Welcome to the first edition of NFE Olympiad! The hosts for this tour will be kiru, Yash Vortex, and Zpice.
Manager signups are now open! The format for the tournament this year will be as follows:

SV NFE
SV NFE
SS NFE
SM NFE
ORAS NFE
BW NFE
DPP NFE
ADV NFE

Managers and co-managers may self-buy and play.
All teams will begin with a starting budget of 100k.

Regarding manager pricing:
- Managers and co-managers will cost a flat 15k

Past experiences: My experience with NFE cant be considered particularly extensive. I have managed in UMFL, which had SV NFE as one of its formats. I have, however, manager experience as a whole, having managed many toura under team Portugal's banner, such as ltwc, wcor and currently am managing uwc. Outside of Portugal, i have also gotten the manager role in a plethra of off-platform tournaments, usually on discord. On Smogon itself, excluding UMFL, in which i took Luso Phiones all the way to semis, i am also managing in the ongoing PTSL, where my team, Negro Drampas, has qualified for semifinals as well. TTK could be seen as a polar opposite though, in what regards NFE expertise. He is an active and involved member of the NFE community, who plans to lend his experience to bring this team to victory. He is also not inexperienced as a manager, having managed BDSPPL and, relevantly for this tournament, he was also a manager in NFEPL 4. He has also made finals in MOMPL I. We think our experience as managers and involvement with the tier can bring this team to victory, and we will do everything in our power to guarantee that holds true

Past experiences: Quagg has been managing in the last 3 iterations of NFEPL and won 2 of them, i managed last year's NFEPL as well as some other tours like UMPL & ZUWC in the past. We are both NFE veterans and are able to cover every single generation (Quagg = SV / SS / SM / BW / DPP, me = SV / SS / ORAS / ADV). We know how to build a good team environment and make it fun for everybody while having a competitive roster, we should be able to fill the role of managers perfectly in this tournament.

Past experiences:
i'm a nfe veteran (ig) and have a LOT of manager xp in brazilian community and at some discord sidetours, managing since ~2018 and going to playoffs 90% of time, i enjoy a lot the NFE teamtours environment (being positive in these tournaments since NFEPL IV) so u can expect myself being tryhard with prep/scout/building teams (and this tournament having old gens reminds me of my first nfepl so it would be a nice experience to manage smth like it)
5dots is another veteran and an active player in NFE community, being part of the NFE council and has a lot of good results playing nfe individual/teamtours
I think we have a good combo of having tons of experience in this tier, knowledge of the playerbase, dedication and manager xp to build a very competitive team with a funny environment
