UU Tour Circuit 2026

Hi all, welcome to the official UU circuit for 2026! There are some key changes this year that will be detailed in the post below, these being heavily discussed prior to notable support from the community!

We have a full circuit timetable below for this year all planned out, timings will hopefully follow this as closely as we can manage. These are also detailed below:

UNDERUSED OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE - 2026

  • UU Masters VIII (Type A) - January - Hosted by
  • UU Classic X (Type B) - January - Hosted by Estarossa
  • UU Open XV (Type A) - May - Hosted by
  • UU Ladder Tour (Type B) - June - Hosted by
  • UU 6-8 Tour I (Type B) - July - Hosted by
  • UU Showtime II (Type A) - August - Hosted by
  • UU Championships VIII (Ribbon Playoffs) - Hosted by Estarossa

We have a couple of key changes going into 2026!

  • UU Classic - Standard classic format with 5 cups in RBY, GSC, ADV, DPP, BW, and standard single elimination playoffs for the 16 players with highest total scores, happening during January to March.
  • UU 6-8 Tour - Double elimination tour with ORAS, SM, SS, happening during July to September. [Name TBD]

UU Classic has now become Gens 1-5 only, this is a change that was needed to be made to combat the growing number of tours in the pool and issues that players felt over that. Its now been moved to earlier in the year to help spread out compared to where gens 6-8 are going, and to fit well as it has minimal overlap with UU Masters.

UU 6-8 Tour is replacing Homefield due to its identity crisis as a tour where it had a horrible mix of an SV tour and a classic style tier, where a lot of games became quite mu'y based on picks and it was hard to have proper consistency with all possible games here. This new tour will focus on gens 6-8 as a fairy-gen style tour and offer something with a different pace and vibe to classic format, prioritising people getting more games and consistency across all 3.

UU Classic X Signups are now opening, these will be staggered across a 2 week period as follows,

  • :nidoqueen: GSC Cup - Hosted by Estarossa - signups going up on Monday 12th January
  • :Hypno: RBY Cup - Hosted by ThatOneApple - signups going up on Monday 12th January
