume based on UMPL. This will be a close game and is not automatic, but im favoring Horii because favoring fragments would require more brainpower and logic for me to defend as an opinion. I forgot what I saw in UUbers but Horii's teams excited me and Fragments played well. i zoned out in ag, go fragments ig.
uhh i gave nfe uubers to horii and 1v1 ag to fragments, i predict that ZU gets played. please.
