Please include your PS!/Smogon name as well as anything to help us get to know you and your experience better: some good examples are your ladder records, tour results or replays, but anything is welcome even if you think we know you already. Please only message one of us even if you play multiple managers' formats. We'll be sharing all info you send amongst ourselves and scheduling tryouts as necessary. Even if we know you, go ahead and send us a message anyway. There are a lot of excellent players in the pool, and we want to see you in your best and most current form.

RBEL III Public Tryouts Results

Why put effort into posts when you can just copy and paste from a different thread and change 4 words?

After a grueling weekend of over 420 games, the RBEL III Public Tryouts have (mostly) concluded! Thank you to everyone that came out and played! The results have been summarized in this spreadsheet. Players drafted into RBTT have (probably) been removed.

Vital Statistics

55 unique participants
~15 (~30%) are known players from RBTT/RBEL
~428 total games (this is a lowball, a couple of missing replays and uncompleted playoffs series)
Roughly 8 games per participant
~237 "high quality" games (defined by playoffs games or Round 4 in Swiss or later)
Roughly 7 high quality games per playoffs participant

Replay Compendium
I've also listed every replay from all livetours in this spoiler, also by Smogon username. Username of the player that won is listed first. For tournaments with Swiss, the replays are listed largely in chronological order.

Shoutouts
Keep in mind that I'm just a washed up Gen 4 (puke) player so nothing I say here is a guarantee that you'll get drafted, but I want to highlight some interesting observations I had while looking at the data.

AquaGuy2.0 - It's a little unfortunate that AquaGuy2.0 didn't get drafted for RBTT. I thought he had both the performance and volume to merit at least strong consideration, but draft is always hard to predict. I would be shocked if he wasn't picked up in RBEL, though, should he choose to sign up.

glowbrogang - With the RBTT players removed, glowbrogang is at the top of the charts. Should be higher, even, but I'm too lazy to add in the last series where he won the playoffs of Livetour #3. While he doesn't have as many games as others on the sheet, a strong performance like this should, at the least, merit some additional games with managers to feel him out as a player.

Swaay - Swaay's performance isn't as pristine as glowbro's, but he put up good results in a lot of games and had a very good run against tougher opponents. I didn't update his last series on the sheet, but it was a Bo5 that went to 5 games against RBTT player and RBEL manager Rowlet69420, which should be quite the interesting series to gauge his skill. That series is in the Replay Compendium above.

Runo - Runo had a great performance overall, though this slips a bit on the games against more difficult opponents. Still, a strong prospect for any team's SV core.

NDD To The Top, TGA, Wishing, WarriorGallade - The general theme for these names is good performances, but not a lot of games. I think all of them would be strong starters in what I'm sure are now pretty much new SV pools in RBEL, but managers should verify this for themselves.

passionfruit_fan, Nakoruru_XD, Novax, NDD To The Top, Shynii21, someone random, Mozonite, Stonenoob107, Roadto15oo, Maxisc23, ambi_, Zoyotte - The general theme for these names is decent performance (around 0.5 winrate, maybe some lower, with a good # of games). Probably not who I would think of first for starters, but definitely for SV3 and as subs.

unaware clodsire - Having personally played unaware clodsire multiple times on the Gen 4 ladder, I can attest that this would be a great player in 4/5/6....just not in SV LOL

Hi @managers, I'm unfortunatly unpicked for the RBTT but would like to still have a chance to play rands again since it's a very enjoyable format

Currently back from a long break so I'm laddering a bit at the moment :

I'm not only playing gen5 player, quite a flexible player if you want to put me somewhere else i'll do the job as well.

Played in RBWC (bw starter)/ RBTT (bw starter) / PO Slam in the past, if you have more question you can ask me directly.

Looking for new talents in dubs? Here my shoutouts to Staraptor854, Chrogray, SolaceAnt.
I personally played with them on private sets and they have nothing less than some RBTT players. Staraptor is my main training partner outside of my RBTT friends, Chrogray improved a lot analyzing games and playing high level randdubs for months and Solaceant is an experienced ladder warrior that defeated me on a bo3 while he was playing on phone at night...

Don't even try to overlook these gems, play them if you don't trust me ;)

I also hope we are gonna see SirSquishi on the stage again, one of the best players from last year. Please Sir consider it!!!

I see lots of new names this year, with many that i don't know. Managers, i trust you in creating the best rbel dubs pool ever
