While I'm not entirely sure which Deviant monster is my favourite, Bloodbath Diablos is definitely top 3 at the very least. I love the setup for it as the ultimate Deviant of sorts, with it being one of GU's flagship monsters, being the only Deviant with its own theme (Thank Gog, the Deviant theme is good but given how much you have to fight them it can get old), and how you need to beat every other Deviant and Ahtal-Ka before unlocking its questline. The fight is so anxiety-inducing despite the fact that Bloodbath starts off relatively slow and calm cuz you know shit will hit the fan once it starts enraging and going into its second phase. That's when the adrenaline really starts to kick because christ it gets so aggressive and the margin of error can be so slim at times to dodge an attack. Roar into charge combo how I have such a love-hate relationship with you. Not big on any of its gear tbh, weapons are outclassed by a lot and the armor has the same issues as a lot of other Deviant armors + I don't care for its look. Its original Japanese name of Massacre Demon Diablos also goes hard, though I do prefer Bloodbath Diablos.

Back when I was clearing the EX Deviant quests, I decided to keep Bloodbath for last. It was definitely as hard as I expected it to be. One of my favourite moments from when I was trying to clear the quest was when I got hit with the roar into charge combo and got fucking OHKOd in a hilariously unceremonious manner. This ended up happening on the successful attempt too LMAO. If I could find a way to share the clip on Smogon I would, but I can't seem to figure it out so rip.
