Fellow Corviknights, our season has come to a close, and what a journey it has been. Though we were ultimately unable to achieve everything we set out to, we nonetheless end our season with a memorable win. You all made some truly valiant efforts over these past seven weeks, and it was a privilege to see all of you write your own story throughout this tour. Alas, for the Corviknights, this chapter ends here, and I want to take the opportunity to thank all of you for being a part of it.
Wincon: BUDDY, you challenged me on EVERYTHING. So many of the teams we brought to SV were hashed out after hours and hours of debate. And I didn't always appreciate this, but looking back, we were undoubtedly better off for it. Fun fact: we ended up with the best SV record out of all the teams in the tour! An excellent result indeed for a first-time manager, and hopefully this is just the beginning of your managerial career. This tournament might have been one to forget, but perhaps it's better to selectively forget.
CrossHeart: You held down all the old gen slots and you did a damn good job at it. You put in an incredible amount of work and dedication every week, and you brought a wealth of experience that was critical for us making it this far at all. Things could have easily gone differently if circumstances favored us a bit more, but even still we were in contention for a long time - undeniably an improvement over last year at least! I had a wonderful time managing with you... and maybe in two months we will see each other again.
MemphisDepay: Most improved, rising star, to say they were deserved would be criminally understated. You put in a dazzling performance - 6-1! - and your games were always a joy to watch. You stuck with us through our toughest moments and you rose to every challenge. Whatever you go on to do in Monotype, don't let this tournament hold you back.
LoSconosciuto: So let me get this straight: you were our bulwark in SV, putting in admirable performances week after week, then we move you to SS and you continue your consistently strong form there? LoSco, above all, you gave us confidence. Every week, you never wavered, regardless of where you played. This was truly impressive. It was a pleasure to team up with you.
Sificon: SifiGOAT! You started off your season by winning an incredibly difficult matchup. Then you figured it would be a good idea to take the Bellibolts' signature team and turn it right back onto them. That was so bold, so audacious, I LOVED it! Your positivity in the server was infectious, and with a memorable win in the last round you pulled out a fantastic tournament performance as well.
Sunnyboi0: While assembling the Pheromosas core wasn't quite enough to win it all this time, we were nonetheless treated to a phenomenal NDM performance. You were our trusted anchor in those first few tumultuous weeks and you certainly rose to the occasion, saving us multiple valuable points in the process.
Shucklegigas: You had the most tragic start of all. The Supercell Slam incident could have destroyed a player. But you managed to rise from the ashes. Even when you weren't playing, you were an excellent presence in our server. Then, in our moment of need, when our personnel issues were at their most severe, you stepped into BW and found your form again. The results sadly don't reflect how much work you put in and how much mental fortitude it took to come back with those great showings late in the tournament. Still, keep your head held high... and maybe use Thunder Punch next time.
Leafeonlol: In your very first game in a major team tour, you took down a truly formidable opponent in a truly difficult game - an incredible achievement indeed. But the nerves must have gotten to you in the later rounds - this is extremely natural and we've all been there. Still, you were consistently one of the most active members in the server, always willing to lend a helping hand and always making the server a better place. You have great potential, and I hope to see you in more tours in the future.
Meta: Truly a master at work, you excelled in both BW and Threat. We knew what you were capable of and you delivered a very solid performance indeed. It was great discussing and testing Threat with you.
Jolly Togekiss Mateeus: Alas, reassembling the Bell Tower Braves was insufficient to replicate our MPL performance here. But come this summer, we WILL run it back. I hope to see you there.
Bluxio Bitana terrors: You guys mostly held down the old gen slots, so we weren't able to interact too much. But our interactions have always been pleasant and you all had a great presence in the server. I'm glad to have teamed up with you.
ltranc Dugtrio Is Broken: Sadly, as a consequence of having such a large roster, you didn't get to play too much. Still, both of you certainly have a lot of potential in Monotype and I hope to see you in future tours.
