thanks lily, i kinda cant tell (with love).
Merry christmas
hybone, i got here the
terablast flying mudbray team you wanted!

It is the most normal looking thing in the world, but thats kinda the point.

The general idea of the team is that using terablast flying mudbray as a lure for toedscool or foongus will give a way for one or some of the following possible win conditions: elekid or spikes if toed dies, and mienfoo or tspikes if foongus dies. Using mudbray early to generate momentum and lure stuff in will ease the path for your other, more conventional wincons, while its a set so unexpected in a very normal team, giving it more chances to succeed.

This is the core i started building with. With this mudbray set, i knew i couldnt rely on it to do proper defensive value, as terastilizing to a flying type makes it weak to electric types and to rocks. Thus, a second vullaby answer was needed, entering glimmet. Glimmet has the additional advantage of setting both spikes and tspikes up, which has really good synergy with the lure mudbray set you gave me, as whenever toedscool dies, spikes will go uncontested vs ttm teams, and whenever foongus dies, most teams wont be able to remove the toxic spikes.

These two were the second core of mons to be added. They fit the team by giving you a fighting and a ground/psychic resist respectively, adding a ton for the defensive synergy of the team, helping against pokemon such as mienfoo, gothita, chinchou and diglett alola. They may look nothing special, but that nothingness is the key to succeed here: the team has to look normal in order for the lure to work, and also they are used in pair for a reason, as they work incredibly together with mudbray and mienfoo.

For the last mon, it was obvious i needed something fast and capable of cleaning once damage has been dealt. Elekid felt like the perfect pokemon for this role: it is the fastest pokemon in the metagame, it benefits incredibly from both spikes to get stuff in range of its moves and toedscool dying, as it is one of its biggest roadblocks. I chose the terablast grass set because i needed a much better matchup into chinchou, admitting i dont need knock off that badly if i lay down spikes. This set also helps against opposing mudbrays, which could be hard to take down otherwise. I figure having two terablasts isnt a huge deal, since their targets tend to not team up, instead fitting different roles in very different teams.
