there's gotta be some form of pre-tour seeding based on quality of "In" post. top seed could get a say in opening week format or sumn
While signups are still open until Sunday, we wanted to go ahead and announce the week 1 format! This way people have a little extra time to build since you will need to build 1-3 teams depending on if you plan on using the teams more than once. But without further ado...
In week 1 of Goofy Ahh Tour we are playing NU Almost Any Ability!
Almost Any Ability is an OM where any pokemon can have (almost) any ability! We will be using the AAA format (detailed HERE) and removing all pokemon that are normally not legal in SV NU! That means both AAA bans and NU pokemon bans apply! (Than means sv nu bans of non-pokemon like the ability drought and the item quick claw do not apply, and are therefore legal.) So neither Talonflame (which is normally in AAA but not NU legal) nor Slaking (which is normally NU legal but not AAA legal) are allowed. As a hint, notice that there are a few pokemon with traditional AAA sets that are legal here, most notably scream tail!
The challenge code is
(of course replace the "username" with the person you would like to challenge!)
Tera is also NOT legal
Normally NU Mons that are banned from AAA (Other than these the SV NU builder is fully legal!)
Remember that signups close this Sunday Jan 11th! (There will not be an opportunity for subs after signups close) Also remember to only sign up if you plan on playing the full 6 weeks! Having someone drop messes up how we do matches since swiss style tours don't eliminate players for losing in the first 6 weeks. Have fun building, be creative, don't stress too much (this is supposed to be silly and fun!), and we can't wait to see all of your Goofy Ahh Teams!
