SV OU (FINAL RMT OF THE YEAR) The Scary Apple (and his best friend otter): A Helmet Hydrapple + AV Primarina Team

Happy "New Year's Eve" Eve everyone! I have 1 final RMT for this year that I would like y'all to have a look at. I have been staying away from OU for a while now due to burnout, but with me playing UU just recently, I have been getting better at identifying my win conditions and my opponent's win conditions.

With this team, we should jump right into the explanation of this team and what it provides/offers.
Hydrapple

Hydrapple @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 248 HP / 248 Def / 12 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Fickle Beam
- Earth Power
- Giga Drain

The obvious bro that doesn't need an introduction. This IS the main wall breaker of this team, sporting moves like Nasty Plot and Fickle Beam. Rocky Helmet is the main thing bro wears for physical attackers, and it's physical bulk even lets it take hits for a while. Nasty Plot is his main set-up move to click. Fickle Beam is a powerful STAB move that is sometimes 160 BP instead of 80 BP, having a chance to 2HKO Ting-Lu and other special walls. Giga Drain is it's STAB grass move that even has a chance of OHKOing Dondozo on a critical hit after rocks. Earth Power is mainly there for Slowking-Galar and Iron Treads. Tera Fairy allows it to check Zamazenta and other dragons in the tier. 0 Atk IVs lets it reduce damage taken from Foul Play. Hp and Def EVs allow it to survive physical attackers much longer. 12 Spe EVs allow it outspeed uninvested Ting-Lu.

Primarina

Primarina @ Assault Vest
Ability: Torrent
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 80 HP / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
Modest Nature
- Moonblast
- Psychic Noise
- Surf
- Flip Turn

The 2nd most important member on this game GO! Assault Vest Primarina takes a ton of special hits while even surviving a Specs Thunderclap from non-Protosynthesis Raging Bolt. Moonblast is her main powerful STAB move, that is fired off a 126 base SpA with 95 BP. Psychic Noise is useful against mons like Blissey, Garganacl. Pecharunt and Toxapex. Surf is the primary water STAB for this gal. Flip Turn provides as much momentum as possible for the team. Tera Poison fares well against other fairies like Enamorus. 176 Speed EVs allow it to outspeed uninvested Scizor. Modest Nature to boost it's sky high SpA.

CALC TIME
252+ SpA Choice Specs Raging Bolt Volt Switch vs. 80 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Primarina: 230-272 (71.6 - 84.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 SpA Gholdengo Make It Rain vs. 80 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Primarina: 235-277 (73.2 - 86.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 SpA Darkrai Sludge Bomb vs. 80 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Primarina: 238-280 (74.1 - 87.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Cinderace

Cinderace @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Blaze
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 224 HP / 32 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Pyro Ball
- U-turn
- Court Change
- Will-O-Wisp

The team's premier pivot. Here to spread burns, wisps and U-turn out. Pyro Ball is it's primary STAB move that is used to check Ghold and non-booster Treads. U-turn and Will-o-Wisp are self-explanatory. Court Change is used in conjunction with boots to flip hazards to another side of the field. Tera Fire powers up Pyro Ball which is fired off a decently high Attack. 224 HP EVs lets it live attacks a little longer. Heavy-Duty Boots is always important on Cinderace. And it's speed tier also lets it outspeed a solid margin of the metagame.

Incarnate Forme Enamorus

Enamorus (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Contrary
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Mystical Fire
- Healing Wish
Enamorus acts as the team's primary form of speed control. Choice Scarf gives Enamorus her mid speed a boost, as 311 becomes 466 speed. Moonblast is the main STAB Enamorus will be clicking, dealing over 45% damage to even Ting-Lu. Earth Power is used against Steel-types and Poison-types like Slowking-Galar and Iron Treads. Mystical Fire is a gamesaver against Balloon Ghold and Tinkaton, as well as checking Corviknight. Healing Wish offers support to the team fairly well. Tera Ground throws in powered-up Earth Powers against non balloon Ghold and Iron Treads/Slowking-Galar. I guess everything else is self-explanatory.

Iron Treads

Iron Treads @ Leftovers
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Rapid Spin

This dude BRINGS utility to the team. It sets up rocks, can knock knock, and spin those hazards out. Earthquake is needed on utility sets, so it's there. Knock Off pressures Slowking-Galar, Hoopa-Unbound, and mons weak to rock. Rapid Spin gives Iron Treads a decent speed boost whlist removing hazards from the field. Stealth Rock is self-explanatory. Tera Ghost gets rid of the fighting weakness, being a good switch-in to Fighting-types with the tera activated. Leftovers so it can heal itself processingly.

Hero of Many Battles Zamazenta

Zamazenta @ Leftovers
Ability: Dauntless Shield
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Defense
- Body Press
- Crunch
- Roar

The final member of the team I will be talking about. Acts as the main physical sweeper of the team paired with IronPress. Body Press is it's main STAB move (self explanatory), while Iron Defense boosts it to an insane amount and deals more damage when paired with Dauntless Shield. Crunch checks Pecharunt, Slowking-Galar, Gholdengo and Dragapult, respectively. Roar is used to pressure other pokemon on hazards, especially with their boots knocked. Tera Fire makes Zamazenta lose the Fairy weakness, and gains a resistance to it. It also gives it a grass resistance. EVs are self-explanatory.

I will list the main weakness of this team here. There are a few other weaknesses, but this will be the main weakness.
Iron Valiant

IRON VALIANT
A Specs Iron Valiant with Moonblast, Aura Sphere and Thunderbolt can easily sweep 5/6 of this team. I guess we have AV Primarina and Scarf Enam to fix that. We would have to keep them alive for the most part in order to get rid of the Valiant issue, especially with rocks.

Conclusion

Sooo... this team can be fixed, right?

Yes, this team can be fixed. Because nothing hits super effective against fairy I can opt for heavy slam over crunch on Zamazenta. This is my final RMT of the year and I will see you all next year. Replays will be linked.

Thanks for coming to my RMT.
t44Torkoal out!

Happy new year everyone!

nicely built team, however i feel like the team does poorly into special sweepers especially since you have no prio for revenge killing, also might need a better psychic resist than treads imo. On paper team also struggles with zap as you cannot touch it with treads as well as gholdengo but could be diff when it comes to actual games
