Kyogre lets out a booming roar, and the ocean waves begrudgingly surge in response. Kyogre slumbers on the ocean floor at abyssal depths, surrounded by crushing pressure and absolute darkness. When it awakens, the oceans stir in anticipation and the skies darken with storm clouds, immediately seeking out its rival, Groudon. Should Kyogre ever manage to meet with Groudon, the very Earth may be torn asunder in the resulting clash, as was the case when the Earth's continents were first formed in the ancient past.

How They Met:
One fateful day, Kyogre and Groudon awakened simultaneously, a catastrophic event that almost never occurs. Like many other trainers, Duo participated in efforts to quell the ancient monsters, sending Pokémon to fight the ancient beasts. With the combined effort of many trainers and Pokémon, Kyogre and Groudon were both forced back into hibernation to recover, and a great crisis was averted.

Name Origin:
From Leviathan, a massive, primeval sea serpent described in the Book of Job whose might is so great that only God can overcome it. Its counterparts are Behemoth and Ziz, enormous monsters that dwell on land and in the sky respectively.

Charles possesses healing powers, and he is able to bless harvests to be bountiful and fruitful. In times long past, he ruled over Galar and was revered as a merciful but stern leader.

How They Met:
In a traditional Legend Gauntlet battle, Duo was chosen to fight for Calyrex, the Harvest King, while Mamoswindle was chosen to fight for Zeraora, the electric feline. After a fierce battle in which Calyrex mounted his steed Spectrier, Duo won by a slim margin, and so he was allowed the privilege of fighting alongside Calyrex.
