I have to say I'm copying Floss in retiring as leader just before the two year mark before he says it for me.
Anyways! It's been a fun ride, but given a lot of stuff happening for me irl, I don't have the time I've had prior to this summer to commit to coming home from work and playing almost everyday, and it wouldn't be fair to you all to sit here without actually keeping up with things myself. Everybody say thank you to my (relatively) new 3-hour round-trip commute to/from work! Pair that without having had a functional PC for the majority of October, November, and December, and it's time for me to let someone else take the mantle.
I've enjoyed leading Mono, and I've enjoyed many of the innovations we've seen over the past few years, including the introduction of MFPL and MOMPL, the pending introduction of MCL (I'll respond to the open mic thread this week I promise), and the development of our own Mono-specific OMs under the leadership of boomp and kiru and everyone else involved in the various councils, and so I'll only be dropping down to forum mod and off council, at least for now, because I still want to help keep up with the (insane) tournament schedule our section has, as well as potentially get back into (maybe) hosting more (assuming I have the time lol).
I don't have any truly sappy things to say or much to rant about (can't top Floss's post anyway) since I'm not tryna burn the bridge I'm still standing on, but with all that said...
