National Dex UU Set Compendium
Approved by National Dex UU Forum Mods | Hosted by Iride and Danbear02

Welcome to the National Dex UU Set Compendium. This resource aims to provide newer players with an in-depth collection of the most optimal sets for Pokemon that are considered to be viable in the current metagame, according to our Viability Rankings. We hope this helps to ease the team building process, as the contents listed here will also be regularly updated depending on how recent shifts affect the metagame, such as the discovery of new options on certain Pokemon or if they become outclassed by another drop within the given time period.

IMPORTANT: We are open to submissions from others. We will be actively checking this thread for responses and if you would like to see a set added and/or removed, then feel free to make a post here.

With a totally not outdated Set Compendium before DLC 2 and with a new year means a fresh look on things, leading to a new update for Set Compendium! Not that big of an update since we didn't really need that many changes (i wonder why) so let's get right to it.

- :serperior: :iron treads: :meowscarada: :grimmsnarl: Removed mons affected by Tier Changes (Bans or Raises)
- :excadrill: :ceruledge: Slight changes in Item selection

Hello everyone! Me and Danbear02 have worked on a new Set Compendium update to not just do the usual new additions but also revamp some old spreads to match the current metagame! Shoutouts to him for the help and here are some of the notable changes:

- :scizor: :skeledirge: New revamped EV spreads for older pokemon.
- :altaria-mega: :azumarill: :amoonguss: :victini: New sets added.
- :unown-question: Removed Herobrine

If you find any errors or want to suggest something then be sure to let us know!

Following the most recent VR update, Lupla and I did a small update of the Set Compendium to include some newly ranked Mons and to remove some options that are now outdated, as well as do some small updates to certain spreads following the Iron Hands ban. Here are the notable changes;

- :Haxorus: :Lilligant-Hisui: :Mandibuzz: :Nihilego: Removed Mons unranked after the most recent VR
- :Decidueye-Hisui: :Mienshao: :Slowbro-Mega: Added sets for these Mons that are now ranked in the VR
- :Buzzwole: :Skeledirge: Updated EV Spreads for a few Mons

Let us know if there are any errors, or if you would like to suggest a new set or changes to existing ones!

With the meta having adapted quite a bit in the past few months, we thought it prudent to do a Set Compendium update alongside the Analysis update. The changes are listed below, with a few sets removed due to lack of use/unviability, and many new sets added.

Unranked::Conkeldurr::Ditto::Kleavor::Latias::Mandibuzz::Quagsire::Sableye-Mega:
Sets (removed due to being Unviable/Rare/Not recommended): Offensive Utility:Hydreigon:, :Choice Scarf: and Happy Hour:Jirachi:, :Choice Band: and Z-Celebrate:Victini:, :Choice Specs: and Nasty Plot:Zoroark-Hisui:
Pokemon::Dhelmise::Krookodile::Primarina::Serperior::Talonflame:
Sets: Stallbreaker:Enamorus:, Physically Defensive:Gastrodon:, :Choice Specs::Iron Moth:, Offensive:Latias-Mega:, :Waterium Z::Rotom-Wash:, Offensive Stealth Rock:Swampert-Mega:, :Heavy-Duty Boots::Zoroark-Hisui:
Sets::Aegislash::Aerodactyl-Mega::Amoonguss::Bisharp::Excadrill::Hydrapple::Magnezone::Swampert::Rotom-Wash::Hawlucha:
Most of these were small spread/nature changes. Shoutout to Iride and Daepiquejt in particular for providing new spreads.

As always, feel free to ask in the NatDex UU Discord or through DMs about changes, or if you would like to access removed sets.

It's been a bit too long since the last Set Compendium Update. We've gotten some new additions to the tier, lost some friends (or enemies), and have seen quite a bit of metagame development. Here's an overview of the changes made!

Unranked::Arcanine-Hisui::Dracozolt::Gengar::Talonflame:
Banned::Greninja:
Unviable: Utility:Mew:
Pokemon::Archaludon::Ursaluna:
Sets: Utility Sand Rush:Excadrill:, Bulky Swords Dance:Gallade-Mega:, Booster Energy: Speed:Iron Boulder:, Utility:Tyranitar:
:Aegislash::Azumarill::Blissey::Chansey::Gardevoir-Mega::Hydrapple::HYdreigon::Iron Boulder::Lokix::Mienshao::Okidogi::Pecharunt::Ribombee::Sinistcha::Tangrowth::Tapu Bulu::Tapu Fini::Thundurus::Ting-Lu::Venusaur-Mega:
These changes all either added/removed moves, changed move order, added new natures, or added/removed items
Serperior and Mega Swampert were also not in alphabetical order, so they were moved to where they were supposed to be. Feel free to DM me or Iride if you see any more of these types of errors, or set errors like incorrect natures, EV spreads, or moves.

If you would like to access sets from Mons that have been removed, either in the past or with this update, or would like to see the specifics (in excruciating detail) of how a certain set was updated, feel free to DM me and I can either send you my Google Sheet with all the Set Compendium changes or provide old sets/changes.

Set Compendium has been updated following HUGE Metagame shifts! Here are the changes.

:Araquanid::Arctozolt::Garganacl::Glimmora::Goodra-Hisui::Iron Crown::Sableye-Mega::Salamence:
:Archaludon::Dhelmise::Gallade-Mega::Iron Leaves::Primarina::Tapu Fini::Ting-Lu:

There were quite a few moveset tweaks courtesy of the goat themselves, Iride. Feel free to reach out to either one of us if you are curious about any specific changes made.

After quite a bit of time, the Set Compendium has been updated to reflect the new metagame. All notable changes are reflected in the VR shifts; any mons that were unranked were removed, with any mons added to the VR proper have been added here.

A huge, huge, HUGE shoutout to Dabman1069 and Interlinked for doing the work of this VR, going through and adding/updating sets as needed to reflect the many metagame shifts since the last update. Please thank them in the NDUU Cord for their hard work!!
