Rules
  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

SV MnM: RoFnA (55) vs (45) GhastlyPixie
I hate to glaze Rofnoob but he is one of the best SV MnM players around. I haven't seen Pixie play MnM all that much but she went like 6-3 in OMCL playing a million tiers so she's definitely no slouch either. Rofna doesn't build and spams old SpaceSpeakers teams so prepping against him shouldn't be hard at all. If prep is on point and Pixie plays well Rofna will lose.

SV MnM: zuzhouwawa (40) vs (60) TKYSZL

TKYSZL is one of the finest gems MnM's got. He builds creatively and plays well, he's 100% an OMTT starter caliber player. zuzhouwawa, on the other hand, is one of the finest Ubers players, and MnM is Ubers-based so they should have no problem adapting. I'm pretty sure they're both team china friends too. this should be a good game.

SV MnM: lepton (60) vs (40) Mindnight

Lepton once gave me the beating of my life in one of the MnM tours (I think it was ssnl i dont remember) so I have no reason to not believe in them now. (Sidenote: Mindnight is a noob)

SS MnM: TectonicDestroyer (40) vs (60) Redflix

Amazing week 1 MU. Both of them are very experienced players so it could go either way. I think Redflix is a much more consistent player so I'll have to give it to him. Tectonic sometimes plays like a God and somethings like a drunk so it depends on which form he's in for this game (hopefully it's the former so we get an exciting game)

SM MnM: Treeko928 (40) vs (60) db

db has been playing SM MnM (or well, MnM as a whole) forever so he knows the ins and outs of the tier better than most people. Treeko is solid but he's relatively new so it'll not be an easy game for him to win.

ORAS MnM: Pokemh (49) vs (51) Terracotta

ORAS is a wild metagame with a hundred stupid mons. Who wins depends on who manages to find the more broken tech. I'll give it to Terracotta cuz I think he's more likely to be the one loading the "better" team.

SV LC MnM: Yoru97 (55) vs (45) rarre

Yoru97 (henceforth Pal) is the God of LC MnM. He knows this tier better than anyone. Rarre is a strong player and has support from Velcroc and qtfox so he could definitely win this. Great MU. Pal will spend 1 bazillion hours on prep though so it won't be easy for rarre.

Multigen Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Mincera31 (35) vs (65) QT

No Johns rematch. I know I predicted a 35/65 but it's probably much closer than that. QT won last time and they're probably the strongest multigen player in the tour so it'll be an uphill battle for Mincera. Mince is one of the strongest rising stars in MnM and my buddy so I'm hoping he succeeds.

SV MnM: kDCA (49) vs (51) ghostlike

Ghostlike is creative and plays well. kdca is a very strong player with prior MnM experience and has support from his team. Hard MU to predict. I've always been a ghostlike fan in MnM though so I'll give it to him.

SV MnM: hayedenn (60) vs (40) Betticus IV

Betticus has always impressed me in MnM. He's a great player and builds well. It's nearly impossible to bold vs hayedenn though. Sorry Bett.

SV MnM: seraphz (65) vs (35) Tanny89k

seraphz went 6-2 or something in MnM in omcl. Tanny is good but seraphz probably wins this.

SS MnM: Axzel (50.5) vs (49.5) Ivar57

Hype MU. Idk who to bold. Will give it to axzel but it's close.

SM MnM: jb291(60) vs (40) hxmo

I've seen more action from jb. hxmo's decent but he's very new.

ORAS MnM: qways (55) vs (45) dhelmise

According to Lightniong's research quays was geeked in his prime so I'll give it to him. Oras is a wild west and dhelmise is very experienced so they can easily take this.

SV LC MnM: bleahey (45) vs (55) Quinn

Both of them are good but Quinn won the lc mnm tour so he probably wins this.

Multigen Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Sagazinha (30) vs (70) Clas

I'm quite surprised to see sagazinha in multigen. They have support from hay and axzel though so prep should be good. Clas is solid at all 3 gens. I can't see Clas losing but he did say he was busy and mons is mons so sagaz could very well win this.

I think this is going to be the closest matchup this week, the only thing tipping it in Quinn's favor is Bleahey's relative rust and Clas being in Quinn's corner. Despite Bleahey's disadvantages, I can't pick a winner here, both of them winning feels entirely possible, even if I'm personally hoping for the upset.

Greybaum vs Novax | 25-75

What exactly are the Necrozmas doing here? They legitimately have nothing for LC mnm and I wouldn't be surprised if Greybaum was kinda just put in the slot because they needed someone to play the tier. If Greybaum wins this, Novax probably goes 0-x, I just don't see Novax losing against the one team without any substance relating to LC mnm and then winning a game later in the tour vs teams who have experienced players and at the very least decent prep.

Multigen Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Mincera31 vs QT - QT shouldn't lose here, but it'd be very funny for me if he did so.

SS MnM: Axzel vs Ivar57 - Ivar57 is good, but I think Axzel is prepared with some strong offense that's breaking any balance builds that Ivar's going for.
SM MnM: jb291 vs hxmo
ORAS MnM: qways vs dhelmise - I like Dhelmise, but I always see Qways have these above-average performances in every tier he plays at. Simply said, he's not someone you can beat if your skill level is worse fundies-wise.
SV LC MnM: bleahey vs Quinn - Lowkey a HL matchup, and I think Quinn will end up positive. Dominating is where I am questioning, since I can see Rarre and Greybaum with enough time on the tier, and figuring out how things operate will threaten their status.
Multigen Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Sagazinha vs Clas - Clas wins if he doesn't make any comments on battle chat at all in g1 and g2.

SV LC MnM: Greybaum vs Novax - Greybaum may have a bit weird start to the tier, but give him enough time, and he'll be close to the tier being solved or figure out ways to exploit the holes of the tier with builds that are solid and consistent that you'll have to prep his teams by figuring out the synergy and sequences he's setting up at.
