Hello and welcome to the first edition of PUCL! We're looking for 8 managing duos and there are no franchises to be taken over or retains to be had, although if a pair would like to continue from a PUBD team name and logo they are welcome to. Managers are expected to have past PU team tour experience, managed in a Smogon team tournament before, and/or be a major contributor to PU. Managers are also expected to be active in their teamchat and respond quickly with substitutes or lineups. Also, before signing up to manage, please note the different format this year which is still subject to change and being discussed in this thread. Most importantly, this is a flex format involving SV PU each week and with the potential for games in SS-RBY PU as decided by each team on a week-to-week basis. The potential existence of an SS PU suspect slot and the details of manager self-buys (prices and whether both managers should be allowed to do so) have not been fully worked out yet. Why would you be a good manager? (Prior experience + any other additional details)

Esteban already managed last PUPL and is well versed in the CG tier having good campaigns on individuals. Even from what I know being involved in PU in his SCL team and making circuit PO.

As for me I've started my manager path in the past year with 2 NUCLs (probably will be the candidate with most experience on the format) , NUPL, DOUwc, PTPL. Making 2 finals and getting a title. And I have experience from being part of SCL for the past 2 seasons learning a lot from the Machines. I want to manage the most Low Tiers with great results that I can to one day do the jump to officials.

Why would you be a good manager? (Prior experience + any other additional details):
I have recently made my managerial debut in RBYPL, where i self bought for 20k and proceeded to go 0-7 and become a yaplord in my players' channels, thus i have truly embodied the most accurate experience of a manager for my first teamtour as one. I have extensive knowledge of the rby pool for like every teamtour on this site, and quite frankly you will not find anyone more autistic about rby in this pool. ishtar

Why would you be a good manager? (Prior experience + any other additional details): Returning managers and franchise from PUBD where we made playoffs despite public expectations, since then we have both managed puwc with myself getting US NE to an improved result compared to the year prior and vy leading France to win the whole thing. Ive demonstrated my knowledge of multiple gens and tiers by managing tours like GSCPL, Advltl, and NUFL. Me and vy as a pair received glowing reviews last year and frankly i feel comfortable saying our motivation is even higher this time. Would love to start the new year off doing my favorite thing on this site, leading my precious vigoroths.

Why would you be a good manager?: For myself, If i free i can build 50+ team during one tour, although i not free i also can promote mates teambuild, in 2025 my manage tour like CNPL, WCOP, ORASPL, RUCL, LTWC, PUWC, OUPL all get playoff or have chance get playoff, i also being drud's scl support, akxhdwy is my good friend, a talent new player and get RU Circuit playoff, he have enough time help mates test.

Confirming. If you want a list of our accomplishments I've detailed them in this post. Since then, Quinn won SMPL as a manager in dominant fashion and I was a PUWC captain for US South (went positive in pools reusing the same team) and managed NUCL. Quinn and I were in RUCL finals and he's managing BSSCL so obviously have extensive experience with this format.
