Project UU Secret Santa - 2025

Chance Acid Rapper Merry Christmas! Heres the Special Salamence you wanted.
https://pokepast.es/5155117313f30814

Main idea is that you try to get up hazards and get a few knocks in so that mence is as threatening as possible. The main things that annoy Mence are slowking and fezandipiti so using Gastrodon and Metagross to scare them out of clicking anything other than their pivot moves is nice. The metagross set is a little weird and im sure you could feasibly use knock over eq but I digress. Weav is speed control, fez is the pivot, and sinis is the spinblocker that doubles as a decent check to pretty much every physical attacker.

starbitstorm i wish u a merry christmas and a happy new year! :totodiLUL:

here is the yanmega team u requested :woop:
https://pokepast.es/430819899b592b52

the main idea is to get aurora veil up to support yanmega defensively and use bug buzz to get the throat spray boost to sweep.
you can also use slowking with chilly reception to get yanmega in safely. speed boost yanmega struggles with skarmory so i added skeledirge to counter skarmory . yanmega is quad weak to rocks so excadrill with rapid spin supports him lastly weavile is the knockoff user who also appreciates the veil and can easily sweep with even 1 swords dance. :mehowth:

ThatOneApple Merry Christmas and happy new years!

Heres your Necrozma team, it doesnt learn psynoise though lol so i did a utility set
https://pokepast.es/d0e2df0088fe7e95

Its a pretty traditional stall team but with necrozma covering as high pressure knock support, crozmas utitility is neat cus it can take advantage of skarm by forcing it out and knocking a different mon and also has the ability to check excadrill. I asked StepC for teambuilding help and bro absolutely cooked with heal bell on blissey, heal bell supports necrozma allowing it to check other mons like taunt fezandipiti. i was originally running def press skarm with spikes on clod but i didnt see too much reward from runing idef. Sinistcha is good defensive utility and it can tera into a fire resist which helps defensive syn with skarmory.

Estarossa Merry Christmas!

Here is the team with Alolan Sandslash.
:Slowking: :Sandslash-Alola: :Lokix: :Serperior: :Thundurus-Therian: :Cobalion:

This pokemon was really hard to work with but I think I found a way of using it where it isn't outclassed by Weavile or Excadrill. The biggest problem was that even with Slush Rush, you need considerable speed investment to outspeed most things and as soon as Snow dissapates you are left pretty much completely vulnerable. I ended up on 179 speed to beat Serperior, Latios and Ogerpon in snow, along with uninvested Sinistcha and Skarmory without snow. The main goal is to leverage its steel typing and access to incredible utility in Spikes/Stealth Rock, Knock Off and Spin. Also, since Snow now grants a 50% defense boost to all ice types and A-Slash having a solid Defense stat means it can tank physical hits fairly well and with spdef investment you can eat latios hits quite well.

As for the rest of the team, Thunderus is the other Snow abuser and with Weather Ball it is able to break through stuff like Latios and Sandy Shocks significantly easier. Banded Lokix is able to take advantage of pivots from Thunderus, Slowking and Cobalion. Cobalion is the weavile answer and rocks setter, as well as spreading Para for Thunderus and Lokix. Serperior is the most iffy mon on the team, notably being nerfed by snow with synthesis.

Other options for the team that I tried were Frosmoth and Icy Rock on Slowking.

You are lucky I have 32,000 years on this site playing lower tiers so I have a PhD on what milotic can do or can offer, cause honestly think you are running other bulky waters for your money. But I am NOT here to spoil any christmas.

Milotic offers a nice greninja check and overall very efficient special sponge with a lot of sustainability, should handle specs gren nicely enough and ice beam is very important cause you shouldnt be giving any leisure to opposing hydrapple, you will appreciate keeping that at bay over the momentum, trust me. Latios requires no introduction, excellent mon with luster purge being an absolute BS move. Not much explanation required.

For the hazard core Sandy Shocks and Tinkaton where selected, tinkaton mainly so you just dont DIE to dracos. And Sandy Shocks is just a cool offensive ground for setting up hazards and not allowing stuff like thundurus-therian to get out of hand. Scarf Zapdos is just a perfect recipient for hazard stacking in general, and the typing is appreciated. Last mon I wanted a grass type for opposing waters and to not give leeway to opposing grounds. Taunt Pon helps to keep the momentum of the team to prevent free hazards from skarm, Sinistcha is just a nice spinblocker for excadrill and donphan. Pick your poison there.

And I dip. Latios isnt Specs cause you cant be giving weavile any free setup, you really dont want that. Have fun!

klamalam Merry Christmas! er, Happy New Year.

:avalugg::hydreigon::clodsire::sinistcha::metagross: :Weavile:

Avalugg beats basically all physical attackers after tera, and also does well into a lot of things even before tera. Hydreigon is great at bullying ghost types that annoy the lugg. Clod and Cha Cha are the main defensive duo for handling anything lugg doesn't want to while keeping keld at bay since the initial two struggle there. Meta's here mainly for lati but also cleaves through a ton of mons and can trade positively a lot of the time. Weav rounds the team out with speed + extra priority

Happy Holidays Corporate Donkey !!!

I apologize for the delay on your Ditto Stall secret santa. First time making and testing a stall team so I had a lot to learn... :psycry:
:Muk-Alola: :Blissey: :Ditto: :Clodsire: :Avalugg: :Mandibuzz:

Viv already made a ditto stall for the samples so I tried my best to give a unique spin to ditto stall.

A-Muk doesn't have reliable recovery to fit on a stall, but I think it's defensive typing make it a good knocker for fatter teams, that mostly being that it can knock fez's boots without worrying about getting poisoned. EVed it to be more specially defenisve since Mandi on this team also has knock and is more phys def oriented.

Hope you enjoy!

Catcus merry mildly belated christmas!

:houndstone: :gastrodon: :cobalion: :latios: :zapdos-galar: :metagross:

You requested a houndstone team, but with the ttar rise I thought it would be really cool to try and make something more off piste with it and make use of its ability fluffy instead and ghost-typing tomake it into a fun spinblocker with some interesting move pool options like dbond for a spikes team. pairing it with multiple knockers and things that pressure removal in general allows for a team that can abuse spikes along with roar shuffling etc to allow for a fun game.

https://pokepast.es/4542a3fcc4ece15e
:houndstone: :hippowdon: :arcanine-hisui: :mandibuzz: :excadrill: :hydrapple:

Because i'm not mean I did include a sand team too though :) Obligatory hippo sets the sand, arcanine complements with something to handle like dirge etc and just do some breaking to soften teams up for cb hound, excadrill as a secondary sand sweeper + removal support, this is pretty nice cause can now run spdef mandi as a pivot into stuff like latios etc while abusing its sand immunity and provideu -turn support toget stuff in. Specs Hydrapple just is there to provide a punish to slowking more then anything cause its annoying for sand, but into any waters the resist is certainly nice.
