Hey EvilSlowBro welcome to Smogon's VGC community. Posting new threads here requires moderator permission, so please be mindful of that if you stick around.
That being said I know finding folks to practice with can be hard when you're new to the game. Feel free to join our community discord where you can ask for games and discuss teambuilding or ongoing tournaments. Also, if you're not doing this already, join the VGC room on Pokemon Showdown and be on the lookout for tournaments to practice as well. Finally, I would suggest checking out the event locator and seeing if you have any close by tournaments where you can meet up with folks irl and find some people to practice with. All that said I hope something here is beneficial for you! This thread will now be locked (and archived later).
