sunny is the newest GPTL!
I've been around on PS and Smogon for over 10 years at this point. An entire decade. I have a lot of good memories here and have met a ton of really amazing people, including my own fiance. I've been involved with GP as a whole for over half of that time, and GPTL for the last 2 years. GP has without a doubt had the most of my interest, time, and dedication out of everything I've been involved in. It's been amazing to contribute alongside so many likeminded people and see great things happen for the section. I would go through and shout everyone out, but I don't want to draw this post out too much. Alas, all good things must come to an end. I'm busier now IRL more than ever before with work, wedding planning, and other obligations. As such, I'm ready to put my leadership days behind me and contribute in a more relaxing manner. So yes, I'll still be around--just more behind the scenes and casually.
sunny joined the GP team back in May 2024 (as my tutee, funnily enough!) and has served as a forum mod for GP since February 2025. He has been heavily invested in everything GP since then and has demonstrated great ability to lead and mediate policy discussions, all while still being involved with amcheckers and the general community. I am confident he will make a fantastic leader.
