Anyways, why was laurel murdered? I only saw them make like 1 post and it was about accusing LN, it was why I jumped on the LN train

I voted for dbd and ln bc they were the only people being voted for where it wasn’t bc they were inactive

Idk I just don’t like voting for people bc their inactive, feel like if you’re vanilla town you would pay less attention to the game, that’s what happened in most real life experiences for me

if the confusion is genuine (which I do believe it is), I wouldn't say this is the reason behind it and ECat detailed why he didn't vote yesterday anyways.

Peum I think you are overreading that interaction a bit. Ecat voted and then like four people jumped on them calling them a moron. Do you actually think that a townie who doesn't really know what they're doing would hold on in that situation? Otoh, if ECat has actually played mafia like 8 times before, I do think it's fair to call them on doing something that they've been explicitly told is anti-town.

I went back to go through D1, and the only posts I could find about mayor claiming were from me, Celever, and (mostly) Peum. I thought this was a huge topic of conversation, but actually I think it was just Peum posting about it a lot. I understand that this was an intentional gambit from Peum to try to catch a scum mayor, I guess? But I actually think it's pretty believable that a town mayor could see those three posts (or even really just miss the ones that aren't Peum) and think "I don't trust this person, they badgered me out of voting, I'm just going to shut up now." If Peum is scum this is a very good gambit for them, because it essentially generates a believable policy reason to vote out someone who will be a very easy mark. The fact that Celever seems to be on board and is seemingly taking all of this as common sense is an association I will look back to if Peum turns out to be scum.

At this point I am more suspicious of Peum than ECat. I am still pretty suspicious of ECat though. But, in the event that ECat flips (which I assume will happen) and they're town (which I think is plausible at least), I would put Peum next personally.

Regardless of who ends up flipping, I really hate any day that ends with a lynch that looks like 7-2-1-1 or something like that. If there aren't two serious contenders for the lynch we learn very little from it. So, I hope someone else will either join me or start ginning up another bandwagon :tymp:

this could easily be TvT between ECat and Peum. ECat misplayed, Peum is pointing out the misplay and voting them for it. That's the world, and is arguably the likeliest one lol

Whereas it is true that if ECat's scum Peum has a nigh on 100% chance of being town. But no shot if ECat's town that that tells us really anything about Peum's alignment; if ECat's town Peum would do the same thing as mafia or town here

fairy just seems very noncommittal with her posting. I know she said lower activity early on in the game but I feel like we haven’t gotten much in the way of content/pushing the game forward from her

Miyami I feel like has been aggressively interacting with des and vishy… too aggressively :o I think based off us now having des mafia meta to look at she’s town, and I think vishy is more likely noobtown than noobscum (scumchat would’ve told him to cut it out with the cryptic “I’m suspicious” stuff by now)

I’m pretty convinced of Peum town because of the crazy scum hunting effort so far. Bliz actually voted for Peum so I think he could be scum

I know that this is entirely irrelevant to your vibes Phoopes, but i will tell you that my mafia meta in OC is usually to blitzkrieg information while things are disorganized before there's an established town core, and my village meta is usually a lot more subdued. Celever and a fairy and Dead by Daylight can probably attest to this. I did really want to be more active and chit chatty but like, i'm just working a ton and exhausted when the day's done.
 
vishy seems so obviously like an inept townie that I honestly think it's kind of ridiculous that this is the second lynch I woke up to. This is so obviously the scum-designated lynch lol

I'm not saying vishy can't be scum but what have they said that makes it more likely than random? A wagon materialized on them so easily/with no opposition while half the game thinks ECat is confscum and I'm even worse. That should be ringing alarm bells imo

then don't vote ECat and form a counterwagon? i really dislike this "oh well" style of voting except at EoDs, we still have time to switch our vote
 
I slept on the ECat situation and I do think he’s likelier to be town than before by quite a lot. I don’t think it’s necessarily mandatory to vote him at some point either so I’m down to look into other options

I still think Peum’s town though, so the current cwagon sucks can we do better :wo:
