What a run! I'm glad we made it so far, we worked hard for this result. I'm personally satisfied with my results in this tour, although I would have wished to avoid haxxing my last opponent but well, that's the game we're playing after all..
I already talked about this, but this PUWC was one of my favorite team tour experiences ever. I want to shoutout all the people who helped!
Big shoutouts to Antares for his scouts, extremely well done with good visuals listing noteworthy stuff. We also had usage stats and winrate stats before everyone thanks to you. You genuinely were a huge part of why we won.
Shoutouts to everyone who tested with me, helped me with calls, with ideas to fix my teams, etc. : this most notably includes VyoletRayn, yandaud, Lambovino, Micciu, Bloshh, Esteb4n ; also Antares, Eledyr and Nemosse a few times. I really needed some support when I had so much stuff going on at the same time and my building skills are limited, so you all deserve some recognition for being part of my results. Statler also deserves a mention for helping our other players.
Shoutouts to VyoletRayn and Lambovino especially, for their great managing and support, helping everyone and most notably our clickers. Thanks for letting me play in tiebreaks too! Lambovino is a goated shadow builder and Vy' made great calls by changing the slot order when deemed necessary. We were motivated in large part because we kept having roomtours. We also had great team cohesion because we had fun thanks to the activities and emotes we had on our server (once again, thanks Antares).
Shoutouts to our mascot PorygonBG, I hope you'll have your time to shine in some future tournament!

Alright, I can't really believe we actually did it in such a manner, though I never doubted my players, it feels a bit weird as a manager to win something so big.
Props to China of course, they really deserved that spot in finals and went on a great run this year.
Now I'm glazing my players cause they all are goated, I'm not gonna lie, the hardest part of the whole tournament for me was to choose 3 players for the Tie breakers against RoW
I did appear a bit too calm at times, but there was a clear reason for it : I truly believed and I was sure we were gonna win this.
Every players gave their all, everyone was committed cause we wanted that so bad.
It feels great as my first captaincy for France to win something, hopefully it's the first of many, whether it is for me or for all the members of this wonderful team.
Now we get into the shoutouts cause that's what we're here for in the first place.
Platum : I don't know how to really put it in words cause the amount of skill you gained this year is astounding, I don't think I've ever seen anything like this, in such a great display of performance, I had to push you for that last bit to get this trophy and you delivered in ways I couldn't even expect in the first place, you have been so strong and I hope you'll keep pushing for more cause it's always a pleasure to have such a strong player on our side
Cielau : Man looked at the whole tour and at me wondering if I was crazy or if I was hiding my stress, turns out there was no stress at all, and he kept carrying on, truly a great player, a great builder and a funny guy, keep up on whatever untier you're playing (Mono?)
Esteb4n : Undefeated, I don't know how do you pull this off but you did it, and it was crazy, everything went so smooth, you had so many ideas we wanted to try but we could only do so much, stay the way you are man I don't know what else to say
Lambovino : the man, the myth, the legend, the reason why some of us started playing PU in the first place (me included), always doubting himself when he's clearly among the best we have ever witnessed, I'm glad we finally got this trophy you wanted so much, it's never a dull moment when you're around and I hope we can still play on other tours for long, getting the crucial wins when it matters the most. And the funniest part is advocating so much for a Grassy ban in SS only for you to win a game in a puwc final with grassy in SV, the joke writes itself. Love you
yandaud : part of some sort of old guard or I don't know, I let my place for you even though I wanted to be a more active part of the whole thing, you got in, and you delivered wonderfully, everything is so silky smooth and you have one of the best mind in the team, thank you again
Micciu : Didn't want to join, still joined, didn't really want to play after pools didn't go your way, still played, went up against really strong opponents, ended up showing them levels, too strong, too fabulous, too much for others to handle, again always a pleasure to have you around. Flare Blitz
dunoks : the night owl, brother prepped at 2am, played at 2pm, won, slept whenever it's convenient. not really talkative but still, reliable and that's pretty much all I'm asking for
Hiko : Builders went there to test your limits and turns out, it seems you have none, I don't know how you do this but you're simply goated, keep up the work fam
Nemosse : Wanted to be included when we battered some opps, never happened, still a funny guy and a supportive man in tests
Carkoala : that guy is too funny, get him in your teams if you wanna have the good shitposts, it's the true carry here
BlazingDark : Weird calls, understood mine, made the others question their team choices and we actually brought some better stuff just because you were throwing "Play sun or else" here and there, but if it works it works.
Antares Eledyr : thanks to my co, both of you, you have been so helpful, whenever I had some days off and such, Antares carrying with the stats, the scouts, everything linked to this, the team choices etc, I can't state how much you've done and how much it has been so smooth thanks to you
DDJoe (can't ping him for some reason) Bloshh : Thanks for the help after pools, you are now part french in this and there's no escape, you've helped us so much with the tests and completing some of our builds (or even building for one of us), thank you again
PorygonBG : the mascot, unironically our good luck charm, glad we could bring you in with us and glad you were there to witness our win, next year it's gonna be the same but with you as a player.
Props to every opponents we faced, it was fun, I loved it.
Thank to the other french players that supported us throughout the whole tour, glad we delivered
And yes : shuffling the slots each week was my idea so we could get some more "favorable" matchups, it worked way better than I thought.

After 6 long years, France finally takes the PUWC 
We’ve had really good players in France roster in the past but this generation of french players finally achieved it and even if I dont really play anymore I hope i was at least a bit helpful.
It wouldnt have been possible without Lambovino. He has been a staple in french pu community for so long, he was a central figure of every french puwc teams, a good player but also a welcoming and helpful person for newcomers in french pu and this for a very long time, nowaday as years ago when I also was a newcommer back to gen7. Honestly if it wasnt for him i probably wouldnt have been back after puwc IV.

bro says this while being THE reason we were able to survive 8 weeks of prep in full SV PU
for those who don't know, Antares is one of the main persons I dm instantly when PUWC time comes around, because of how high his value is to the team, both in the prep and in the abiance.
We had a weekly updated canva with all the teams that have been played by every player of the tour, every set, every replay, we had usage stats, even custom PU related emotes and funny memes to cheer up the team every time !!!
Bro has been there for us every year and I can't thank you enough for all the work you've done, it's always such a pleasure to team up with you and I hope this tournament made other people discover your worth and start picking you in more prestigious tours (if you still wanna do it lol)
That being said, i also wanna give a quick shoutout to Platum Hiko
thank you to VyoletRayn and Eledyr for your role of captain, I really appreciated your work, and Vy' I hope you'll get to shine in the next wcup like the others because you truly deserve it

and I saved the best for last, yandaud , we've traveled a lot together in PU, from the PUPL Claydols win to this PUWC... You are one of the best person i've ever met on this site, and I truly mean it when i say that a PUWC without you wouldn't happen for me because it doesn't feel right, I hope we'll get to play together again and again because it's always such a good experience and I wish you the best for everything !!
