There is no way I just:
A. Got frozen when I would have (probably) defeated Greninja if it had hit(turn 3)
B. Got flinched when I would have defeated Greninja if it had hit(turn 5)
C. Missed a Drago Meteor when I might have defeated it if it had hit( turn 11)
D. Got critted with a Surf(turn 13)

COME ON!!!

In a doubles setting, with a situation that could easily have been solved or at least had SOME progress made, instead the Rayquaza is completely blind, and the Alcremie and Bellibolt combo get to go off without a hitch thanks to crits and paralysis. All packed into the span of two turns! I'd forfeit after that spectacle, too.

So this doesn't change the amount of luck but the annoyance i felt with this luck. This took place in the first round of the swiss tournament in the RBTT tryout server tournament and I was down a game fighting to take it to game 3.
The bad luck starts of minor on turn 6 when suicune scald burns me off the first scald it goes for.
The real bad luck starts on turn 29. I have positioned myself to win the game after one sleep powder as my opponent has terad his gyarados making it unable to take on my lilligant. But bellibolt had a different outcome in mind as it dodges sleep powder, that's ok it's not the end of the world. Then proceeds to click thunderbolt getting the para to rub it in on my lilliagant. I could almost hear the bellibolt saying "if you give me an inch i'll take a mile." A bit annoyed but still level headed I know I'm still in winning position, after all i can still win as long as it's asleep and hey i don't need to worry about toxic now that i'm parad. Little did i know what would happen in the next few turns. Lilligant decided to go for a 360 no scope on the sleep powder and failed horribly. Slightly worried as a full para could happen any turn ruining it all it didn't even cross my mind that lilligant could miss again. Lo and behold lilligant must have been payed off as it proceeded to miss a 3rd and final sleep powder to secure my loss for the game and for round 1.

I just felt like having some fun with this one, but long story short
Turn 6 i got burned
Turn 29 I miss sleep powder and get parad
Turn 30 and 31 i miss sleep powder again and die on turn 32 due to me being slower cause of the para

Just an unlucky game overall that could've been prevented if a couple of moves hit. Missed a hydro turn 4, Then opponent gets the snowscape slush rush Beartic set that flinched my Dachsbun on turn 12 allowing me not to wish. Then Dachsbun missed a play rough on turn 17, golduck then missed a hydro to kill beartic on turn 20. Overall the beartic was able to kill 3 mons where it probs should've killed at least 2.

A short battle today, and you won't have to wait long to find out why! It's already unlucky to have two of your pokemon get frozen in a single game, but to have it happen in the same turn? That's the kind of bad luck that will get you first prize here at UPOW, no doubt about it.
