[SET COMMENTS]
Kyurem is an incredible setup sweeper for Dragon teams thanks to its interesting speed and incredible legendary box stats. Known as a special wallbreaker, a physical set is less expected and harder to check. With Dragon Dance, and Loaded Dice, Kyurem threatens with an attack boost special walls like Hisuian Goodra, Clodsire, and Assault Vest Hoopa-U and creates a hole in the flying core by 2HKOing Corviknight and Skarmory after Stealth Rocks, and beat Ground-type after a Scale Shot's speed boost and Fire-type once Heatran's Air Balloon popped. Earth Power allows to hit steel mons resisting his STAB combination like non-Balloon Heatran and 2HKO defensive Archaludon. Naive Nature lets Kyurem outspeed naturally mons like Great Tusk, and Hisuian Samurott or with 2 speed boosts, Excadrill under Sand, Kingdra under Rain, or Choice Scarf Dragapult.
Dragon Dance Kyurem struggles to set up against physically bulky walls such as Dondozo, and Skarmory, and is pressured by Fighting-type attackers from threats like Iron Valiant, Urshifu-R, and Great Tusk. Teammates that provide speed control, and defensive support are essential. Archaludon checks physical attackers such as Dragapult, and Dragonite, sets Stealth Rock, and spreads Thunder Wave slowing fast threats like Meowscarada, Iron Valiant, and Dragapult. Likewise, Latias which offers valuable role compression utilizing a Choice Scarf to eliminate Latios and non-Choice Scarf Sneasler and Healing Wish giving Kyurem a second chance to sweep. Dragapult supports Kyurem with utility options like Will-O-Wisp, crippling physical checks such as Mamoswine, and Great Tusk and creating setup opportunities. Choice Specs Dragapult can outright remove or heavily dent offensive checks like Iron Crown, Walking Wake, and Gholdengo. Latios and Raging Bolt act as strong special breakers, pressuring bulky Water-types such as Dondozo, and Toxapex. Raging Bolt's Thunderclap provides also a priority against faster threats, picking off Greninja, and Sneasler. Kommo-o improves difficult Steel and Dark matchups, pressuring Pokémon like Ting-Lu, Hisuian Samurott, Bisharp, and Skarmory. Choice Scarf Roaring Moon provides additional speed control and revenge kills threats like Dragapult. Hisuian Goodra handles special attackers like Flutter Mane, Hatterene, and Greninja.
