The hosting team has been receiving a massive amount of reports regarding Sootopolis ShowStoppers, and today we'd like to address the situation.

Firstly, we received word from a few users from the team itself telling us about the fact that several of the members of Sootopolis ShowStoppers were failing to meet the 1-month rule quota. The hosting team then decided to confront the main manager of Sootopolis ShowStoppers.
Zephyr Moonbeam came up with the story that he didn't know, despite nearly everyone being told with an @here ping, and that, apparently, the previous owner (Shashank812009, who isn't active on Smogon), had pruned most of the server by December 29th, despite the tournament being announced on January 1st and starting signups on January 12th.
The next day, Zephyr Moonbeam, with no approval nor confirmation, posted his rosters thread, to which the hosting team said they had zero approval to, so Zephyr said he'd get it sorted.
The next day, Zephyr sent this:

Since people can lie on the internet, he was responded with a "no". Then he started complaining about the 1-month rule, saying it "broke many teams" (I couldn't find any cases outside of his team), then saying that he'd do whatever. The hosting team stated that he should first prove his players had been there a month ago. After teaching Zephyr Moonbeam on how to use the search function on Discord, he started sending screenshots of players entering the server more than a month ago like this:

This would be sufficient if it wasn't for the fact that Zephyr could use Inspect, which is easily accesible in any browser, and can allow anyone to type whatever they want into any box and fake any log however they want, like this:

However a tired bern allowed it at the time since they didn't want to deal with Zephyr Moonbeam's shenanigans anymore.

TL;DR: Zephyr Moonbeam lied about several things with regards to entering ISTT, especially when it came to verifying users on the 1-month rule that was previously established.

Result: Zephyr Moonbeam will be banned from ANY FUTURE ITERATION of ISTT as player or manager, and Sootopolis ShowStoppers will be DISQUALIFIED from the tournament. As a result, everyone within the same group of Sootopolis ShowStoppers shall gain a 12-0 bye every week they have to face them. Zephyr Moonbeam will not face an infraction as this is a for-fun tournament.

Since this is for fun, if im able to assemble a team within an hour can we fill in for them? Keep original scores and all

Edit: this isnt a joke btw, we actually wanted to run it back from last year, but I was unaware of sign ups going up so we missed it. If not no worries and hope you have a smooth tournament

With this happening, I'm looking to support other teams as the one I was supporting... yeah.

If anyone needs a supporter for scouts and mocks and such, dm me.

Edit: P.S. I couldn't control the roster situation. I even tried warning him about how people can just see when others join a server, but he went on with it. I don't support what he did and tried to prevent it.
